I saw Braum's, and immediately made my lunch plans. The building has a word that interests me - market! I knew it would have hamburgers. I knew it would have ice cream. I didn't know what to expect when they had market on their building. I walk inside to smiling faces and am greeted. I guess me taking so many pictures gave me serious tourist vibes... I see many coolers/refrigerated units inside. I see bagged salad mixes, bread, milk, their name ice creams, deli meat, etc. This is a place you can shop if you enjoy small market setups. Their is an employee dedicated to getting the market shoppers out as quickly as possible. The food...I was surprised at how rich the shake was. I was surprised that the A2 cow meat produce was different tasting...it tasted like real beef. The Braum's sauce was tasty. The seasoning on the fries was tasty. Everything was tasty. I used the shake for the meal, and a chocolate vanilla yogurt twist for dessert. I needed an after dessert snack, so I ordered a 2 scoop, pistachio almond and pecan praline ice cream cone (don't judge me! Fat is what fat does!). It was delicious. Unlimited soda refills that are Coca-Cola products. Braum's get 1 star taken away because they do not have a frequent eater program or an app. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience. They really did earn the fourth star by having black walnut ice cream. That's a seasonal eating, and I was told they keep black walnut around often.

Oh my, Where to start…read more This used to be my favorite Grocery store. Thank God I don't have to shop here anymore. For the past couple of years, hubby has gotten the dark chocolate fondant white cake here for his birthday. The bakery here used to be excellent. This year hubby wanted that same cake so we came to order it & I showed her the photo of it & she told me they don't make them anymore. She couldn't tell me why. So hubby looked around & saw a gorgeous "Tres leches cake with fruit" and he LOVES that so he said "I don't care I want this one" so we bought that one. However, while we were there I was also looking at the fresh baked breads & they were all really small & kinda deformed. That means the staff aren't PROOFING the dough long enough. It's not rocket science. However, pandemic slackers, no one wants to work, bla bla bla, I can imagine no one left here is smart enough to know how to bake. To Management: "The only employee that has ever been helpful & mentally capable of running anything is the employee "Ronnie" who ironically owns a food company. I bet he could run the bakery. Just a thought." Anyhoo, we get the cake home & it said: "Tres Leches FRUIT Cake" on the label, but turns out, it was a Tres Leches cream cake with no fruit. So the label was even wrong. Luckily, Hubby LOVED the Tres Leches cream cake, even better than the Tres Leches fruit cake he occasionally gets. So no harm no foul. All turned out well astonishingly. However, having only one excellent cake is not enough to make us return anytime soon. Please fix the bakery. Bring back the dark chocolate fondant white cake.

They also had chips, drinks and other snacks as well. Everything was reasonably priced. I ordered an oatmeal cookie, and my spouse ordered a Banana muffin. The oatmeal cookie was absolutely delicious, it was moist and not too sweet... very satisfying, and huge too. I couldn't wait to take a bite after unwrapping it. Definitely hit the sweet spot I was looking for. The ladies behind the bar were excellent. Both were genuinely friendly and offered suggestions on items we might like. After we paid, they both thanked us and told us to let them know if we needed anything. It was the kinda service that gives you a warm, happy, fuzzy feeling. I'd definitely visit the Bakery again.
