I used to have Whataburger. my wife encouraged me to have Brums' and I tried it , I loved it. I started to get Brums', but unfortunately every so often it was good and when it is not good it is bad and more often bad. I am puzzled why they can not have good all the time! Was there on Saturday afternoon. It was crazy busy. Although we love Braums, this one is very disorganized. Had a line forming for ice cream and no one to wait on you even though there was plenty of staff , finally got someone to wait on us and placed our order. Got the order, it was correct after reminding them we ordered frozen yogurt and not ice cream. Then we had to ask someone to take our money. The tables were dirty and lots of buzzing around. Braums where tf is the peppermint ice cream?? Have tried to order a peppermint shake here twice in the past two weeks and have been told don't have any peppermint ice cream. Oh but no worries you can buy it in a tub but they can't sell grocery items in the drive through you have you get out of your car and walk inside to purchase. I don't need a whole tub of ice cream. OMG there were SO MANY flavors of ice cream at this place I was in complete shock! It was so hard for me to decide on what to get but I had to settle for the Strawberry Shortcake sundae which was absolutely divine! Ohmylawd! Just as the cashier handed me my freshly made and cold Strawberry Shortcake a man in front of me, who was clearly undecided on what to get, looked at my sundae and pointed to it as he said "I want that!". Sure as heck you want some of this Stawberry Shortcake! It was damn good! The friends I was with all settled with something different than what I got that included the (blue) birthday cake, apple pie, cranberrys & walnuts, and a hot fudge sundae. You know generally I have good things to say about Braums. The store is clean and staff are usually friendly. My complaint this time fail in the fact that. My wife and I went through the drive through places our order pulled up and paid. So far all is well, so we pull forward they had us out our drinks, and she notices a distinct bleach smell. It's on her her hands but we can't figure out where it's coming from. Evidently they had just wiped down something in the store using bleach because it was in the bottoms of our cups. I had already placed my cup on my leg to get a better grip on it and now I have ruined a pair of jeans with a big bleach ring because of it. Smh.... read more

The shakes were all melted and tasted nasty and the cheeseburgers were disgusting. Flies were everywhere. My kids, wife & I couldn't even finish the meal it tasted so nasty we threw everything in the trash and left will not eat here again. read more

Love to stop at the Gainesville Braum's for biscuits in the morning. They are sooooo good. Especially when they are smothered in their real butter! The sausage biscuits are just slightly spicy, also a winner! My husband loves the egg and sausage biscuit. Great price too. The drive thru is usually full, walk in for quick service . read more

While visiting Texas, we noticed quite a few Braum's Ice Cream stores. We were staying at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Gainesville and decided to drop by here after dinner for a little treat. We tried out the Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and the chocolate. The ice creams were very good! Nice and milky, just how I like it! The grocery section has great dairy item, and I'm a big fan of the burgers and shakes. The ice cream is very good and Braum's makes the best limeades on earth. The crowds are a combo of the very young and very old, so you've got both of those sets of difficulties going on at the same time. I don't super love eating inside because it's just kind of ugly, but the drive-through is good. I'd definitely recommend going here for a burger, fries, and a limeade over any of the fast food places nearby. Just be careful in the parking lot around the ultra slow and ultra fast customers! read more

I was so disappointed in this Braums. We stopped for breakfast, the bathrooms had no paper towels and were not clean. We ordered our breakfast, the server seemed bothered by us taking her time away from visiting. There was no coffee in the urn. Oh yea, did I mention it was about 9:15AM?! She had to get coffee from the drive thru. There was no creamer. We had to ask another server to get us some. Our food was just ok. My big country fried steak was pink and mushy. Not sure why because it was frozen from a box. Not even really hot just kinda warm. We used to stop by there on our way to Oklahoma on a regular basis for lunch but I do believe today was my last stop for the Braums in Gainesville. read more

I will go on the record that Braum's chocolate shakes are THE BEST. However, the crew at the Braum's in Gainesville Texas need a lesson on how to make a real Braum's shake. They are very inconsistent with their thickness. They are either so thin that it's like drinking chocolate milk or so thick that I have to wait for it to melt some before I even get a taste. Very disappointing either way. Today was the worst though! I decided to treat myself to a shake instead of eating lunch. First thing a rude woman almost hit my car trying to get to the drive thru before me (not Braum's fault at all) then I got the shake and went back to my office not thinking anything would be wrong, it looked like chocolate. I noticed right off it was very thin but when I got a taste I did not taste the delicious Braum's chocolate ice cream. Nope, I tasted banana! I got a chocolate banana shake!! To each his own but this is disgusting!! I called the store to let them know that I am not a happy customer at this point in time. Of course they said they will remake the shake for me but I have to wait until I get off work. No lunch....no shake....AND I'm still tasting banana. Did I mention that I love bananas but they give me awful indigestion so I will be enjoying this little taste of banana for the rest of the afternoon.
