This location is very convenient and close to me. I have gone there quite often. For sometime now, they keep getting my order wrong. I customize my drink and it seems they make it the regular way. A few times I have had to go back for them to remake my order because it wasn't well blended, they forgot to add something or other. Very disappointed every time I come to this location , they always mess up my order I ordered a cafe latte with cinnamon and 3 raw sugars!! I repeated my order 2 times and they still got it wrong .. They handed my latte to me and I took lid off and there was no cinnamon powder I showed it to staff and she put cinnamon on top. I get home and try and drink coffee and of course they did not add any sugar, I call this location and they had a nerve to tell me very nasty to drive back and go into location and get my own sugar and did not even care , I had it with this location, if I can give no stars that what they deserve read more

My friend and I got a drive thru mobile order and they got one of the drinks wrong (hot instead of iced). This was completely fine by us, no rush, we had also said we needed straws for our drinks- but were asked to wait for the new drink and straws around the front of the store. Also entirely fair! When the drink was brought out to us, my friend very kindly reminded the worker that we had asked for straws. She went back inside and came out with a handful of straws of both sizes (which was honestly really sweet). The only issue? This Starbucks has really gone down hill since my last review. Their drive thru takes literally FOREVER. We just ordered our drinks on the drive thru line, and waited 30 minutes to get to the front when there were only 3 cars in front of us. Absolutely unacceptable. Waited 40 minutes for our food!!!Seriously?! Overheard staff that it takes a while to heat up the food. At this Starbucks I once watched one employee take on a monster, ten person deep line, while two fellow comrades dodged any interaction whatsoever. One walked/shuffled from the backroom to the espresso machine, each time with a bunch of bananas, while the other, I swear, took two stacks of napkins and repeatedly stacked, and then restacked them. No shit. Two columns of napkins were moved repeatedly from the girls right to her left, and then back again. Repeatedly. I saw it all from the drive thru window. The two skulky work shirkers were flat out doing all they could to avoid making any eye contact with the customers. All the while the one girl was doing all she could to serve the shitty long island ass wipes before her. Ha! Billy Joel sucks! Anyway, what moved me to pen this review is a single barista named Rick. Or was it Ricky. I frequent coffee places a lot in my travels. When I make a few runs to a particular spot, the good ones tend to pop out from the gloomy deadbeats that suck the souls of their superior cohorts. Rick is one of the better ones. He is on top of my somewhat tricky, wholly obnoxious, preferred beverage. I appreciate the attention he puts into his craft. I'm shouting him out here since I can't decipher which mopey twenty-something corporate stooge is the "manager" to whom old Rick should be lauded. Starbucks is everywhere. The quality is pretty standard whenever you go, but this is my regular Starbucks and I love it. I hit up the drive thru pretty much everyday and they know my order by heart so it's always quick and efficient. The employees are friendly (especially Ricky!) and their service is pretty on point for a constantly busy Starbucks. I very much enjoy this Starbucks. The staff is incredibly friendly and the space is open. It's a nice place to relax or get some work done. My main complaint is with some of the customers, especially those with small children. Too often, the parents of small children who come here do not supervise their children. Also too often, they allow their children to run around undisciplined. This is a place where people are walking around with scalding hot coffee. God forbid a small child gets something spilled on him or her and sustain a serious injury. I have no objection to people bringing their children here. None. But this isn't a playground. Do not let them run around like it is a playground. read more

Lovely baristas & service at this location but the drive-thru setup can be mad confusing. A Karen BLASTED me at around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday Feb 14 because she thought that I was cutting in front of her in line. Going all psychotic, screaming at me, and honking behind me. What happened was basically Starbucks shares the same building with a bank/ATM thus there are technically 2 drive-thrus but they share a single road. Normally this is pretty straightforward, but the lines for either establishment converge with the other. I.e., if you want to go to Starbucks you wait first on the right side of the road but then you have to cross to the LEFT side because that's where the kiosk for Starbucks is. Reverse is true for the ATM, the line starts on the left side but then you have to switch over to the right side of the same road to exit which is mad confusing because it criss-crosses with the Starbucks line at one point. I'm not from the Glen Cove area at all so I didn't know any of this. I've also never been to a drive-thru Starbucks that didn't have their own building before. On top of that, it was that female customer's fault too because even though there was space next to the Starbucks speaker, where you place your order, she was clearly distracted and didn't pull up when the car in front moved up and instead had planted herself on the right side of the road, a little bit past where the ATM was. But how "convenient" that she suddenly noticed there was space when I pulled straight up next to the speaker. For all I knew, she could've just hit up the ATM and had been counting her money before she was gonna exit since, again, ATM users exit by going on the right side and bypassing the Starbucks line. Since I was the bigger person, I obviously left the line to circle back around but I didn't appreciate the incredibly aggressive tone she used with me, especially when I was trying to explain that it was my first time, I had made a simple mistake, and that no one was trying to steal her precious spot in line. All she wanted to do was yell over me and refuse to hear a single word about what I had to say. Left an incredibly bad taste but I do appreciate how quick & friendly the baristas were. read more

I come to this Starbucks every single morning, and sometimes even for an afternoon pick me up. Everyone is so sweet and friendly all the time, and the drive thru line always moves quickly. During busy hours parking can be tough so I usually order on my phone and park a little down the street. Mobile ordering is always ready within 5 minutes! But almost all other workers just look super annoyed, more interested in conversing with each other and forgetting what you ordered half a minute ago. A great place to visit if you have 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee. This is the most understaffed Starbucks, and maybe just plain store, in the world. The drive-through gets priority, which sucks when you're inside, but in fact you're likely to wait a long time outside, too. Yes, Ricky is great - friendly and efficient. And some of the other people, too. But they have one person making drinks and at least two taking orders, and that lead to a back-up. This store has high enough volume that they should have two people making drinks, at least at peak time. The drive-up window isn't convenient at all - they should have a car wash or something while you wait. read more

This place does a half way decent job with the coffee but every time I go in there I get the sense that the staff is annoyed that they have to wait on another customer. I understand the feeling because if I had that job, I'd hope for a natural disaster. Nonetheless, during my last visit the cashier burped loudly while handing me change and then she just laughed looked at a cup on the counter and yelled out, "eww...what's in this cup?" wow a starbucks that actually has a drive thru, now i seen it all, the long island dip sticks snobs are really lazy to get out of the car and go in, please get me back to white plains. now before i go inside to this starbucks in glen cove on glen cove rd i must admit the drive thru menu is simply laid out with all the beverages, pastries and breakfast and lunch offerings. inside it has decent room with stuff for sale to the right and past that is the glass counter display with pastries, sandwiches and other treats with some having their own high stand display. the place is clean and organize and lines move swiftly . a few tables to sit and enjoy your venti latte and suck up the free wifi. damn alot of action via the drive thru and less inside, but i hate crowds so its a win for me while i enjoy an egg crossiant with some good oatmeal and a decaff cappy all was fine in my book however the drive thru slows up things a bit( lazy long islanders). overall a good starbucks with good selection and service with prices that are about right for the area and with free parking and wifi for the tight wads. read more
