If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! This place serves fresh, hot donuts among other items. I've personally only had a variety of their donuts, and I can say they're the best donuts I've had recently. They can be a bit pricey, but I guess you're paying for quality, so it makes up for it. They offer boxes with different counts, or you can buy a single if that's what you desire. They fry the donuts fresh per order. Great quick service! As you can see in the picture i couldn't even wait to eat one! 10/10 recommend!

Was in the mood for doughnuts and husband found this place. Can't believe I never heard of this place before. I was able to make my own doughnut flavor combo, and loved it. We also got the Chocolate Oreo and Pina Colada doughnuts and I was surprised that it was made there on the spot. Everything was so warm and fresh. Will go back again! Service was nice too...a lot of patience with my decision making...hehe

Super friendly cashier and great flavor selection. If you eat these donuts warm they are 100% five-star worthy. They were so freaking good. We didn't finish ours in the first sitting and when we went back in for another few bites about 2 hours later, they didn't hit the same. Definitely should be eaten fresh. As for the flavors, we really liked the Blueberry Pancake and the Cookie Butter. Would for sure recommend this place and would return.

I love this place! Their donuts are next level. Customers can watch the staff making fresh donuts behind the counter. It doesn't get fresher than this! After eating donuts here, I don't even enjoy donuts from most other places. The staff here is really nice too. Also the coffee is great and the self serve milk/creamer is in a mini fridge, which I think is much safer than milk that's just sitting in a tray of ice. The store is clean and inviting.

Family in the area has been saying I need to try this when I visit and we finally made it over there. The shop is in a strip mall along route 22 on the eastbound side. When you walk in it is bright and cheerful. I like the concept of designing your own donut. You start with a freshly made plain donut, then choose what type of coating you would like from types like glazed, vanilla icing, cinnamon sugar and much more. Then pick a topping like Oreo cookie crumbles, sprinkles, chopped bacon among other options and top it off with a drizzle. But if that's too much for you, they have favorite predesigned donuts. And you can just choose what flavor combo sounds delicious to you. You don't have to get too many. They are very flavorful and very filling. I also tried a breakfast sandwich, bacon, egg and cheese in a bagel and it was quite tasty. The staff was polite and helpful and we got our items pretty fast.

The smell emanating from the box on the drive home almost made me pull over and eat one in the car. The wait was worth it, next to a glass of cold milk the Chocolate Explosion looked almost too good to eat (almost). I ate it, and I loved every bite of the fluffy still warm plain donut that acted as the perfect food pillow for the figurative explosion of chocolate flavor due to the toppings of chocolate icing, Oreo crumbles and then hot fudge drizzle. A perfect afternoon snack!

TLDR: must try the maple bacon donut! So many seasonal flavors! Freshly made donuts to order! Duck Donuts is easily one of my favorite donut places of all time! I came in to get just one maple bacon donut but when I saw all of the other flavors on the menu I got too excited and bought a half dozen for myself. While the donuts were fresh and warm I took 1/6 of each flavor and built a frankendonut. It was delicious! All the flavors: - maple bacon: my number one pick! Perfectly sweet maple glaze with crispy bacon on top. The cake donut base was also perfectly airy and moist to me - apple pie: classic apple pie filling in the center. Sweet and cinnamony - pumpkin streusel: love the added crunch from the streusel. I love pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffin so this donut fit right in with my other fave pumpkin treats - blueberry pancake: I love a pumpkin pancake so I was curious to try it in donut form. I loved it. The blueberry flavor was just right! - s'mores: I really wanted to love this donut because I love eating s'mores but the chocolate and marshmallow icing on the donut was a bit too sweet for me - cookies and cream: love the crunchy cookie bits! Again the chocolate icing was a bit too sweet for me but I wouldn't have the donut any other way! I've been back here many times to bring some treats back to my family, friends and coworkers!

I mean how can you go wrong with hot and fresh doughnuts? My favorite place to get them, I make sure to go everytime I'm in this area, maple bacon is my favorite (obvs) service is always nice, I'd try to go early to get a fresh batch

Where has this place been all my life!?!?!!! Noticed this was on the way to an errand and made it a friend meet up. There was only one person working upon entering the space but everything occurred really quickly. I ordered a 1/2 dozen of the signature donuts because I'm basic and would not have gotten creative. I knew they said the donuts were warm but THEY ARE WARM! I was so exited to grab my box. The presentation was great and the taste was even better. They are smaller than what I expected but turned out to be the perfect size. I ate 4 of the 6 in one day and I'm not all the way ashamed about it. They are taking a lot of measures to respond to COVID-19 which I appreciate. In the future I would order in advance but for my 1st, I wanted to have the experience.

4.5!! First time here and my gosh, REMARKABLE. The dough of the donut is delectable. Everything added on top is just extra. Went in the afternoon, was empty. I got the PB donut, Smores donut & a custom vanilla glaze, rainbow sprinkles with marshmallow glaze. The others are the ones my friend got (which also tasted good, just sweet). Really solid donuts, no complaints! Can't go wrong with customizable AMAZING quality donuts!

Truly incredible that for the same price as other donut shops, you get a made to order, made from scratch, FRESH donut. A hot, fluffy, melt in your mouth donut is the closest you can come to tasting heavens; yes, this Duck Donut will give you wings Now, everyone's tastes are different (which makes Duck Donuts truly special because the degree of customization is almost incalculable). HOWEVER, I would highly recommend starting off with something simpler. I had a completely PLAIN donut and it was AMAZING. Honestly, a plain donut with maybe just a drizzle of honey or dusting of cinnamon would be enough to leave me happy. Then again, there really is something to be said about hot, ooey gooey icing. The "Sunrise" with its tangy raspberry stripes was way better than iced options from other donut shops. Once a donut has been sitting around for hours, it loses flavors and the sugar gets to be too much. I never felt like gagging while eating Duck Donuts; honestly, I feel like Duck Donuts is redeeming the tarnished name of donuts. No longer are they the gross, greasy guilt trap they used to be. Duck Donuts has elevated the donut to a dessert on the same plane as macaroons and cheesecake. I can't imagine myself ever eating a donut again if it's not from Duck Donuts

Finally got the chance to try this place last weekend and i was not disappointed. I'm not the biggest donut fan nor have the sweetest tooth but I loved my donuts. Everything is customizable, so you can get the donuts plain or decked out with the works. I bough 1/2 a dozen ( 1 is never enough ) and the cashier was so helpful with helping me choose what toppings to add to my donut. I ended up choosing the 6 most popular donuts and I loved them all. The lemon icing one was especially delicious. The price was also reasonable. I saved the ones I didn't eat in the fridge for a couple of days and just warmed them up in the microwave when I was ready to eat them. I can't wait to try the location closest to me.

Khanh N.

Delicious would be an understatement for Duck Donuts. It was my first time there and I literally cannot choose just six for my half a dozen. They had a variety of flavors you can pick from or you can crate your own. The choices were endless and I love places like this. I would never get bored because I tend to float around and try most flavors. They came out pipping hot because they are made as ordered. I kid you not, my box had heat coming out of it. I could not wait so I had popped one in once I had gotten into my car. The flavors were really good and I should've gotten some coffee to go along with these delectable treats. I would def come again!

Ask the Community - Duck Donuts

What is the best donut flavor here?

You can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Especially since you can create your own topping combinations. I'm big on cookies and creme in general so I enjoyed that donut.

New to the area but we've been invited to two birthday parties where they purchased the birthday…read morecake from here. One of my kids' birthdays is coming up so I decided to keep that going. I haven't tried too many cakes in the area so I can't truly compare to give it a full 5 star rating BUT the comments I hear a lot of is they use fresh fruit in their cakes. I usually get birthday cakes from Asian bakeries where fresh fruit is expected so that was an interesting comment to make from my POV. The fruit birthday cakes I've had from here are pretty good. Not too sweet and the most interesting fruit fillings I've had in cake - banana! Among other fruits. The cake isn't as light/airy as I'm used to but not bad at all. The buttercream is on the sweeter side for me but okay if you eat it with the cake and don't leave it until the end. It's not a terribly thick layer. But the cakes were super colorful and it's a lot of food coloring with how saturated the colors are. Your mouth and tongue will be stained if you're not careful. Having said that, I ordered an Oreo cake because that's why my kid wants. BUT I did request that instead of buttercream on the outside, it'll be whipped cream. Still buttercream on the inside though. I'll update this review after the party as it hasn't happened yet. This is a shop that sort of takes you back when you walk in. It's located in a corner shopping center of sorts and they have a shared parking lot so no need to hunt for parking. It has a nostalgic feel with display cases along much of the length, refrigerated sections for drinks (some were Asian which surprised me) and ice cream cake. Plus a wall of candles and birthday cake decorations because they do take a lot of orders for special occasions. No extra frills and nothing for decor's sake. There was a steady line when I went on Sunday morning. Two doors, one designed to be the entrance and the other the exit (but there isn't a police so use whichever door, but the line starts at the entrance door). As you walk up to the counter, someone will help you out. They've got all sorts of things from pastries to cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cannoli's, pies... even a tres leches section that was woefully empty. The only thing is for some odd reason, there are signs of what the items were, but absolutely no prices were posted in the display cases. At least none that I was aware of. I was passed onto the manager to take my order. It took a little time because I'm pretty sure she also decorates cakes and some people were waiting on them but I eventually got my order in. A 9" Oreo cake (for up to 16 people) with whipped cream exterior and birthday message is about $75. I added on a tres leches on a whim - they sold out early but a new batch just finished so I got one straight from the kitchen - was roughly $10. Receipts are old school, orders taken on a paper pad with a carbon copy given to you. I've had a number of tres leches cakes before and this is one of a kind! Deliciously moist, whipped topping - and the cake is halved. In between, they put fruit in there! Plus a maraschino cherry on top and cinnamon dusted over it. It was nowhere near "too sweet" and I rather enjoyed it. A lot. In fact, I'm thinking of calling in to see if I can get some for the party for the adults. My picky daughter loved it. Overall, I have a pretty good impression of this bakery and I'm looking to trying more items over time.

I seriously love this place, they have the best pies/cakes. We love their cheesecakes, Sweet Potato…read more pies, cupcakes and Key Lime Pies. I also love that most of the pies come in large, or mini sizes. Recently ordered the Banana Cream Pie for my family and it was a hit! The owner's daughters run it and they are the nicest people ever.

I hear it can…read moreget crowded on the weekends, but on Thursday when we arrived a little before noon, it wasn't bad. They had a steady stream of newcomers but not too crowded. It was fairly easy to find though going there, my map told me to go down a treacherous gravel road which I wasn't terribly fond of. They have a moderately sized parking lot and you'll see this large, red barn. That's where you get your goodies (there's often a line) and where their store is. We stopped by for a treat first. They sell ice cream, cider floats, and what is a "TikTok famous" coffee float with donut. We got: Cider ($4) - I didn't actually drink this. I got it for my kid with food allergies. He wanted ice cream but they do not know if the ice cream they use contains eggs or not so we played it safe. My kid thought it was okay but finally finished it later. He typically prefers regular apple juice. Cider float with donut - you have a choice of no donut for $2 less. It's like a root beer float but with cider instead of root beer, black and orange sprinkles around the time of the cup, whipped cream, and a powdered cider donut over it all. I shared this with my daughter. That donut was delicious! Warm, tender, and crisp on the outside. The drink was great! I do wish it came with a spoon because it got difficult finishing the last of it. Warning: if you have one of these, the bees are coming for you. They use some sort of caramel-like sauce to get the sprinkles to stick. Overall, quite good. Maple cider donut ($3): my sister got this and she said it was amazing, but she said she thought $3 was a bit much (the unglazed donuts are $1.25 each). She's vegan, so didn't partake in the float, but she also wasn't going to ask if there's milk in the donut. If you're getting only donuts, they are purchased in the store. They have tables and chairs nearby for you to picnic and enjoy your treats. Going through the gates, there was a table but they were busy with other people so we walked right in. There is no entrance fee, which was nice. You go through the apple orchard first. It seems like most of the apples have been picked through, though there are a lot of developing apples. Some of the nicer ones were way too tall for us; they don't provide ladders. We only managed to find one that looked nice. At the end, there used to be a sunflower field and the corn maze. It's epic but you don't know how formidable until you're past the point of return and realize it's not a kids maze. We were in there for a while! Even met other kids that thought they'd be lost forever. The corn stalks are taller than a human and they're pretty dense so you can't look over or through them. It's a true maze and I was impressed. I wish they would provide a paper maze puzzle of the corn maze because I'm so curious how it is from above. Lots of dead ends. What I can say is don't lose hope. You'll get there! (When we finally found the exit, it was almost like a dream because we had been staring at corn for so long.) In hindsight, it was good we ate something first. Once done, we explored the sunflowers and saw the pumpkin patch. As we headed out, we went to pay for our lone apple and we discovered THE CORN MAZE IS NOT FREE. It's $10 per adult and $5 per kid. They charged us $1 for the single apple. I guess they work on the honor system? I didn't mind much because that maze clearly took planning. Before we left, we visited the store full of baked goodies. I got a few cider donuts, a dumpling, and a piece of crumb cake because they just brought out a fresh tray. Plus a lattice harvest pie. The pies with crumble aren't vegan, but the lattice pies are made of vegetable shortening. Restrooms! They have a row of port-a-potties by the parking lot. They're actually the cleanest ones I've been to before. No sinks but they do have a dispenser of antibacterial hand gel. The openings are a bit large so if your kid needs to use the toilets, hold onto them. Overall, it was quite enjoyable and I definitely think everyone should go through a corn maze of this caliber at least once in their life. The apple pickings were sparse but at least you get delicious floats and donuts! Note: they have gluten free goodies in the store but they are nut based (almond flour). They also had one gluten free-vegan item.

There wasnt any pumpkin left in the field to pick and the apples were not event there on the trees. So the 2 hour trip was definitely worth the drive. The service was okay the individuals behind the counter to order the Tik Tok drink had a bit of a attitude when I was asking about questions. Just stay patient. Other then that I would highly recommend coming here and trying a piece of all of there different donuts and cookies are soo soo good. There is street parking…read moreand a few parking lots in the area so we just parked at one, wanted about, and also made a stop here. As a nod to the name (Kirshenbaum is German for cherry tree), there are little cherries everywhere inside from signs to wallpaper. Ample seats, natural light, friendly staff, plus delectable treats make this place a good one to stop at. They also serve light bites but as we were sort of hopping from one place to another on a Sunday, I only ordered a few sweet treats. BLACK FOREST: my daughter picked this, likely because she thought it was a chocolate cake. But it was not your average chocolate cake. A good sized slice with moist cake, cherries, and dark chocolate bits throughout, I highly enjoyed this one. It's perfectly sweet - though I admit my daughter finished the exterior layer of frosting so the thin layered in between the cake were ideal for my taste buds. It was a bit too elevated for my daughter who only really wanted your regular chocolate cake. MATCHA CRUFFIN: This is a croissant-muffin filled with matcha cream, rolled in sugar. The laminated dough was packed so not like your airy-but-crispy-exterior croissant, nor was it noticeable buttery, but it did do its job by keeping its shape and the layers helped give its name. It was lovely to pull apart, with a nice, chewy texture. The filling wasn't exactly in the center (I shared this with my husband) so I dipped a little into the filling (borderline reminded me of pastry cream) that my husband got. It's light but also has a very nice matcha flavor that comes through. RASPBERRY LYCHEE PIE: I love pie and I was happy to find a uniquely flavored one here especially since it reminded me of my favorite ice cream flavor in Europe at Haagen Dazs years back (rose raspberry lychee) so I pounced on it. First off, this is definitely a mousse pie. We're vegetarian so a part of me wonders if gelatin was used to make this so I likely won't get this a second time without me asking the necessary questions - but it is good. As with most mousse confections, this is light and delicate in a way. Airy. Still substantial that I didn't feel cheated out of my money but not too filling. Nothing overpowered each other and the flavors and textures worked together beautifully. There were chunks of raspberries but I don't recall actual bits of lychee fruit in there, though you do get the flavor of it in there. I absolutely love the interesting flavors here and the items I got. I especially am a fan of how everything is perfectly sweet. I have a sweet tooth, but only for things that aren't too sweet and this is completely up my alley. They do have gluten free options but nothing extensive. And I'm pretty sure they include eggs. I have a kid with multiple food allergies and he couldn't have anything here so I got him a bottle of apple juice and he was content with it. I'll definitely stop by again to try more items and get a drink to go with. Maybe get my daughter a cookie since I hear they're pretty good.
