After not visiting this Starbucks in months, I decided to go back. Biggest mistake ever! I ordered a Caramel Frap, decaf with no whipped cream. What I got? A regular white mocha frap, not decaf, with a ton of whipped cream. I didn't realize the order mistake until I drove home, which was too late to have them make a new drink. This is the 4th time they have made my drink wrong, hence why I didn't go back for a while. Very busy location, long wait lines in drive thru, employees are insanely rude! When you are traveling west on Hwy 152, this is the Starbucks to stop at. When traveling east, stop on the other end of town. Easy off and on the road at both locations. Good treats, but you will probably have to wait to use the restroom. Seems like there is always a line. read more

For real?! Seriously every time I come here i can't understand what these baristas don't understand about "extra caramel drizzle on the cup" I don't have pictures to show all the other drinks they've made me usually because I am so annoyed that I ask for extra caramel and they give absolutely NO caramel drizzle. Im sure I'm charged for it and they don't give it. It's frustrating. I came from San Jose and those baristas know that when a customer asks for drink modifications that is what the customer wants and they give it to them. These baristas need to take a lesson from the San Jose baristas. But honestly. Today I am just about done with this Starbucks location. I asked for extra caramel drizzle in the cup and the barista at the bar gave a very very very light drizzle... Went through the drive thru and we were backed up for at least 25 mins!!! The line moved extremely slow. This wasn't during peak hours. It was 10:30 pm. The girl in the drive thru was really rude. Apparently I was talking to fast for her so she couldn't type. I didn't know baristas needed to type out my order. Last time I checked they just punch it in. It wasn't a very complicated order. Per a previous person's Yelp: Yeah, I get that things happen but it shouldn't always happen. I go to Starbucks everywhere (yeah, yeah, I know...) & this is the worst. We always stop here (or at the other down the street) to & from Coarsegold. The other location is great but this one is crummy. My hubby ordered a venti vanilla latte with extra whip & a grande black tea lemonade. The girl taking orders only got the sizes correct. She was messing up all kinds of orders - I got a plain latte, no whip & he got a mango green tea. We checked the labels so it wasn't the people making the drinks. It was super busy so we didn't complain. I get being busy but that doesn't excuse incompetence. This is your job; it's customer service; it's Starbucks so it gets busy. We asked for light ice and was given a refresher with a lot of ice so we let the girl know, while a new one was being remade, one of our drinks had a a leak coming from a slit on the side. we let the gentleman who gave us the refresher back know, he seemed angry at us about their mistake & then the girl at the window was rude when we got the new drink back. I love how everyone on here is so impatient and priviledged.. like be a little patient? The world does not revolve around you. Starbucks is known to be busy ESPECIALLY during the holidays. Understand that without these employees you wouldn't have coffee, and would have to drive elsewhere, so say "thank you" or even greet them because they're already stressed out as it is. We stopped at the location on Saturday, November 29th around 2pm on our way home from Visalia to San Jose. The line to order and the line to pickup were LOOOONNGG. This must have been one of their busiest days ever as it was Thanksgiving weekend and by the looks of the staff...they were overwhelmed. While my family was waiting to use the restroom, I stood in line. Got to the register and the gal seemed like she was in SloMo. I order 3 Iced Grande Mochas, a carton of chocolate milk and 4 Chocolate Chip cookies. Cashier told me she was sorry, but that they were all out of Chocolate Chip cookies and only had Oatmeal Raisin...would I like to get those instead. I asked about the 6 ChocChip cookies in the display case and was told that they were for display only and she could not sell them too me. To which I responded with "You're out of ChocChip cookies even though there are 6 in the case, however you do have Oatmeal Raisin of which there are none displayed...is that what you are telling me?". Yes, would you like the OatRai cookies? No thanks. Pay for my drinks and walk away. I spot someone who seems to be a manager...everyone was asking her for permission to do various things and had "The Key". Anyway, I asked about the cookies in the display and was assured that all items in the the display case are strictly for display only and are not for sale. :/ Hmmm....I have been to a lot of Starbucks in various cities and states...This was a first for me. While I'm waiting for my order, my family comes over to me and tells me to take napkins with me to the restroom as there are no paper towels and to watch where you step as it was a complete disaster in there. People have said to me, What can you expect...you were in Los Banos for crying out loud! But Starbucks is Starbucks. The Los Banos location should be held to the same standards as the locations in San Jose, Campbell, Los Gatos, Las Vegas, Maui, Reno, Placerville or Visalia. Just like any other franchise restaurant. Worst service ever received! Ordered my drink, payed with my card, waited about 15 minutes, watched 7 other people that ordered after me get their drinks, approched the cashier to ask about my drink and "Cookie" tells me my card doesn't have any money...ok. Couldn't you have just told me right away? Why would you take so many orders after me? Just watching me wait for my beverage like a dumbass...oh Cookie, the sick games you play! Hahahahaha! So I asked to speak to the manager and he went in the back to get him. Waited about 5 minutes for the both of them to come out the back room...just to find he's a shift lead. Not who I asked for. After what seemed a little long...The "shift lead" returned, with... nothing. No card, no piece of ripped paper with a name and number, nothing! I just had to walk out on the poor guy. Location is everything, and this Starbucks's location makes this one what it is. For the past few months my coworkers and I have been driving from San Francisco to Fresno every now and then, and on the route we usually take, the only town that we actually go through on surface streets is Los Banos. Aside from our recurring discussions about why anyone would name a town "The Bathrooms" (a slight translation issue there, I think), there isn't too much notable about the town, at least the part of it that you can see as you drive through it on Highway 152. Except, that is, for the fact that it's a great place for a pee stop and to get what is usually a very needed caffeine fix. In that regard, this particular Starbucks has often been as welcome a vision to us as if we were suddenly back in the Mission or at Crissy Field, instead of deep in the heart of the Central Valley. We know it will have a clean bano; we know the coffee will be okay; we know they might have something decent foodwise in the midst of the wilderness; and we know we won't get shot for being persons of color who aren't of the local demographic, or for having an Obama bumpersticker on the car. And that can be worth quite a lot. Three stars, at least. Plus, it's open at like 4.30 in the morning. Actually, Los Banos also has a great Dairy Queen. We were at the drive thru no one answered us we called a few times, the wait time was excruciating. Saw people were getting their drinks at the window, so decided to order at the window. The barista was asking if we ordered though the mobile app we replied no and she would close the window on us, then asked if we ordered for a party? We said no? Closed the window on us, she then proceeded to take our order and was closing the window on us again and again. We had to wait in the parking lot, and the wait time was even longer to where we got off to get the drinks ourselves. She handed us our drinks and left one on the counter when calling her to hand me my last drink she had a questionable face and then continued to stare out into space. I waved at her to get her attention and she waved back I then called her to ask her to hand me my last drink and was confused as if I was asking for a free drink. Typical Starbucks. On the small side. The drive through is the highlight and always moves fast. The drive thru is not well marked and very hidden so you gotta have some good instinct to find it. Very kind staff. The barista on register was very talkative and even checked that my retail item was damage free because someone had dropped one like it earlier is what she had told me. They accidentally added peppermint to one of my drinks and they remade it imidiately with a good attitude and honestly I ordered 4 drinks after the huge rush from the buy one get one free 2-5.
