    Got my coffee!!!
    Wendy B.

Went to grab my morning coffee at the Starbucks near my home. Notice the drive-through line was pretty long so I decided to park and go inside. I was greeted with friendly smiles and happy faces. I ordered my normal grande drip dark roast with heavy cream. Noticed that the Starbucks employees were working pretty hard behind the counter. After waiting for a bit for my coffee one of the employees informed me that the dark roast drip was cold but she could give me the pike. I asked for them just to do a Americano with heavy cream and they were happy to accommodate. Then I got a tall Americano and not a grande. But that was OK because they were so nice and kind to me even though you could tell they were working really hard and trying to make everyone happy. She said I am happy to give you a credit and I was really amazed and surprised and happy that they made me feel important and appreciated. Instead of blowing me off like most places probably would. To the Starbucks employees you guys are doing a fabulous job and don't forget it thank you for all your hard work. You come in super early to give us coffee to make our days better thank you for making my day better.

If you want snotty attitude when asking for a drink to be full go here, if you want a location that doesn't read what's printed out come here!! This is the third time you've not read the instructions on my drink. And given attitude for me asking to have a full drink instead of half an inch of room left!! Also why can you not add the Carmel drizzle I pay for? It's a simple thing read what's being printed out for drinks it's not that hard. But apparently it is for your location.

    Ugggghhhhhhhhh

Very pretentious employees here, in the morning at least, the cashier was very patronizing which irritated the hell outta me, and she seemed unable to answer questions about the company's rewards program. Also while standing near the counter waiting for my order, another employee comes in to work I guess and decided squeeze through the lil gap between me and the counter, which he had to turn sideways to do... there was plenty of room to go behind me, and the asshole didn't even have the nerve to say excuse me or anything... it read like I want standing there or something. I absolutely will not ever come back to this location, to spend money anyway, I may be in the area and might need to sponge off the WiFi or something, but nothing other than that

That's what keeps me fueled and hydrated with its proximity to work!

We visited specifically to order a sweet corn latte, a drink which we've never had before and were interested in trying. Sweet Corn Latte, Iced 20oz ($7) - Surprisingly sweetness adjustments are allowed on this drink. The drink itself has a nice mellow corn aroma and a balanced milky flavor. It isn't too sweet. There's some fresh corn mixed in that's not that sweet compared to most canned sweet corn. There's stabilized whipped cream sweet on top studded with corn and then sprinkled with cocoa powder for some color. We asked to upgrade to 20oz but didn't get charged any more. Not sure how that works! (4/5) The drink probably has better presentation if ordered for dine-in rather than to-go given that the cap they give crushes the whipped cream. Photos from other Yelpers indicate that they have domed lids but for some reason they gave us a flat lid. K Cafe Dabang serves some pretty tasty drinks. We shop at the H-Mart around once a month, so it makes sense to return to try some more sweets. Bathrooms: Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women.

We went on a Saturday morning, so it was busy, but the space still felt open and easy to move through. Quick heads up on the flow: if you want pastries, grab a tray and pick out what you want before heading to the register. If you're just there for coffee like I was, you can skip that and go straight to the cashier. The pastry case was packed with options, plus a solid selection of ready-to-grab cakes, great to know if you're ever in a cake emergency. I can personally vouch for the cakes. They're delicious especially the Cappuccino Cake. I also tried the seasonal Iced S'mores Latte. It leans more mocha than s'mores, but the graham cracker bits add just the right amount of sweetness, ended up liking it more than I expected. They don't have outlets on the floor at the benches in the center, but there are a few outlets on the walls, so if you need to charge your devices I recommend sitting at the chairs next to the treasure chest (where I'm writing this review lol). They have pretty typical Korean bakery fare and pricing seems to be just a bit higher than competitors, probably somewhere around a 10% premium compared to similar family owned bakeries. On my visit I got two pastries to try: Soboro Cream ($3.49) - Instead of a delicately crackly cookie crust, this bun has a much softer, almost moist topping, which may be due to them placing the bread in the packaging before being fully cooled off, allowing the bun to steam too much. There's a bunch of sweetened stabilized cream inside that's sweet and oily. The bread itself is kind of dry and crumbly, either not a typical milk bread recipe or perhaps it had been sitting on the shelf for too long. (2/5) Corn Mochi ($5.99) - This comes with six pieces. The corn mochi has a nice chewy tapioca flour base. There's black sesame sprinkled throughout giving a burst of nutty flavor. I expected to see whole corn kernels baked inside but I think they just use corn flour in the dough. It's way less sweet than the soboro. Texturewise, the inside is bouncy while the outside has a harder baked crust. (4/5) Overall Le Bon Patisserie is a pretty average Asian grocery store-paired bakery. I f***in' love milk bread... and while I don't use drugs, I imagine the euphoria I feel when I bite into milk bread is similar to a drug high.
