I'd rate this location less than one star if I could. Incompetence runs rampant here. I work extremely close to this location, which is why I continue to torture myself giving it try after try. I have never had to complain so much to Starbucks (corporate) to get refunds on drinks made incorrectly, or not at all. If you have less than an hour lunch break, do not even attempt going here. I was unable to get in and out in 30 minutes (on lunch break) with a simple "black coffee" today. Unacceptable. read more

Solid Starbucks location! They make the drinks right, and the lines move pretty quickly. However, it will take a little while to get your drink/food during the morning rush since this location gets pretty packed. Luckily, this location is spacious, and there is plenty of space to wait for your drink. There are a good amount of tables/chairs to sit at or work at. Parking is easy to find since there are plenty of spots in the lot. read more

While I was standing in the slow moving line, the couple that came in and in line behind me said "the Starbucks is larger than the parking lot!" This is a huge store and there is no parking. If you come during peak lunchtime, you will not find a space nearby due to the dense number of restaurants. The young hipster baristas are a little direct and sassy. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks. The little Filipino girl with glasses (I think her name is Bertha?) makes my drink perfect every time, and she is very patient with all my modifications. Usually when I come here, I'm in & out, I don't linger and I definitely don't review. BUT the other day, I had the nicest employee helping me, Jin. She was super sweet and smiley. She didn't even mind when I asked to have my transactions processed separately (this will be the year I get a gold card!). Baristas & cashiers seems to frazzled very easily but she was quick and on point. It just made my day seem to flow seamlessly, if that makes any sense at all... What should have been a semi-stressful day, was much more simple. She even insisted on giving me my receipt to do a survey for a free drink, free drinks are worth the trouble of a survey! read more

I love this location. There isn't a drive thru which is kind of a bummer, but the staff is consistent. They know most of their regulars names, which gives them a big A++ from me. I love that they are chatty with the customers and prompt about everything they serve up. I can get in and out of there in about 7 minutes even is the line is snaked around that's just how great this place is. The establishment is fairly clean as well :) read more

I really love the online option because this location will have the order ready when I get there from my house. They are also great with the random mixes which my husband likes to order.... I'm giving 3 stars. The reason I give this many is because the inside of the store is clean. But their trash can outside was overflowing and trash was on the ground outside. But the reason why I'm reviewing and why so little stars isssss.......(below is a copy/paste of what I just sent Starbucks). I just hate complaining. I really do. This is the 3rd email I have sent to your company in 1 week. I swore I wouldn't go to a particular store again so I didn't. I went to another store which (1st world problem) has no drive-thru so I have to park and go in. I know, tragic. Anyhow, the drink I wanted was a quad grande caramel frappuccino and I asked to have it in 2 grande cups since the last time I went to this particular location I was told that I could not get all of my drink in a Trenta cup. The girl on my last visit gave me my drink in 2 grande cups. Soooo, I thought I would ask for my drink to be in 2 grade cups. There were 3 people at the register when I was trying to order. The main girl said, "we can't give it to you in 2 grande cups". I asked "since when?" She tells me that "technically we have never been able to do that". So I tell her, "well, since my drink is nearly $9 I would like to have all of my drink." She tells me, "you are only paying for what can fit into your grande cup." So, now I am frustrated. Clearly, we have a bit of a communication breakdown. I failed to mention that I've had my drink in Venti and Trenta cups. She failed to offer a solution. I have worked in customer service for years and have had many classes in regards to customer service, actively asking questions and problem solving. It's clear that she, nor the other 2 people at the register with her, have been trained in this field. I let them know that I would not ever come back to this location again. I pay almost $9 for 1 drink. That's a lot for a drink that lasts me about 15 minutes. I understand that this is my problem. I left (the 2nd store I have sworn off in Irving, TX) and went to the other Starbucks in Irving. I placed my order and asked to have all of my drink. To which they said, "of course". I pull up to the window and ask the girl if I could pick her brain. I tell her with the drink I got and the place I had gone to had told me no to 2 grande cups. She informed me that was true. They technically were not supposed to give you 2 grande cups but that there is a specific button on the register to order a grande "In a Venti cup". So, I am now enlightened. I now know that there is a button that can be pushed to give me all of my drink that I ordered and it is allowed. Am I allowed to get all of my drink? The girl at the walk-in location made me feel like I'm not allowed to have all of my drink that I feel like I'm paying for. Had she just offered a solution instead of telling me I only get what fits in a grande cup, I would have be completely satisfied. I feel like some of your locations are lacking in personality and customer service skills. I went to a location this morning (in Cedar Hill, TX) and everyone there was personable and I got my drink within 2 minutes of arriving at the window even with 4 shots of espresso added. I appreciate your company. I appreciate the quality of your products. I really do. And if you raise your prices today AND again next week, I'll STILL be a loyal customer. I'm a gold star member and I spend a lot of money on the things I love. I'm not looking for freebies and hand-outs. I promise I'm not. I walked in at 11:15 and did not leave until 11:45 with a to-go order. They have no method of making drinks in regards to who orders before who. I watched the baristas pick up my empty Carmel Macchiato a number of times, read the label and proceed to put it back down because they obviously didn't feel like making it. They've lost my mobile order more than once. My wait time has been 20+ minutes on many occasions, never less than 8 minutes. While the baristas try their best, this location is not organized or managed effectively. Also no drive through. I've been served much quicker inside nearby grocery stores (Kroger and Target a bit further on MacArthur; Tom Thumb on O'Connor) with no mobile order feature than at this proper Starbucks location. read more

This location is one of the busiest ones so prepare yourselves and bring work emails to tend to or WSJ to catch up on. On another note, thank goodness for online ordering, right? Not in this case! I've been coming to this location for several months now, and not once do I ever get a "good morning", let alone a greeting at all. Aside from the atrocious beginning encounters, you will also often catch an attitudes with the baristas. I made an online order that included a Spinach Savory. I arrive, got my drinks, but was missing the savory. Rather than telling me they ran out, they had me waiting a good 5-10 minutes. I was eventually rudely told I could get in the long line for a refund if I didn't want anything they had available. In this case, don't bother asking what's available because you will then receive an inconvenient eye roll along with a list of a million sandwiches blurted at a million miles an hour. I opted to get an egg white sandwich to avoid having to get in line for a refund for an item they should have plenty in stock of. Not only was my sandwich half cold, the barista remains unapologetic for the inconvenience. Perhaps, she was just having a bad day. We all have them, right? After my visit this morning, it is no longer coincidental that baristas at this Starbucks are having a bad day. I placed another online order. I arrive and the drinks are ready, but again, I'm missing a sandwich (I'm a foodie, I need my food). I asked the barista about it. She asked the queen of all attitudes if she received my order, and of course she didn't. Again, coincidence? Afraid not. Every online order before AND after me was correct. This Starbucks locations is out of control. Very unorganized setup and it always seems to be very crowded. The store is laid out in a way that causes everyone to group up in a small area in front of the restrooms. There are usually about 10 people standing around waiting on their order there and the staff doesn't call out orders loud enough to hear unless you are standing right in front of them. It's just a huge hassle to get coffee here. You are better off just going to a different store. read more

I love Starbucks, but this location is in need of work. I've been coming here almost every morning for about a week. The coffee was good but very warm...room temperature warm. I shouldn't be able to chug my coffee -_-. Aside from the warm coffee, I think some of the employees need to have a smile. Pretty dissapointing service for a Starbucks. 4 ppl working when I came in at 6:30 pm on a Friday. The place was fairly quiet & no one acknowledged me. 2 of the associates continued to move baskets around the store & sweep while I waited to order. After a few minutes one guy said he would be right with me as he headed to the back employee only area. 5 minutes later he returned & helped me but for the other 3 associates working the "stuff" they had to do was more important than helping the waiting customer.
