Orders take too long compared with the average starbucks. The staff is not well organized and constantly ignore orders, their service attitude is not the best either. read more

STARBUCKS Los Banos, Is THE happenin' place, in that area. From what I understand, it is locally owned by a very community involved family. The Employees' also are very nice and respectful. There is more than adequate parking. The bldg faces East, so there is Shade to sit in outside as the sun goes down. The other side of the hiway gets HOT HOT HOT. There are businesses all the way thru a few miles on 152. STARBUCKS is on the Right Side, in the SouthWest area, just as you come into town. if you are heading towards Fresno, which is South. There is a WalMart, Petco, and Starbucks is right 'on' the hiway in front. easy off and on. Actually I like LB and live there P/T. i am older and like the Peace and Quiet. Banos means BATHS. There are hot springs around the area which is a secret only the locals know. That's what i've been told. I am trying to find out. I think they should change the name to LOST BANJOS. There is not much there INCLUDING NOT MUCH TRAFFIC. except on 152 certain times of the day. Definitely a Great place for Pit Stop, eat, and caffeine fix. Wifi also. C U there ! read more

I decided to stop in here on my way back to San Jose from Merced. The place was pretty empty, with only 2 people hanging out enjoying their coffees. There was no one in line, and with 3 people behind the counter, I had to wait to be served. I ordered an extra hot Grande Peppermint Mocha. I gave them my first name when I ordered. When my drink was ready, they didn't call my name to tell me that my drink was ready. I found that to be a little inconsiderate of them. Then, when I go up to pick up my drink, there were two drinks sitting on the counter, mine and someone else's. I asked the girl if that was the Peppermint Mocha for Kaylin, she said "yes". When I asked her if it was extra hot, she could not remember, and she was the one who had just made my drink. When I tasted my coffee, it didn't taste extra hot. This is the first time I've received this kind of service at Starbucks. I probably won't be back to this location. read more

This is the typical Starbucks and I'm hooked, what do they put in their drinks to make a person who doesn't even like coffee crave something everyday? ;-) This is my favorite place to stop on the way to Monterey, clean and stocked bathrooms, tidy and clean waiting area, Wi-fi and my order has always been correct and good. My complaint with this store is the service, they are very polite but slow... incredibly, painfully slow. I understand when they have a line out the door and drive thru(which is common) why it could take 15-20 minutes for me to get my drink but when there is one car in the drive thru and only myself in the store with three employees working, it shouldn't take the same 15 minutes to get my passion fruit iced tea. The last time I was there, I almost asked if I could hop behind the counter and make it myself, it doesn't seem all that hard. Tea in pink pitcher, pour to line, about three squirts of raspberry syrup, some water and ice. Put into shaker thingy, shake and then pour in plastic cup. See not that difficult! Don't get me wrong, I will be here again, ordering my drink, then using the potty (very important order first) and using their free WiFi while I watch them inch their way to finishing my drink. read more

I am a regular here - in a slow month, I might come here 5 times. In Summer, it's more like 5 times a week and in January (when I have my "January Mug" ) I come about twice a day. It was recently remodeled, which is bazaar because it looked fine before. I almost always go through the drive thru unless meeting with friends. Inside, it is clean and a bit narrow compared to other Starbucks. Always a wait for the bathrooms. The coffee is always good, the staff is nice. This is my only complaint, and unfortunately, given that I buy them often enough, it's kind of a headache: From time to time, I order the coffee travelers. (Big brown boxes of 12 cups of coffee to go. Totally genius idea. Looks similar to wine in a box) I understand that it takes time to brew and prepare this coffee. EVERY SINGLE TIME I ORDER THIS I do so about 30-60 minutes prior to pick up. Hey, I get that they are busy. So I pay and I tell them I will pick it up in 30+ minutes. They are always soooo grateful, and off I go. 30+ minutes later when I pick it up, is it ready? No. Almost ready? No. Have they even started it? No. Did they totally forget about it? Yes. EVERYTIME. I have talked to the manager about it once. He was nice but basically said they are really busy. I get that, which is why I did my part by ordering it extra early. Also, did I not just pay for something like everyone else? But it's ok that my order always gets missed? When they forget about someone else's drink, they get a coupon for a free drink. I get nothing. And these things are $12.50 each. It is such a hassle. I honestly would like to know of they have a system for when someone orders a traveler. I get that it is not the most popular thing on the menu, but it is still something they sell. They need to figure it out. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks since the day it opened and have always received the best service whether it's drive thru or mobile. The pressure this staff has to work under is incredible since it is always busy! The staff always does their best to ensure the customers get exactly what they want! There are three Starbucks in town and this one is definitely the one to visit!! read more

Dirty outside and in. Filthy bathrooms. Terrible service, well actually NO service. Worst service EVER. Stopped at Los Banos for a simple cup of black coffee. Waited 17 minutes, no one explained anything and no one was being helped. Finally, I asked and the manager said the computer was down and he did not know what to do. So I said I just want black coffee, I have cash. He refused. Did not apologize. Then saw drive thru was working. So we sent there. Same thing happened except the people behind us ordered, I then ordered and did not get my coffee. EVERYONE in that line should have gotten free coffee at that moment instead of me having to write to you. Also, at the next Starbucks, they refused my sons birthday card. Make sure you take the time to go to the Ortigalita Starbucks. It can be a little out of my way, a couple blocks, when I am heading to Turlock or Fresno. I do mobile orders often and when I do my mobile order with the Ortigalita Starbucks it is ready by the time I get there and I live a couple blocks from there. When I do a mobile order from my house for the 165 Starbucks it is never ready. I end up waiting for my order which kind of defeats the purpose of mobile orders. read more

Ok, so one of their espresso machines broke and the line was out the door. We were told it would be a long wait, so we waited, and waited and waited, for 1 drink! I saw people that ordered after us leaving with their drinks in hand. We asked the barista if our drink was coming up and she said no, apparently they had skipped it. When they finally got to it they made it wrong, and when my husband took it back their response was "if you want another drink you have to pay for it". Very bad service, I won't pay $4 for an 8oz cup of coffee that doesn't taste good or put up with people that do not understand customer service and still expect a tip. read more
