After several visits to this location, (Westport Rd, Louisville, Ky) and service being a flop, I've decided to mention it. (Yes, I've brought issues to the store manager on duty before). Last issue being a couple days ago, stopping in for my usual order (which includes Banana nut bread) heated, with butter (on the side). The young man at the window and taking orders was nice enough, it was after I pulled away (after waiting quite a while in line) did I notice no butter in my bag. In a hurry, and now having to rush back inside, I approached a busy young girl at the "order ready" area. I told her "you forgot my butter" she literally responded with "Because I can't find it" and tossed her hands up. I explained to her that it would've been nice if someone told me that. (I would have asked for a refund) She literally said nothing, and just walked away. I should've definitely asked to speak to the manager because who can eat dry bread without butter? Completely ruined my morning because her attitude was clear that she didn't care about customer service at all!! Starbucks is pricy. And for some of us, a treat. After taking a walk in nearby E. P. "Tom" Sawyer Park and going to Half Price Books right across the street I stopped at Starbucks for a coffee. Service was quick and friendly. I left and drove down the road before my drink was cool enough to take a sip. I was shocked when it tased like a regular coffee with foamed milk. This Starbucks has the strangest traffic pattern and is always busy. Despite that, I love this store because they always help steer me to the perfect drink (I like to try new things!). I pick up drive-thru app orders here at least twice a week (along with the occasional in-store order) & I've never had any issues. My shaken espressos & lattes are delicious & the staff is always friendly and efficient. We called 2 weeks ago to ask about holiday cup availability and they actually answered!! That in itself is amazing! During a drive-thru visit we had our two dogs in the back and even though it was busy, the sweet girl at the drive-thru offered us pup cups. Long line for drive thru but it went quickly. Currently the indoor and patio seating is closed for social distancing. The barista taking our order was upbeat and friendly. We ordered an iced caramel macchiato and iced chai, both were delicious. Paying was quick and our drinks were there waiting for us at the window. I've been to this Starbucks before when it was newly opened just a few years ago. It was usually slammed, since it's the closest drive thru Starbucks for a lot of us who live around here. I came around noon and there was already a drive thru line. People were walking in and out the building though, and I saw a few people sitting outside. The drive thru line wasn't going fast, but they could've been understaffed or serving lots of customers inside. I wasn't in a rush though. I ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk and a shot of espresso. Yum! It enhances the flavor of the matcha. The guy at the window was nice and did a good job making sure he had the correct order. I try to support local these days, but not all local shops have matcha. Starbucks still does a pretty good job to appeal to all kinds of coffee or non-coffee drinkers. read more

The music was so loud I could Gail's a conversation with my friend. The whole staff was in masks (Oct 2023), that coupled with the loud music I could understand what they were saying to me. I ordered a green tea. She didn't ask me if I wanted sugar or anything. I went into the bathroom and the toilet dispenser was broken. I let a girl behind the counter know. I go this Starbucks quite often because it's close to my destination, but if I don't have to go to this one, I won't. In the last few weeks, this has been the only one open on my range of travel. It's not my favorite. The reason it's not my favorite is for a few reasons. 1. My favorite drink is an Iced Peach Green Tea, add sweetener. I have tried to get this drink on 3 different occasions at this location and they were not good each time. There was no peach flavor and it wasn't sweet. Not sure if they have different peach additives than the other locations but they need to figure out what the other places use to make this better. One time I even told them that it wasn't right and it was made the exact same. I think they don't have the right products to make this drink correct. 2. One of the kids I babysit loves the strawberry Frappuccino. There is usually a drizzle strawberry "sauce" in the bottom. They have been covering the bottom and sides with this strawberry sauce which is way too much. There has been more and more each time. We will have to start saying light on the sauce. Someone is getting super carried away with it. I'll go there since it is the only one for miles but won't get the tea and will give more directions on the Frappuccino. read more

I ordered a caramel frappe from this location and I am severely disappointed. As soon as I tasted it, I knew it was off. I asked the barista (white young man with dark hair) to remake the drink since it was horrible. He agreed and proceeded to "remake it" and gave me back the SAME EXACT drink I just handed over as if I'm stupid and don't have eyes. Honestly can't believe the audacity. Will not return. read more

Ok my Starbucks expectations may be high, maybe because I see ones all over the country regularly. Yet this one right near my house can't seem to get it right!!! The people are nice inside, most of the time. Although the drive thru is hit or miss. What has really started to upset me more than anything and want me to give it one star, but I had to be professional and accurate... is the mobile ordering. A process which I use regularly. This store or its people can't figure it out. On multiple occasions ( not only myself) mobile orders will be placed and upon pick up they won't be ready or they will say they don't have the order. So after showing your confirmation, you get to wait some more!!! Now I find this absolutely annoying and a waste of time! Especially since it defeats the entire purpose of the app or system!!! If other busier stores can do a extremely good job and provide excellent customer service in the process there is no reason a store of this size should not be able to do so as well!! If you do choose to go inside the service is usually friendly, but food orders are forgotten or made half &$!. I will say this is one of the cleaner Starbucks so, sometimes it's worth putting up with the headache. read more

I go to this location only because it's on my commute to work, and I'm too lazy to go elsewhere. To start off with the positive, the staff is consistently friendly. And I do appreciate that they have shown up during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, my problems with this store were present long before the pandemic, and the problems have persisted. This location consistently gets my orders wrong. I ordered a java chip Frappuccino one day, and they handed me what looked like a watered down chocolate Frappuccino with java chips thrown in. I immediately brought it to their attention, and the staff tried to convince me it was what I asked for. I took a sip, and there was no coffee in it. They remade it, but with non-fat milk (which I did not ask for). It was disgusting, and I threw it out. I have other examples of times they messed up my drinks, but I don't want to type it out. They also take a ridiculously long time to make drinks. Right now, there are only drive-they services, but I wait a significant amount of time between time of order and pulling up to the window. I don't experience as log of wait times at other Starbucks, and this leads me to believe there is not an effective system in place at this location. It's just frustrating to pay good money for a drink only to have to convince staff they didn't make it right or to have to turn back around after you've driven away. I don't like to complain, but I've truly never had this many problems at Starbucks before. read more

This is a great Starbucks. They have the Clover machine which brews coffee specific depending on the type of coffee you choose. They also have Starbucks Reserve. The staff is very helpful. I left my jacket the other day and called and they held it in the back room until I could come back. Definitely worth trying it out. read more

My granddaughter and I ordered small latte and white mocha Frappuccino. While waiting we noticed a number of flies and the work area was filthy! My granddaughter's frapp had black specks in it and my latte tasted like sour milk!! I asked that they remake them which they did. My latte still tasted awful. It could have been the shots not being timed correctly and the milk still had an odd taste. I won't be stopping in for another drink there..FOR SURE!! read more

It's early morning Sunday and rainy so I decided to make a stop here for a nice cup of coffee before doing grocery shopping. When I arrived I noticed it wasn't crazy busy which is always nice when going to a Starbucks in the morning hours. As I walked in I was greeted with the wonderful aroma of coffee beans and espresso. There was no line so I was able to immediately place my order of a venti blonde roast coffee with an inch of soy milk. The girl who waited on me was very polite and professional. The trash by the coffee creamer and sweeteners was recently changed out, so it was over flowing, which I always find disgusting at places. I decided to sit down and relax for a few minutes before making my way to the grocery and noticed that the entire dining area is very clean. The person at the register didn't pour our drip coffees right away but added them to the line of drinks in waiting. After SEVENTEEN MINUTES I asked about our order, and was told they are working on it. One coffee came and one of the girls came to the counter and said that they were out of Pike Place for the second drip coffee and had to brew more. I told her I didn't order Pike Place, I did order Christmas Blend. Then, to add insult to "injury" (first world problems, I know), the iced coffee came and they didn't add simple syrup as requested. The only thing I can say about this Starbucks is one word NASTY!!!! The floors, tables and counters were dirty! The bathroom sink and floor was dirty which enhanced the ambiance of the un-flushed toilet. The pictures of the dirty countertop and floor don't do it justice. (I posted some pics) There was only one person working when I came in. But, the person outside smoking sitting on the curb blocking a parking spot (could have been hit by a car) was also an employee (go figure). Did he wash his hand? I don't know but next I knew was he was behind the counter. You don't have to worry about me coming back. But, the health department should. name is bob and i have been going to this location since it opened, I buy 2 cups of coffee a day and because of my diet I drink decaf which seems to be a problem and getting worse, Yesterday it took 25 minutes to get a poor over made and it seemed to bother person who tried to make it, I tried again today and they were a little faster but used warm water not hot, I showed manager by sticking my finger directly into water and she advised that was as hot as it was, and was going to brew a pot which was fine. Then she started slamming things down and I could tell she was upset, I told her I would go somewhere else and left without coffee, she said fine, I think she was a manager which made it worse, sorry this kind of treatment is not acceptable and after 6 years it is time for me to move on, and this location to look at its employees read more

Of the 6 working, 3 are having personal conversations while making drinks the other 3 seem to be working at the pace of a snail. The drivethru is backed up, so I decide to not be lazy and enter the store. There's 7 people waiting on drinks. They're out of cold foam. They're out of decaf. They are clearly not prepared for the amount of foot traffic they receive during the morning. I was in the store for about 15-20 min waiting for one iced coffee. Love this new location. They are a "reserve" location meaning they have a clover machine (go in and see this thing... It's awesome!) It makes coffee kinda like french press consistency. I am so glad there is now a Starbucks in Westport road! I used to have to go to Target to get my Starbucks fix because it was the only one in the area.
