I've popped in to this Starbucks a couple of times. Both times I had issues. Firstly, their women's room is clean and functional.. so kudos. But, I placed an mobile order for a breakfast sandwich they didn't have in stock and even though I'd grabbed my drink it took them quite a while to address my missing sandwich. They quickly made a substitution, but I ended up not getting credit for the purchase on my mobile app... Yeah don't go here if you want creamer with a splash of coffee. I frequent this Starbucks because it's right across from my work. I came and spent my whole 30 minutes on break just to leave with no drink and not one to offer to fix the botched one I got. The service here was so terrible. There was so much cream in my drink it was basically white. I asked for a splash of ice coffee on the side and even offered to pay for it (not that I should have because an ice coffee should contain ice coffee, not just creamer) and they said it's against store policy but that they could take my drink back. Which she then proceeded to do and add no ice coffee to it looked the exact same as it did before. I went in and asked for a refund and both girls at the counter acted so rude and when I asked for manager they said she was on vacation. I'll call back tho read more

Tinyyyy Starbucks. The parking lot has a decent number of spots but inside, there's only a small handful of tables in half the store, and the other half is a display area of different Starbucks stuff for sale. Kind of a rough use of space. Every table was occupied and there were only a handful of people. This location is in a rough spot too, right off Nicholasville Road near the exits for New Circle Road. Making a left turn out of here (or turning left into here) is a nightmare. Maybe, due to the location, not a lot of people are expected here, hence the small location. Baristas were friendly, my drink was good, no complaints about service. However, there are other cool coffee shops in Lexington (some nearby to this intersection) that probably deserve your patronage more. But if you want the 'Bucks and you're in the area, this is good enough. read more

This is a rather small and otherwise pretty standard SBX. One thing I love is that it opens until midnight on most days. Believe me when I tell you I've spent quite some days here, doing some work until closing time. Baristas are courteous and never rush me out. There are a few tables to sit around. I like to sprawl my books and papers across the wooden communal table. If you can tune out conversions and random spurts of music, this may be a good study spot for you. There's also the option of drive-through if all you want is to pick up your favorite cup of PSL. read more

I think that the convenient, just off New Circle and Nicholasville Road location is what does it for this location. I mean, with at least two other local coffee shops within a couple of minutes from here, I'm surprised that this SB gets as much business. The fact that they have a drive thru and hot breakfast sandwiches helps too. I'm not much of a coffee drinker and this was my second try at the green tea frapachino. This time I asked for vanilla and whipped cream to be added, but it tasted the same as the first time. There was a hint of vegetable or a leafy taste, a hint that I never taste in hot green tea. What is it? Well, I looked it up online and the website says "Our Matcha green tea is infused with subtle hints of tropical fruit flavors." It tastes more like leafy spinach to me. In the meantime, I found out that it was over 450 calories! I won't be doing that again. I'm glad that someone else took charge in the breakfast sandwich ordering, because I would've never chosen the smoked Gouda sandwich, which I ended up highly enjoying. Its gooey warm cheese, went well with the warm bread and the flavors went perfect with the bacon. At 350 calories, it was worth every bit of the calories,the drink in the other hand wasn't. I won't even mention the prices because you know what you're getting into here. I feel bad for everyone who has a Starbucks habit. read more

So I goto Starbucks a lot but this is my first (and last) to this location. They were out of the features caramel cloud macchiato so I opted for a cascara cold foam cold brew. I waited 10 minutes with no one in front of me. They were out of the special cold foam lid that I get the cold foam drinks for and NO CASCARA. I also came into get a light roast espresso beans and again "they're out". I know their staff can't help it but in my opinion, this is on management. read more

Pretty bad location. Very slow and messed up a few orders in front of me. Been waiting 20 minutes so far (still sitting here as I write this) and it's not that busy in the seating area. I'd think maybe a 5 minute wait should be acceptable based on other Starbucks' lead times but the 3 workers behind the counter are struggling to manage this slow flow of business. Maybe they are short-staffed, but everyone who's been here is pissed and have been waiting longer than me. read more

Stopped at this location while in Lexington last weekend. This place was very clean and the staff were super friendly as well. Our groups had coffees and teas all very well made and tasty. I had the coconut milk mocha and it was yummy! I look forward to stopping here often in my travels. read more

As soon as I walked in they took my order, I thought it was going to be a fast trip. Nope, I get they try to fulfill drive thru and online orders first, but the girl made my drink and left it in the blender while making 3 other drinks. A different girl walked up and poured mine into the cup, if the other girl didn't come over who knows how long I'd be there. And it's not that she forgot about my drink she was working right in front of it and would glance up at it. and honestly it taste terrible, it has the watered down taste. read more

Most of the workers here are very kind. The service is fairly quick, but rush hour always expectedly takes a bit longer. However, there is one woman working who is incredibly loud. She yells at her workers if they are doing something wrong or ask a simple question. She also talks to customers very loudly, and it disrupts the atmosphere and customers are clearly agitated. She needs to tone it down. read more

I loved to grab a coffee and study here when I was a grad student at UK! The staff could be friendlier, but they were alright for the most part. I liked how they had the tables set up and people were always sweet to me offering to share their table or help me plug in my laptop. It was easier to come here and study then to drive all the way to UK Library. However, it was always really cold inside and the music was fairly loud. I am a devoted Starbucks espresso drinker. I lived in the Bay area for a long time where Starbucks was seen as the evil stepsister to Peet's. Even there, Starbucks was my choice because of its consistently delicious espresso (lattes in my case). I sometimes go to local coffee places, but often the coffee at the local places is undrinkable and a waste of time and money, especially if you wait in line for coffee for 10-15 minutes! When I need coffee on the road I don't want to take chances with the local unknown swill. I especially love the Blonde Espresso and have it ground to take home to make lattes with my 25 year old espresso maker saving time and money. This location is fast and friendly. Only one comment against the joint was when they were out of espresso, an employee told me the French Roast would be great in espresso machine and ground me up a pound. yucccckkkkk NOOOOOOOO! Now that was undrinkable. Go back to coffee school. French roast does not equal espresso roast. Overall a nice location with room to work, if the music doesn't distract you. They even have it on outside, there is no escape. read more

Internet not as fast as other locations, and they charged me extra for heavy cream, which almost none of the Starbucks do that. I hate having to ask if they charge for heavy cream bc I go there so much! I usually don't go back to the ones that do, just sayin. read more
