One of the better Starbucks I've been to, but maybe it's because it's inside the Union Station. But the staff here seem pretty nice and they listen to you and will get your order right. The cashier girl who took my order was kind to wait for me to pull up my Starbucks app to purchase my drink. I got a tall Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappacino, which comes with the small caramel crisps. It was $5.75 for the tall. I needed the coffee, so it was fair to me. The shop is very open, with no tables or anything, so it's just a to-go Starbucks. Would be cool if they had some standing tables on the wall areas, just to change things up from being outside at the station. But I was happy with my visit here. read more

Worst Starbucks ever I buy the same at every other Starbucks and for some reason they gave me half of my venti cup. I told them why they gave me a little. She started giving me an attitude saying "oh you put light ice" what does that have to do with them giving me half of my cup? And then I told them to at least put more foam since I payed for extra foam and then the supervisor said "it's extra for the foam" but I yet I payed for extra foam for them to be wanting to charge me more. I asked for her name. She just give me the staink face and close the window on me while I was asking for her name. I used to work in a fast food and I know for a fact you don't treat your customers like that. She needs to get trained again or a talk to be kind to customers because we payed extra for them to scam us like that is not fair. I was going to tell her to give me my refund instead but she just closed the window on me. I don't live in Anaheim so I was in a rush and I couldn't go in person to tell her. There are two Starbucks in Union station. One at the entrance to the left and one way in the back by the restrooms. I prefer this one which is the one that is closest to the main entrance. I come here once a week when I take the Amtrak back to San Diego. The staff here is very nice. The place is very well kept. There is no seating area so this is not a good place for work. I recommend the bacon gouda and the grilled cheese sandwich. read more

1/29/25 Just a quick pick me up before heading home, convenient location, quick service, fits the bill. I prefer this location over the much smaller pickup spot at the entrance to LA Union station a few steps ahead. Not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee but it is convenient. Staff are cordial & efficient. The place is well kept considering there are a few unfortunate people loitering & asking for change (specifically asking for a "dollar"). Opted to order via the Starbucks App as there was about 5-6 customers in line. The App was very accurate. The reason for the 3 stars? The latte tasted mostly of oat-milk, not a hint of espresso, so average at best, rounded it off to a 3. Of note, the response from Metro link security was fast, polite & effective when escorting the woman out of Starbucks who was asking for a dollar from patrons. Staff politely asked her prior to kindly exit the establishment. Will likely stop by again sometime in the future since there are no other coffee shops at the LA Union Station (that I know of) Nice play Starbucks, I just wish another option was available. read more

I have been coming to this train station since 1990. This Starbucks location USED TO do refills for rewards members and USED TO have electrical outlets for people to charge their devices. Not anymore: they no longer do refills or have anyplace to charge: not even hot water to make another cup of tea from a PURCHASED tea bag . Not even a single chair or bench to sit in. My daughter and I passed by here on the way to and from the LA Kings hockey game as we took the trains to the game and back home for an afternoon day game. When the Kings win, we usually stop by here and share a drink and a pastry for the win! Well, the Kings won!!! So we mobile ordered a Venti White Chocolate Mocha with oatmilk, no whip and a banana walnut & pecan loaf cake. These were quite tasty and hit the spot! This location never disappoints. I ride the metro into Burbank from Pasadena and I have to have my morning like clockwork and this place seems to run just the same. My coffee is always on point. Don't come here if you have a train to catch. Barista's unorganized and slow for such a main hub of a Starbucks. Also- prices went up pretty dramatically overnight, enough for me to notice. Last Monday I paid less than 3 bucks for a medium coffee. I went back that Wednesday - and the same coffee was $3.25. Only a quarter but enough to notice. If the service and coffee was better I probably wouldn't mind - but it's principal at this point. The coffee isn't good enough for me to justify paying over $3 for. This location is by far the most chaotic starbucks I have ever been too. Upon walking into this grab and go starbucks, you have a long line of travelers and a crowd of people waiting for thier drinks or mobile orders. Then you have the employees who i hope they are getting paid well because these employees are the most dedicated and efficient employees I know. They deal with hundreds if not thousands of drinks and food an hour, and they work hard and non stop to get the drinks out as possible, and they do it with a smile. For them every hour is rush hour with little to no breaks in between. The girl calling out the drinks balances making drinks, managing mobile orders and handing out drinks which is harder than it looks (from a former cashier - i know the struggle) but she does it so effortlessly and enthusiatically and kudos to her for always working so hard. All of this being said, mobile order is still considered the quickest, just order 10 minutes before arriving to union station. Your order should be ready by the time you get there. I usually get the blonde roast with room and a bagel. The pastries are warmed up (unless you dont want them too). Should there be any delays (ticket machine not working or a surge of people) please be patient and if they make a mistake please dont be that one rude person ordering them to fix it. read more
