I love Starbucks coffees and will continue to go to other locations, except this one. This has consistently been THE worst Starbucks for years. Other reviewers have already mentioned the issue with this location- the amount of time it takes them to fulfill an order, busy or not, is ridiculously long. I feel comfortable leaving this review because I actually used to work at Starbucks and it was a busier location than this one. Even in a rush, we got orders out on time and the longest someone had to wait was around 10 minutes or so MAX, if we were absolutely packed. Today at this Starbucks, I placed a mobile order at 10:27 AM. I always place mobile orders 20 minutes ahead of time for the Leominster location because that's how long it takes them on average to complete the order even if all I ordered was a coffee. When I walked in, there were at least 20 people waiting inside. At 11 AM, the woman standing next to me finally received her mobile order and she complained about how incredibly long it took. I asked when she placed her order so I knew how much longer it would be until mine would be done. She placed hers at 10:14 AM. I literally left right then without my order and went to the Athol Starbucks. I placed the same mobile order at that location and when I walked in to pick it up, guess what? It was ready and I left. No exaggeration, it took ONE HOUR for the Leominster location to make my latte. ONE. HOUR. This is absolutely unacceptable on every level. The worst part is that this Starbucks has consistently been this slow for years. I have no idea what they are or are not doing but they need to implement more effective/efficient strategies to fulfill customers orders because I know of others who refuse to stop at this one due to the wait time. This place is good :) It's definitely on the pricier side though. The inside is spacious and has lots of seating but the wait can be extremely long. They have a drive thru which is really nice but the wait there can get extremely long too. My personal favorite is the baked goods and strawberry açaí :) I don't really like Starbucks coffee or hot chocolate though. I only like the teas at Starbucks. read more

The employees were rude. Online is says that the store closes at 9, so we arrived at the store at 6:45. We waited in line for thirty minutes and when we finally got to the drive through, they didn't even have the courtesy to say "I'm sorry, we're closed". So we stayed there waiting for someone to say something but no one did. We drove up to the window thinking that's what we were supposed to do, and instead of opening the window and saying that they're closed, they looked at us and ignored us. When we started asking them what was going on, they looked at us and waved their hands under their chins. Basically saying get lost. We understand they were closed, but they could have said something nicely, or updated online where it says they close at 9. read more

Whenever I get the chance while in the area I'll stop in to this location and grab a hot coffee, the staff is always friendly. The location is a bit awkward being right off the highway so it makes it mini adventure to get to it if your traveling somewhere else. Only down side if you go through the drive-thru is the noise from the highway when you order, this doesn't take away from the delicious coffee though.. read more

Pretty standard Starbucks. If you get lucky and get a barista that has been there for a while, can get an excellent coffee. Sometimes hit or miss, especially if the barista is new. A few snacks, cupcakes, yogurts, etc available, as well as the cooked breakfast sandwiches. Free ATT wifi. A couple of comfy plush chairs but mostly standard wooden tables and chairs. 3 outdoor tables. read more

This is a very decent establishment, they serve very well prepared beverages but, when ever I come I always order a grilled cheese but they never seem to have it. I don't really know how they get their food items or if they can change the quantity but, they always say that they only get a few a day and everyone orders them. This Starbucks is one to miss. The store is cramped, the layout is poor, and the service is extremely slow. I came on a Sunday and there was one person in front of me in line. I ordered an iced coffee, black and they put it in queue with about five espresso-based drinks, all coming from the drive-through. I waited about five minutes for it. I'm not sure what these guys have for their standard operating procedure, but in my local Starbucks if you order a black iced coffee they make it right up and give it to you. I love this Starbucks! I think the staff take happy pills because they are always so up beat and friendly. When it's early and I haven't had my coffee yet, miserable staff people are even less tolerable. I usually only order Pike's Place regular coffee, so I can't speak to their other mixed drinks or the Barista's talent for that craft, sorry. But I do order it with half and half and I do have to say that is pretty consistent. Other coffee places can make my coffee almost white or very dark brown depending on the server and here it seems to be pretty consistent in a perfect (for me) medium color. My only complaint is I often will trek across town from Fitchburg at lunch time to have an artisan sandwich and coffee for lunch. The artisan sandwich bread is so warm and soft & delicious. But half the time they have already sold out for the day. It would seem if you continually sell out of an item, perhaps you should increase that day's supply request from whatever central supply warehouse they receive their product from. But it's a minor point and they can't be expected to have a lunch time supply of a morning sandwich but it would be a plus. The rest of the place seems clean with adequate seating. I have met a few clients here in the evening as well and it can get a little crowded, but not to the point where you can't find seating. The bathrooms are usually clean. They also have a standard amount of take home coffee and cup supplies. I've seen more and less at other places and this seems to be middle of the road. read more

My husband is addicted to espresso so I'm here most days after running my a.m. errands. Some days I get a drink for myself. In the past 9 months or so, all of this location's managers have left. Since the new managers have come on board, this location has been consistently messy and the service has been at a snail's pace. They also have been getting my drink order wrong more frequently but, I guess, no longer offer their free drink coupons as a "sorry." I always love coming to this Starbucks because it has a nice atmosphere and everything. I am not a coffee drinker but what I come here for is the Banana chocolate smoothie. I have been very unhappy with it. Sorry for language but it SUCKS!!! I want that sweet tasting banana chocolate smoothie every time I come here and I never get it anymore. Very dissapointed. Starbucks is always a little pricey for me, but it is what is, and if you want a well made Latte or Cappuccino this is the place for it. I never actually been inside this one, but the drive thru is very useful. Orders usually quickly prepared and made and staff usually kind and upbeat. I don't think I have ever had a problem. I agree with the others who have complained about slow service and drinks made incorrectly. They even place a label on the cups when you order at the drive thru and I cannot begin to count the number of times the drink is still made wrong. They do not even read the label to see if there is a specific way the drink should be made and not just the standard way. Honestly, if I were able to give this place zero stars I would. The employees did not let the costumers know that they were closed, VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Online it said they close at 9pm. I have been waiting in the line since 6:43 PM and it is now 7:27 PM. There were no signs saying that they closed at 7 PM. So we waited at the order window for about five minutes and it stated "If you have any trouble with ordering please pull up to the other window." Mind you there were around 5-10 cars behind us waiting in the line, clueless to the fact that they were closed (as we all were). Anyways, we pulled up and they cut us off, they signaled that they were "closed" and never said anything. My mother wanted to let them know to tell the people behind us waiting for the longest time and they didn't even look at us. They were extremely ignorant and disrespectful, what a waste of time. I don't think I ever want to go there ever again. Biggest waste of 45 minutes ever. I don't recommend going over there if you don't want to be treated unkindly. Thank you for your time. read more

I would not recommend going to this Starbucks location. I had been going here on a regular basis, but I'm going to go somewhere else for my coffee break from now on. Most of the people who work here are very nice, but they are inexperienced and young. When there is more than one of them behind the counter, some focus more on personal conversation than customer service and there have been several occasions when they either gave me the wrong drink or simply made it wrong. Moreover, although there is a good amount of open table space to relax or work on my laptop, the tables are rarely clean. read more

I have stopped at this location every morning on my way to work and occasionally on the weekends for the past three years. I only continue to go because it's the only one around. At least once a week, and usually more often all or part of my order is wrong. I order an iced non fat latte in the summer and get someone else's regular coffee with extra cream and sugar, I order a hot vanilla latte and they forget to add the syrup, they have given my the wrong breakfast sandwich about 50 times and if it is the right sandwich it's still frozen on the inside. This morning I ordered a veggie breakfast sandwich and received 3 vanilla scones instead. I had to pull around the drive through and go in to return the wrong item and reorder my sandwich. On all the occasions they have messed up my order and I've had to wait, come back or come inside from the drive through they have never offered me a voucher for a free coffee. I used to previously go the Starbucks in Acton for 5 years and the service was always excellent. They memorized your order, always got it right and if there was an occasional mistake always apologized and offered you a free coffee on your next visit read more
