In search of good study cafes in the area, and this one definitely has a lot of table space, chairs and couches as well as free WIFI. There's a parking lot for the plaza but most of it is valet. I tried 2 drinks, and both of them were nothing too special. One was the orange velvet that was a seasonal drink of cold brew, orange juice, and orange zest. It tasted pretty good but definitely on the sweeter side and my biggest issue with the drink was that there was barely any drink!! I feel like the drink was finished in 2 sips. I think the amount of ice in the other drink I got was more volume than the entire first drink. The other drink was a cold brew with a cream top that tasted pretty standard and actually didn't seem sweet at all. Would consider coming back for the working environment but would definitely try other drinks next time.

Valet parking in the plaza but you can try finding parking on the street. Menu is small and straight forward. The inside has limited seating and is dimly lit. Got the dirty matcha and vienna latte. The vienna latte was definitely the better option. The drink wasn't too sweet and the foam gave it good balance. The dirty matcha wasn't horrible but the matcha flavor was ok so it's probably better to stick to their coffee drinks overall.

Popped in to this cafe. I ordered their Ryn Dirty Matcha. The baristas take their time with preparing your drinks so you know the quality and flavor is there. So just take a seat and chill until they call your order up. The matcha had a deep, rich flavor. It was topped over espresso so you're getting double the caffeine. I slow sipped this one and took my time to be intentional during the day.

Stopped by and ordered the Peanut Cream Top and Vienna Latte for about $16 total. The place was busy when we visited on a Thursday night, but there were plenty of seats, making it a great spot to study or hang out. Parking was easy, with $5 valet parking. There was only one worker, so the drinks took a little while to come out, but they were worth the wait. I especially appreciated the real peanuts on top of the Peanut Cream Top. It had a creamy peanut flavor without being overly sweet, which I loved. The Vienna Latte was also super creamy, not too sweet, and very aesthetically pleasing. Overall, a solid coffee spot!

An EXCELLENT cup of coffee in ktown! If you're like me and prefer the simple coffee drinks to the frilly iced matchas, give this shop a try. They make a serious cup of coffee! Their cappuccino hit the spot- and look at that beautiful latte art!! Also they have a great pastry selection, I tried the Rugelach, which was a roll of chocolate and croissant- it was a great pairing to dip in the milk foam. Lots of seating and friendly service. I'll be back!!

The vienna latte is perfect for when I want a little energy boost and a treat all in one! It's not too sweet, the right amount of creamy, and none of the components overpower the others. They also throw in a biscoff cookie which is a nice surprise :) I've heard great things about the peanut cream top as well, and can see myself getting that one in the future. The workers have been friendly, and the drinks don't take too long, at least when I go (in the afternoon). Each time I go there are people seated inside studying or working, so it seems to be a good place for getting work done. The decor is nice as well. I will be back and definitely recommend giving this spot a try!

Coffee shop / cafe located in Koreatown that offers a solid selection of food items along with their drink menu of coffeeshop classics as well as their signature or specialty drinks. The service here is very friendly and they seem to take great pride in their products. This place is also a popular hang out for people working, writing, journaling, etc. I was actually looking for a coffee and a place to post up to get a little work done in the area and found this place. It was perfect. I ordered the Hojicha Latte and it was tasty. As a bonus, there was a very fun design put on top. There's plenty of outlet cells able to plug in my computer right where I'm sitting. I did what I needed to do about an hour later. It's located in this tight strip mall with limited parking. Parking here could get pretty tough, but I was there on a weekday so wasn't as bad. But I still ended up parking about two blocks away.

I stopped by RNY Coffee Studio and had a cortado that was very well executed. The milk was integrated nicely with the espresso, giving the drink a smooth texture while still allowing the coffee's characteristics to come through. The latte art was beautiful, and it was clear that care went into the preparation. My only technical feedback is that the body started to fall off a bit around the halfway point of the drink. The first half had great structure and balance, but it didn't quite maintain that same texture through the finish. A minor critique in what was otherwise a strong cup. Ronin was great to chat with and clearly knows what he's doing behind the bar. Friendly, professional, and someone who takes pride in the craft. It's always nice when the quality of the coffee is matched by the person serving it. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for another cortado.

We stopped here because we wanted a coffee break during our food run. I yelp and this place came up! Rny was located in a plaza with some parking. I ended up getting a berry crunch latte. This latte was on their seasonal menu. This latte was so good! It was so good and I hope it stays on their menu. You have to stir it so you can get the berries flavors mixed in with the espresso. I loved the added crumbs. It just makes the drink. The service was great! Overall, a good coffee place if you're in the area.

Cute neighborhood coffee shop!! I like this place's interior decor and cozy vibes. It's a great place to study with close by outlets and comfy chairs. It's a somewhat small space but there's a decent amount of seating. This shop has a lot of artisan coffee options from different brews to coffee beans. I ordered the cappuccino, and it felt very rich with strong espresso. In the past, I tried their hojicha and matcha lattes which were just okay. I definitely think the coffee here is a better choice. The service has also always been prompt and friendly. My first time here, the barista offered me and my friend to try a new cold drip coffee that they just got in! Super friendly and nice experience.

RNY is my go-to coffee & matcha spot! It is conveniently located at the heart of K-town, and the interior is well-designed. It is also a great study spot or a place to chat with friends! I always get their matcha lattes and their drinks are simply delicious. The matcha tastes rich, smooth, and sweet. They also offer numerous coffee drinks that are equally as delicious and their pastries are tasty. The service is quick and the staff are very friendly. RNY is one of my favorite cafes to stop by and I always recommend it to my friends and family.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Valet parking is available for $5 on Saturday if you can't find street parking. Interior decoration was very nice. Very nice spot to hag out with friends. Ordered a cup of cappuccino and I enjoyed every sip of it. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.

My fiancé and I were in the area and decided to stop by this coffee shop, and I'm so glad we did. I was honestly shocked to see a coffee shop open until 10pm I really wish more places were like that. The space is super cool and hip with a great vibe. We ordered a dirty matcha and a regular matcha with pistachio foam, and childdddd... it was SO good. I finished it way too fast because it was that delicious. Service was so quick I sat down and the drinks were ready! I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I'm already planning to come back to try their coffee next time!

The green sauce was very vinegary with a slightly spicy kick. The burrito itself was not bad as it had all the right ingredients. It took about 10 minutes for the kitchen to prepare this order. Mason Latte (Double shot Espresso, whole milk, homemade brown butter caramel, sea salt - iced $7.75): This drink had to be mixed and shaken first. A solid latte and not too sweet. The flavor was a tad light, but not bad. *** While no food or drink in particular made this place stand out among all other amazing coffee shops in Los Angeles, this is still a solid all-around coffee shop in my book. I ordered the Orange Mint Latte, Matcha Sparkling Lemonade, Einspanner White, Hibiscus Mint Sparkling Lemonade, and of course, a cortado. I also tried their Wagyu Sliders. Every drink was fantastic. What I really enjoyed was how different each one was from the next. It didn't feel like I was ordering variations of the same drink -- each had its own flavor profile, presentation, and unique touch. The Orange Mint Latte was especially interesting, and both sparkling lemonades were refreshing and completely different from what I would normally order. The Einspanner White was another standout. Overall, it was a really fun variety to try at once. The cortado was also very good. It had a nice flavor, smooth texture, and was easy to drink. Their approach is a little different from a traditional cortado presentation because the espresso and milk are fully integrated together rather than finished with latte art. I actually appreciate that style when it's executed well because the focus is more on getting the espresso and milk completely incorporated into one cohesive drink. The presentation across the entire order was also really well done. You can tell there's thought behind how everything is served and put together, which adds to the overall experience. The Wagyu Sliders were great as well. I think the food side of Archives of Us deserves more attention because they have some genuinely good food options to go along with the drinks rather than the food feeling like an afterthought. The space itself is beautifully designed with plenty of seating inside as well as an outdoor seating area. I love the overall atmosphere and aesthetic -- there are certain details about the design, presentation, and experience that remind me of coffee shops I've visited in Japan. The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming. Overall, Archives of Us has a lot going for it. Vanilla latte: 8/10 great taste but they charge you for a latte and give you a cup almost as small as that of an espresso which was really annoying. I don't mind if it's small but at least charge accordingly. Avocado toast: 1/10 was sweet for some odd reason and the avocado was already turning black when I received it . There are also street parking but can be difficult to cross the street due to cars driving by so quickly without a pedestrian crosswalk on one side. I ordered their signature drink which was the orange espresso tonic with one extra shot for my husband, and the double mango matcha for myself. Both of us really enjoyed the drinks, especially the orange espresso tonic. It was refreshing, clean, and easy to drink. Normally, they include double shots of espresso, which may have tasted stronger for me since my husband wanted three shots, and I usually stick with two shots. The double mango matcha uses fresh fruit syrup so the mango flavor was not too strong and my drink was very creamy due to the signature mango cream on top. Usually, I would enjoy a creamy matcha but it made me more thirsty on a hot day. The service took a bit of time since they had to mix my matcha the legit way with the bamboo whisk. The matcha tasted like premium, ceremonial matcha since it was stronger and authentic in taste. Ahhhhh I finally got to try a viral/trendy place to eat in LA. This sandwich was so so worth it!…read moreThe price is seemingly alot but you get 2 regular sized sandos in one. I got the #1 bestseller and it did NOT disappoint. I can see why someone wouldn't like it because it is rather plain but I prefer plain sandwiches myself. I like the ingredients to speak for themselves and not be coated in extra sugar or salt. I'm also a big fan of pistachio, the amount they put on is not for the faint of heart... hehe This place is clean, the line is efficient and friendly. I recommend stopping by. I came here as recommendation from Joshua Weissman's YT video of trying LA foods.

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. Given the small size of the shop, takeout is recommended, especially during peak hours. The sandwiches at AAV are so good! Fuggedaboutit!
