During the pandemic this particular Starbucks was the rockstar of Starbucks. However it's really bad lately. This is my third visit in a row where I'm leaving unimpressed. Everything from paying for an item only to be told they were out. A hot drink slightly warmer than tepid. The future me won't be visiting here again or at least after a long pause. There's a Starbucks just over the mountain that is a little inconvenient to drive to, but I'm satisfied when I leave. read more

Pros: looks nice inside. Staff seems nice enough. Cons: everything else. Always closed. Never can get drinks right. They're 0/2 with my past orders. The first one they missed a drink and the second time they gave me the completely wrong drink. Updating my review in light of the pandemic: If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Throughout 2020 and now into 2021, this location and the management especially, have been a disaster. Their ability to keep employees just amplifies the amount of issues they have. The customer base has been lied to repeatedly as to why this location is ALWAYS CLOSED or closing at 3pm and never open in the morning when people actually want and need their morning coffee. Being told they were replacing equipment, being told the store was undergoing renovations, being told they're short staffed, being told the new employees aren't trained, being told the management is undergoing a change. The list goes on and on. If this location is permanently closed, I would say they earned it. Warren is a bit better but not by a whole lot. I'd give that location 3 stars for being open, being open past 3pm, and the fact they take care of my family members. Either way the Green Brook Starbucks was a nightmare, it's no wonder they're closed. I doubt they will reopen in December 2031. read more

I came to Starbucks at 6:55 when they were suppose to be open the drive through was closed but when me & another customer tried to go in but the doors were locked with 3 employees inside so to take the drive to go & not be open is definitely disappointing read more

Hey love Starbucks however the lines may be sometime kinda long. Starbucks is here to stay for a long time. My favorite is the the Honey Citrus Mint Tea. Thats the only drink I get. I recently tried the smoky bacon breakfast sandwich was very good as well. Nice flaky roll and tasted very fresh. But i will tell you that the chocolate chip cookies are 100% the best and softest cookies I've ever tasted. I truly don't plan on stopping my Starbucks visits anytime soon unless I just don't have time for the line!!! read more

Typical Starbucks when they are open. It's been here a bit. I was excited as it is near the house but they tend to close early or not open at all. Order ahead is spotty at best. When it is open do yourself a favor and don't park in front of the store. The drive through line gets so long you can't back out. Space inside the coffee shop is spacious and they also have outdoor seating like other Starbucks locations. The service was quick and courteous. Did not have any complaints. Solid location. Worst Starbucks in the area. severely low staffed, constantly made to wait 10-15 minutes for a simple order, drive through takes forever to get through because they prioritize to go orders over the customers currently in line, drinks consistently not made right- just everything about this Starbucks is terrible. you're better off going up the mountain to the warren location where you'll be satisfied with the product and customer service. Needless to say the worth ethic of some of the employees at the green brook location is horrendous. I came into the store, stood at the counter for 3 minutes while making eye contact with employees before anyone said anything to me. no "hi", "hello", "I'll be right with you ma'am", nothing- just "what do you want?" literally just like that. spare yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. I continue to go because it's the closest to where I live but after they completely butchered my order today after the 10th instance of doing so I refuse to waste anymore money there read more

I typically enjoy this location. However, my mother's interaction with staff was not up to our standards let alone common human decency. I'm a newly breastfeeding mother. My mom was nice enough to pick my up a Iced Venti Matcha Green Tea latte with coconut milk around 12:30 on 2/5/23 My mom said they must've confused it with hers and made it hot. She asked for them to adjust. My mom said this woman making the drinks gave her the rudest look like it was an inconvenience to adjust! My mom saw the regular milk next to the drink she was preparing and couldn't tell if she added coconut milk. She handed the drink rudely to my mom. My mom was so upset she called me and asked me if I could tell the difference in the milk. When she got here and I tried it. It tasted like a ton of matcha. Long story short the rest of the day, my stomach was bloated and today (the next day) I've been in the bathroom all day. My son who is feeding off of me, also has diarrea. So as someone who drives to this location all the time since it's convenient to drive up with the baby. I'll not be returning. To top it off, I have a flight tomorrow and now I'm sick because of a nasty employee that Starbucks has hired as a reflection of your company. All Starbucks are the same, imo. What makes the difference is the service and the cleanliness. Staff was incredibly nice and eager to help. Applause for that. But with all the staff around, the place could've been tidier, esp. the restroom. This Starbucks is above average to me. read more

What's the deal with this place, it's closed every other week. And on top of that when they are open it's only till 3pm?! Using the mobile app is hit or miss, they are disorganized and slow. New and/or promotional items don't last. And finally the worst part about visiting this location is the drive through set up, they move so slow that when cars back up the line circles around the building making it near impossible to park and go inside. I've opted towards the drive thru on the note that I don't want to be blocked in if I choose to go inside. Often the inside isn't even open. I LOVE this Starbucks sooo much !! Not only is it very close to my house and my job which is a plus but the service and quality of the drinks are spectacular I don't think they've ever made a drink bad. Especially during this time right now the drive thru line does get long where it's out the parking lot, but I have no problem waiting in it. They have a routine to get you in an out so your not in the line for a while. If you don't feel like waiting you can still do a order pick up which you walk in and right out. My favorite person there is Sarah! Whenever I go, which is like everyday she greets me so nicely at the drive thru window and with all the waiting you've done in line she asks you how you are. I was so excited about this location opening! The drive thru is a plus as is the outdoor seating. It sits on the side of the building surrounded by trees giving you a relaxing atmosphere. The speed of the staff has increased and are adjusting to the increased business. They make a fabulous Flat White and the Reserve line and Clover machine is a plus! The friendly staff keeps you coming back. It has become my favorite spot for a quick cup of joe or a great place to relax when I have some extra time! read more

The parking lot could have been thought out a little better. The drive-thru gets so backed up that it wraps around into the parking lot itself. It's pretty narrow so the line ends up blocking in cars that are trying to leave. During busy times this gets slightly ridiculous and leaves everyone frustrated. I've spent over 20 minutes waiting in the drive-thru line just so I don't have to worry about getting blocked in if I go inside. I know it's busy and I don't blame the staff. They work hard and they're always so friendly and deliver quality products so that's the reason for the three stars. Management either needs to schedule more people to keep the line down or expand the parking lot. read more

Nice starbucks that opens early and closes late! It is spacious inside and they have outdoor seating, which is great on those warm spring days! The staff was very nice and friendly. WORKERS ARE RUDE AND NOT UNDERSTANDABLE. me and my friends decided to go to the green brook starbucks one morning. we have been here before but the service this time was absolutely terrible. it was going great until the drinks were called out. my friends got their exact order except me. it was the right drink, but the wrong size. they gave me a tall when i asked for a venti. of course it could have just been a mix up but i didn't understand how since it was not packed at all and the drive thru barely had any people in it. also may i add, i waited much longer than my friends had to and people that ordered drinks after me were getting their drinks before i did!! after a few minutes of deciding whether to go back up to tell them that the sizing was wrong, due to my anxiety, i finally went up. i was asking for assistance and saying my words loud and clearly enough for a worker to catch notice, but it took me 3 times until someone asked what problem i had. i was nice and respectful and told this lady that just the sizing was wrong. she rolled her eyes at me held out her hand, and said "give me the drink!!!" with this disgusted and duh look on her face. i felt uncomfortable after this moment. she took the lid off and put the tall into a venti and filled the rest up with ice. i also realized that she leaned her face way to close to my cup for my comfort and i was scared that she probably spit in it. i got the same amount of drink with just more ice in it. i was beyond shocked to see that this is how they treated their customers. i walked out of the door and instantly threw that cup away. read more

Had a very negative experience at the GreenBrook location, with a barista with the initial K who treated me in a very condescending manner, when the original order was incorrect,....most of the baristas in Starbucks are courteous and professional, not this one.....the coffee and food are still very good. read more

Drive thru always slow. Today had a word written on my cup that was rude and uncalled for. Done.

This location uses Tuscan milk and you can taste the difference in the hot chocolate. Other locations use the Crowley milk from Binghamton and it is, well, from Binghamton. The only reason Crowley is even in NJ is because of the food distribution from Maines another Binghamton local. This location also has the Stubucks Reserve Coffees that are made in the special Clover machine. I am told this is the coffee for coffee snobs. It looks good. read more

Service is super slow here. I usually have good luck at 7:30am placing a mobile order. I live about 3 minutes away so I place the order from my driveway, and by the time I get there my drink is ready. A few times I have had to wait after I get there. Any other time, whether placing a mobile order or in person, the service is so slow. I don't know what their method is, but the wait time for your drink is ridiculous. I have literally seen a busy afternoon where one person was on register, one on drive-thru, and one making drinks. Two other employees were doing other stuff like taking out the garbage or something. If you're busy, I would think you would want all hands on deck making drinks for people. The employees don't seem to move with any sense of urgency whatsoever. Been enjoying the Starbucks here in town...grateful they added it! There were kinks in the beginning (like anything in life) but I think they ironed everything out now. The inside is small and can get crowded at times, but can be cozy when no one else is around. Good for small groupings of two- three people. Nice patio outside for the nice weather. The drive-thru is a perk, especially in the morning. It has peak times when it's pretty hectic, but it moves quickly. The parking lot is a little bit off in layout, but has ample parking. Make sure you stop at the stop signs and look twice (after you're done with drive-thru and when you exit the lot). Always great coffee and tea! read more
