Starbucks has new menu items! Thus far, I've tried the Cookie Croissant Swirl, the Chocolate Pistachio Loaf, and the Strawberry Matcha Loaf. Of the three, the croissant swirl is my favorite. It's not too sweet, and has a great flaky texture. The Chocolate Pistachio Loaf is pretty good, having decent chocolate flavor and a super moist texture. My least favorite is the Strawberry Matcha loaf. It doesn't have much strawberry flavor. I'm not a fan, and won't order this again. read more

The location closed for renovations. Recently opened back up. New and modern look. Same disappointing staff when it comes to any deviation from standard ordering. They no longer have the cold food cooler or beverage cups out. They have a cool screen that shows where your order is in process by name. It's a convenient location, but three different visits and less than stellar experience. The one in Chicago and Inkster is better with ordering. read more

Went inside the store at 1pm Sunday 11/9. Ordered two drinks. 40 minutes later had still not received our drinks. You may need to rethink your process that the people inside the store take priority over online orders. Worst experience ever. And our refund was $2.00 less than what we paid. read more

They hadn't even pulled the sticker off the machine and when they did check it there were even a couple ahead of mine. This isn't an issue with only this Starbucks but it's become clear that at some point this year Starbucks made a change to overly prioritize drive through and mobile order is no longer reliable. read more

The problem with the Starbucks is not the service or the food or the beverages. It's the space. I have been going to this Starbucks for years and before they renovated there was easily 20 seats for indoor dining. After renovating, they decided to replace the 20 seats with four tables. So you walk in hoping to sit down and have a coffee and the four tables are taken up by four people. Why in the world would you renovate a restaurant and remove all of the seating?!?!?! read more

This is the Starbucks location I frequent the most. It's very busy at times so pack your patience. This location shares the parking lot with other businesses so it gets congested and a hassle to find parking. The employees are friendly and fast and efficient. read more

This review isn't so much about Starbucks themselves but more about their customers. This (most recent) experience at this location has changed my perception of this company and ordering from here. I am not a in store person. I use the mobile app and pick up in the drive through. Today I was in a hurry and not dealing with that line so I ordered pick up in store to be quicker. First, it is absolutely not. The app said I would have a 4-8 minute wait. Actual wait time was more like 22 minutes. But that wasn't my problem. My problem was that while I was waiting I parked right outside the door. I saw through the door/window, a gentleman standing just inside, waiting for his drink. This man, a Starbucks customer, grabbed 3, 3!, different drinks, obviously different, like whole different sizes and two different kinds of cups, put them in his hand, pull them to his face/mouth (in one case I swear he took a sip) and begin to walk out the door, just to take them back and put them back down on the counter for their actual intended customer. Let's be clear. This is the first time I've seen something like this happen, but it's also the first time I've been in a position to see it. And it's nasty. Just nasty. Starbucks has to figure out some way to make sure that 17 (yes I'm exaggerating) people aren't touching my drink before I get it. Because even if it doesn't happen that much, it's gross, and the idea that it could happen is unsettling. read more

HORRIBLE Experience. As a former employee of Starbucks it's no wonder the company is having financial issues. The customer service is awful. I went inside to get help with the menu items because my phone had died and needed to know the carbs (my blood sugar was a concern and cannot just grab and not worry about this). Employee Aalora told me that I could look online. I informed her my phone died and I couldn't look online could she help me by grabbing the binder with nutritional info. She emphatically told me they don't have this. I said, can you check in the back or with your boss. Annoyed she did. 5 minutes later she came out to inform me that like she said I needed to look online. Meanwhile having texted Raven her boss... like use your brain folks, if you have a phone and you're telling me this can be looked up online, go ahead and pull this up and help me find a solution. I understand that this isn't a "requirement" of her job but have a bit of compassion and maybe go above and beyond in your role because you're a human who cares for others. Absolutely cannot believe this is the world we live in. Left and went somewhere else that would care about the customer trying to spend hard earned money in their store. read more

I was driving downtown to run some errands and I needed a caffeine pick me up. This location is right off 96 so it was convenient for me to swing by for a quick drive thru. I placed my regular order through the app and in minutes I had my beverage. I had some rewards credits so I got my beverage for free, too! And since there wasn't anyone in the drive thru I pulled right up I was back on the road in a flash. Great location, friendly staff, and an easy online ordering system. A great place to get some work done when you want to change up your environment. I personally love the smell of coffee so its the perfect place to go for free smells! This has been my go-to Starbies location for almost five years now! I've had more good than negative experiences! I think what a lot of customers need to remember/understand these key things about this particular location: This store is off of a main road and connects to a nearby industrial drive, also I-96 is a hop, skip and jump away. They are always BUSY. Especially Friday-Sunday, I feel their peak times on these days are 930am-1130am and then 2pm-4pm. Those timeframes on those days is where I've had to wait a half hour for my order or in the drive thru. If you frequent Starbucks, you should download their app and always do a mobile order and with that being said, always submit your order about ten minutes ahead of when you plan on being in that general area. Some mornings they see a rush of customers ordering for their team, office, etc. so that delays the process. The staff is always kind and nice! Always smiling and having awesome manners. The store is clean, the music being played is always upbeat or mellow pending on the time or even the weather outside. I'd give it a 4.5/5 stars, because there is room for improvement! Really like this location. And all the staff are super nice. Helps that we have been here so much they pretty much know our orders. The inside is always clean and service moves pretty quickly. If you need to work on some school or work tasks it is not too loud or busy usually. The drive through moves fairly fast as well. Some lady, maybe the manager idk, asks me what my name is. I told her and she said yeah this one isn't yours. Clearly I knew that or else I wouldn't have brought it back up and gotten the correct one, yes? As I'm walking away I hear her tell the guy barista "Yeah, some people forget/don't know their name". This location is one of the best around. At times, it can be hard to find a table and the long community seating table forces you to sit with others. Because of this, conversing with others can be tough to do. I have never experienced a rude staff member nor has any of my orders been screwed up. I usually don't review chains. For the most part, I always believed they were mostly the same. As I do more traveling for work, I come to find that that's not true at all. There's always weaker and stronger links in the overall chain. Pun intended. I've only been here once, but within the first hour of sitting in here, this is one of the better Starbucks I have ever been to and I would guess I've been to well over 100 of them. The baristas are actually very friendly. You would think that would be commonplace with a job in which you can angle for tips, but it's sadly not. All the baristas here seemed very friendly. I also overheard either a job interview or possibly a new hire being verbally trained by a manager at an adjacent table. The manager could not have sounded any nicer. Seems like someone I wish I had as a manager. He seemed very calm, thorough, and detailed in his training/interviewing process. It just goes to show you the attention to detail this location exhibits. The dining area is also exceptionally clean. In fact, they had a barista cleaning the legs of the bistro chairs and the footrest underneath the long bar top while I was there. Again, it's all in the details here. The little things do matter and are noticed. Keep it up, guys! Oh yeah...my drink! My drink was not only made correctly, according to my modifications, but it was also very delicious. Went there this morning, like I do every morning, and ordered the exact same thing I order every morning. The young man working was extremely rude and disrespectful, and when he asked for my order. he interrupted and said "we don't have that drink." He then proceeded to give me the complete wrong drinks and charge me the wrong amount for everything. Really disappointed... everytime I go to this location and get my regular which is a large vanilla chai tea it always taste like they put nothing in it. Today I was having a bad day and decided to go up there I had recently bought cups and did not know I had to go in to actually have the drink in it. When I pulled up I said I had two cups and the person just said okay? So I thought they would put it in it when I pulled up there, but she proceeded to tell me I needed to go inside to get it put in the cup which is okay but then I went to scan my rewards just like everyone else and she told me I couldn't because I had paid but I saw everyone else pay before they had their rewards scanned so I am very confused and upset. I go to the target one right down the road and they always make my drink right, but at this location im lucky to have my drink made right. I absolutely have nothing added to it it's just a vanilla chai tea so I don't understand how everytime I go it's either made completely wrong or it's okay.
