This location has the slowest service in the state. I ordered a Flat White with roughly 5 orders ahead of mine. After waiting 17 minutes and they had no started my drink I asked for a refund. They refunded me for the drink but not the tip I had included. Will never return to this location. Bad management. read more

I came here on Veterans Day for my free coffee. I was waited on by Ann Katherine. She was friendly, efficient and did a great job preparing my beverage. She thanked us for our service and made my visit pleasurable. I didn't get her name when we first came but the contact stayed on my mind enough that I went back because I felt her excellent customer service needed to get applauded. Even though she was helping them from another store she is a great asset to Starbucks. read more

Recent visit to location revealed no in-store service. To be fair, location is not listed as in-store service IF researching website prior to visit. I found this out post-visit as I was looking for contact to lodge a complaint. After taking the time to exit I-65 to access location, I found the access to the store problematic due to the many cars in-line near an open intersection with inbound traffic exiting off of Odum Road. Found a parking spot near store entry door which had an older hand-written note that no-in store service was available. Wishing for luck, I went inside and was tersely told the same, so I left accordingly. Recommendations: 1. Avoid current location unless you have plenty of time to wait/waste in line. 2. Management look at relocating to a location more conducive to attracting customers who can safely access the drive-thru for ordering/pick-up and access parking (included handicap) for in-store customers. 3. My daughter loves Starbucks. She often receives gift cards for birthdays, Christmas, etc. She recently saw a new drink on Tik Tok and wanted to try it. My daughter had a gift card, so we headed to Starbucks. She ordered a tall Pink Drink and the total was $4.46. As you can see from the picture, the drink isn't "tall" at all. In fact, it was very small for the price. Too small in my opinion. Nonetheless, my daughter enjoyed the drink and the service was good as usual. read more

Stopped by for a quick coffee while passing through. Had to wait a few as the person taking orders had spilled something in the back. He came after they yelled for him, he took our order but was not friendly actually quite grumpy. The mocha was alright and the americana was suppose to have splenda packets separate but they put them in. I think they were having a rough day. read more

Congested. That about sums it up here. But when ya need a Starbucks fix it's what you have to deal with. Drive thru line is not ideal as it gets busy and disrupts the inflow of traffic to the shop center. The staff does the best it can....but maybe go up a few exits for quicker service read more

Today my friend and I stopped at this Starbucks and we had a wonderful experience with 2 amazing baristas Shae and Samantha. They were so sweet, patient with us both. My friend and I are very picky with our drinks. Shae talked to me about ideas because I'm so tired. She made me my drink and I didn't like it. She was just amazing. Not mad. Totally kind and sweet about me wanting a different drink. Samantha was very understanding with all the extra stuff my friend always asks for. Extra ice, bigger cup, a water and so on...if you have a chance stop in to this Starbucks. They are so welcoming. Thank you Shae for being so welcoming and kind. Gardendale needed a Starbucks, and this building is still relatively new I believe. It's really nice and aesthetically pleasing. A great place to hang out with friends, study, or get some work done. During covid, this location's drive thru, order ahead, and order inside features are available. You just can't stay here long. I ordered a double chocolate chunk brownie for me and a pupacinno for my dog. My dog loved her pupacinno, but my brownie was just average. The employees here were very nice, but they were a bit later with my mobile order so I did have to wait even with no one in front of me. read more

Starbucks has the best caramel frappe! Whenever I go, that's all I purchase. I also enjoy the cheese danish and blueberry muffins. The line is always long in the drive through, especially in the morning, so if you're in a rush go inside to order. read more

The service is always slow here but you eventually get around to the window for your order. They were out of the caramel ribbon crunch frappe but the espresso frappe with a shot of brown sugar syrup is FANTASTIC! Always seem to have friendly employees. read more

I'm new to this area and this is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. They are never friendly, never say hello, and I showed up today with the bottom of a cup on top of my other cup. When asking for a new lid and a cup holder Preston was extremely rude and sarcastic. Moving slower than normal as I told him I did not have time to have him remake a drink that I had to go to work. He proceeded doing what he wanted and ignored me. I went to my car to drop off the drinks spilling on myself only to return to get what I needed in the first place. I ordered a iced white mocha with sweet cream foam and Mocha after waiting 30 mins in line I was told they couldn't add mocha to the foam because one of their customers has allergies to strawberry's not sure what strawberry's and mocha has to do with anything. But the man at the window started telling me why they couldn't do it again after making the drink and I said no just give me the drink I don't need excuses I need to go to work he got very angry wouldn't hand me the drink put it on the counter for me to pick up and said have a good day and shut the window without giving me the food I ordered so of course I walked in and he yelled some more and said he'd refuse service to me next time I don't even live near here I was over here to work for a friend! Was driving by on my trip home and decided to grab cup of coffee and some guy at drive thru doesn't have customer service experience and when I walked in turns out so does the "manager" it was useless to explain anything to him. I was inside waiting on my drinks a few days ago when I overheard 3 of the workers making highly inappropriate comments about a customer who just came through the drive thru. I was able to catch two of their names, Bree and Sarah. The comments were incredibly rude, and I cannot believe any establishment would allow their workers to behave in such a disgraceful manner. I will make sure to tell all my friends to not use this Starbucks. I would hate for myself or any of my friends to become a target for such rude words. read more
