Thia Starbucks is my local Starbucks and have been going for 11+years. Great staff. Love seeing the longtime staff there. Friendly. Professional store is always clean and well stocked. Newer staff needs and deserves some time to get up to speed. Can't wait until they can reopen after the renovations. I am a loyal Starbucks customer and this location is the worse from my experiences. Bad service and cold coffee. I am a patient and understanding person when it comes to service, but this location was so disorganized. I was the first person and only person to be served and it took at 3 mins. There were 3 baristas, one of which made eye contact with me and didn't do anything, 2 by the drive through window, 1 by the oven. Yet nobody care about the customer that is standing in front of the register. And when I finally got service, I was overcharged and the coffee was wrong. And I still walked out with an u satisfied coffee. I didn't want to bother anymore. I only wanted a blonde with almond milk. How hard is that? read more

This one is just awful. Twice I've been there and both times the same individual handed me my coffee which REEKED of perfume or lotion. An adequate visit. I received my regular coffee in due time at the drive-thru. I was pleased with my product. My wife ordered their monthly special tea, which they were out of. I have to subtract a star for that, as i think a company that markets itself to be a superior product should be more reliable. Service was good. The parking lot is awkward, you have to pull in about 200 yards before the Starbucks, and then drive through two restaurant lots and a hotel parking lot, that is not convenient for a quick coffee. I understand it's probably out of their control, but it's a negative nonetheless. You're dumped off on a section of rt 70 that makes it a ridiculous task to head back east.... read more

I do wish there were more Starbucks in the area so I wouldn't have to drive 4 miles for a decent coffee, but I am grateful this location exists and a huge bonus is that the staff is very friendly. From the moment you drive up to place your order, they are patient in helping you with your questions and you're always greeted with a smile or positive attitude and sometimes you're referred to by your first name when using the pay by app. That's good customer service. It's always very friendly service and attitudes. The coffee and drinks always seem to be spot on... and sometimes turn out better than expected. The baristas inside are awesome at what they do because they help to keep that line moving. Resisted giving 5 stars ONLY because I have to drive past a bunch of Dunkin Donuts in order to get here. I just wish they'd find somewhere between the Sea Girt loc and this loc for those who love closer to Pt Pleasant area. Then you win Starbucks! read more

My favorite Starbucks. I've been pretty much a regular for quite a while. The reason why I come back is mainly due to the wonderful staff and their ability to perfect every drink every day. Most of the time I don't even have to order. The second I come in they start making my drink, and when I am ready to pay my drink is waiting for me at the register. This location is a perfect example of how servers and staff at establishments should treat their customers. They are really friendly and amicable. Recently, I was waiting for my drink and It was taking quite a while. It was pretty busy. but I saw the stress the staff was under so I kept my mouth shut. When I received my drink the server handed me a coupon for a free drink the next time I come in. Most places (not Starbucks) wont give you free drinks, and the ones that do, it is only after you put up a whole fight. Kudos to the staff! Keep on making great drinks! read more

Love Starbucks in general, their food and coffee has me there every single day. This particular location is really disappointing as a whole. The drive thru staff is always rude. They never greet you or say "have a nice day," there are many times I've said "how are you," or said "have a nice day," with no response. One time my total was $11.22 so I wanted to give them a quarter to make it easier to give me change and not need to count out 78 cents. The woman rolled her eyes and her and her coworker are rudely talking about me and looking at me. If you ask for a straw if they don't give you one you would think you're asking for a million bucks, they'll practically throw it at you. So rude and unprofessional. Such a shame. read more

It was a great place, but today we ordered 2 green tea lattes and got disappointed. We love matcha lattes, and this two tasted terrible. I was watching the boy making, first he didn't frothed the milk, the milk was hot but not was missing air, and way too much match, it was dark green and very bitter. I gotta tell you I come here almost everyday to get some sort of steamer or tea (because I can't have coffee) and sometimes even my dinners. The baristas are extremely friendly and the whole atmosphere of the place made me feel very comfortable and welcomed, which is not the usual standard of a chain coffee shop where you feel rushed and as if you're annoying the employees.
