If you're in the area and don't really have time to look around for options, but you see a Paris Baguette nearby, it's an easy choice to just walk in and grab something. They always have a great variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and drinks, so there's usually something for everyone. Hot Dog Roll: Best pastry frank out of all the options they have. The bread is crispy and the sausage they use is Portuguese which gives a little nudge of spice. Ask for them to heat it up! Pain au Chocolat: Flaky, airy, buttery; however, very skimpy on the chocolate. Latte: Depending on which adolescence barista is on bar, they either let the machine automatically steam your milk, or have the confidence to do it themselves. Lucky for me, it seems like mine was handmade--it was okay. I asked and they said they use a medium roast. If you're not looking to gamble the quality of your latte or cappuccino, then I'd recommend getting the iced variant. Korean Milk Coffee: Very nice and refreshing--specifically this summer season. Not too sweet. Inside is spacious with ample seatings. I came in the morning so service was prompt and had no issues finding a table. Cleanliness: Tables are generally clean but some chairs and especially benches have crumbs on them. The display counter could use a wipe from time to time as bits and pieces fall out whenever people grab pastries or whenever someone refills them. Overall, pleasant experience, the pastries are more expensive than at 85°C. PB does have more options--no vegan or vegetarian savories. We recently got another blueberry yogurt cake and also stopped by to try some of the smaller treats. The blueberry cake was, as always, light, flavorful and delicious. We tried a variety of smaller treats. On the savory side, the ham and cheese croissant was the standout. We also tried two different curry items, which didn't suit our tastes as well - but, I'd put that more down to personal preference. On the sweet side, the chocolate croissant and cherry w/ cream cheese danish were all-stars. I will definitely be back for an encore on those! Service was with a smile and helpful during each visit. Went for a 6am coffee meeting with a friend. Drinks were available although they were still setting up food by the time I got there so I waited a little bit until I got food. Lots of variety in the foods. The sweet stuff was very sweet. Tried a hash brown pastry, crab croquette, hojicha croffin, and milk and cereal mochi donut. The hojicha and milk and cereal donut were very sweet. The crab croquette had relish or something sweet which I didn't enjoy. The hash brown pastry was really good. What a fun way to select (most of) them--the Mexican bakery method: grab a tray and some tongs, and pick what you want (a method brought back to Asia by Asian immigrants to Mexico). And what a bright and inviting modern space. Looks great, but... the flavors are mostly lacking. Some items are decent, but most are bland and border on flavorless. If you want to eat just okay pastries (they do not taste bad) that won't really satisfy you but look pretty and are decent, then this is your place. 1 star for very poor customer service and burnt croissants. Their garlic croissants are my favorite and I get them all the time. This time around they tasted burnt, I know how they should taste as it's what I always get. After spending $60 I thought if I told them they'd have the courtesy to offer me to trade them. Love me a stop here for dessert. Came for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. My wife and I got several different slices of cake. I can't remember what the other slices were as I only remember how amazing the red velvet cake was. The cake was still moist, as it was the end of the day, close to closing. We ordered a tiramisu cake for my mom's 78th birthday this week. She loves tiramisu, so this was a good find. I placed the order online and it was ready at the time that we specified for pick up. Everything inside the bakery looks wonderful and I'm excited to go back and try other things. We thought the tiramisu cake was very high-quality and delicious, but there was one problem: Despite being "soaked in espresso", there was no detectable coffee flavor whatsoever. It was a little strange. None of us could taste it, and if you know tiramisu, you know that is the very essence of the dessert. Never again. Coffee Bun, $4.29 - 3.5 Stars Legit and flavorful. Will buy again. Crab Meat Croquette, $4.69 - 3.5 Stars Greasy croquette, even after a light re-bake and wrapping in fresh napkin. Milk doughs are arguably the most versatile, malleable pastry doughs. They can be modified and manipulated to approximate many other dough types, and as interesting as it is to see this concept taken to this level, if you're looking for true-to-tooth French or Italian patisserie, you will be disappointed. Soooo yum. We went there on a Tuesday afternoon and they were pretty stocked still with many treats. As soon as you walk in, the decor is so cute and you're greeted by Paris themed chairs and tables. The service is nice as they are always making sure the cases are presentable and cafe is clean. The price is kind of steep but they are too cute. The cafe seating area simple and clean, and the instructions on retrieving your pastries are very CLEAR. I remember my first visit to Paris Baguette when I lived in LA. Back then, this chain didn't have many locations in the US and I was instantly hooked when I tried out their garlic baguette. Unfortunately the baguette disappeared a couple of months afterwards, never to make a return, but I started visiting Paris Baguette as part of my regular sweets rotation. After moving to the Midwest however, I learned that the quality of a Paris Baguette really depends on location. Every store I visited in Michigan and Illinois seemed only to churn out sad pastries, barely worthy of the brand. With that in mind, I visited the Paris Baguette in Lynnwood with a bit of apprehensiveness. Butter Pecan King Cream Donut ($5.29) - At first I was worried that the butter pecan topping would be too sickly sweet for my tastes, but surprisingly, the sweetness isn't overpowering at all. The donut is filled with a soft cream mixed with finely crushed pecans. It's very light and fluffy. The donut itself is a bit denser than a good yeast donut, but still compresses well without a trace of dryness or toughness. The topping creates a shell over the donut. It's mixed in with plenty of more coarsely crushed pecans and has a good pecan flavor. I'm not sure if either the topping or filling are 100% butter (or if any butter is used at all!) but they are both sweet, nutty, and toasty. Good flavor. (4/5) King Cream Football Donut ($5.29) - This is the same denser donut base with a bit of vanilla cream inside. The cream isn't centered very well - starting from the first side, I didn't actually reach the cream pocket until half the pastry was gone. The chocolate ganache topping softly crumbles as the pastry is eaten. Again, everything is not too sweet, which is nice. The cream filling is very soft and airy, not quite as dense or rich as pastry cream, with a whisper of sweetness; the chocolate on the outside is sweeter than the filling on the inside. (4/5) Overall I left pretty satisfied with the pastries I bought. This Paris Baguette location seems to be one of the better ones. I'm not sure I would make it part of my regular bakery rotation given the multitude of great mom and pop bakeries around Seattle, but I wouldn't mind visiting again when I'm in the area. First time checking out a PB, our location opened within the past year and finally got around to getting in after all the hype died down. They have cakes, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and other items, my review is just on my items purchased today. Tested out 3 pastries and a donut. The donut was a sugar coated twist and was very chewy which was strange, it tasted good but had an odd "pull" to each bite. 2nd was a pecan tart which was OK, felt a bit dry and could have used a little more filling. 3rd was my favorite which was the chocolate supreme croissant, filled with chocolate custard cream and half dipped in chocolate, my only wish was to have the filling more evenly distributed, it was only present on half. Last but not least was the apple turnover, tasted OK but nothing special, also seemed to be lacking filling. It's a franchise and I had never heard of it until it opened. It was OK overall, if I could give .5 stars I would give 3.5. Honestly though, I definitely believe there are much much better local small businesses that make exceptional pastries in our area. I also felt it's a bit expensive for what you get, the donut was almost $4. There are some phenomenal donut places around that for $1.25 will blow your mind. Love all the variety of pastries; hard to not overdo it. My favorite is the Mini Garlic Croissants, but they can be a hit or miss. I first had them in southern California, and they were so delicious, we couldn't stop eating them. So, I was excited to get some more here, but they weren't as good as the first time; they weren't as garlicky. The second time I got it here was better. But then the third time I've got the Mini Garlic Croissants here, they were dry and stale. Hopefully the next time will be good again. This place is worth visiting. Being HYPER critical I would probably drop this to a three star and here's why. The ambiance is great. There is places to sit and chat and they store is kept clean. BUT, it's crowded and the foot traffic with the door and people just make sitting in most of the areas awkward. The cakes look great. I tried a couple of the slices and they were indeed very very nice. They are very unique in that they do a little twist on traditional cakes of the same type. BUT, it's way expensive and you could probably get 90% of the quality in many other places. The pastries are a treat. Many different styles and types that are different than the asian bakeries that you will find. BUT, again its very pricey and they do a lot of variations of the same stuff so I would like to see more variety. This would solidly put this at a 4 star place, BUT the drinks are meh and the service is just so so. We like the desserts and savory options available at Paris Baguette. We recently got to try the Pepperoni Pizzetta and the 4 Cheese Quiche, which tastes pretty good once warmed up . The coffee and drinks are good too. Although it would be nice if everything was baked fresh on-site at this bakery, they are happy to warm up your food or sweet dessert upon request. We usually order coffee and lattes to pair with slices of cake, like the Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate Cake, & Salted Caramel Layer Cake. We love visiting during the holidays for cozy brunch days! The staff refused to warm the food in my order because they shut down the oven 30 minutes before closing. The bathrooms were also shut down. If I had known I would be eating a cold slice of pizza with a cold croissant, I would have just visited Starbucks. I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience at Paris Baguette. I ordered a pastry that had filling inside, and it was served to me warmed up--but no one warned me that the inside would be extremely hot. When I took a bite, the filling burned my gums badly. Not just a quick "ouch" moment--this turned into a serious burn that took over a week to heal and was incredibly painful the entire time. It feels like basic customer safety to give a heads-up when something has molten-hot filling, especially since it's not obvious from the outside. I was very excited to come here, as I picked up a cake from a location on the east coast and it was fantastic. The selection was much smaller than the one on the east coast that I went to. I got three pastries, one was the broccoli cheddar quiche, almond chocolate croissant and the ham and cheese croissant. The only one I was disappointed with was the almond chocolate. It was stale and did not taste good. It wasn't very clear if they would heat them for you and they only had one person up at the register. However, I came after lunch around 2:30pm they were sold out of a lot of stuff. The breads I tried the first time was not very impressive except for fruit tart. So I wanted to try pastry/slice of cake. The strawberry shortcake was fluffy and light (at least to me) with lots of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. I would come get for my family birthday for sure. The price $7+ for the slice which is pretty high. Americano was not as good as I I expected. It's definitely a great place for a cup of coffee with sweets especially in Lynnwood where there is not much option. I've been to Paris Baguette in other countries and was excited to hear that their first location in WA would be in Lynnwood! Seeing all the hype on social media, finally I was able to make it there last weekend. However, I was a little disappointed about their not-so-clean facility, and they didn't provide tongs for picking up bread. I used the paper they provided for picking up bread and put it on the tray which ruined the chocolate on my Chocolate Croissant. Nonetheless, the bread and cake I got were still delicious. But I probably would not go in for an eat-in as the facility was a little messy and not so clean potentially due to too many customers. The checking out process was efficient. Opening day for the new bakery in Alderwood Mall. Long line, slow moving. Thought we would get out of there a lot sooner than we actually did. Everyone was getting a tone of stuff and taking their time. Their Breads were decent, cakes too, not very sweet, definitely Asian standard on the sweetness. The best item we tasted was the lemon cream filled donut. It had just the right intensity of lemon flavor and the cream was light enough that it was not greasy. The prices on donuts, breads and croissants are not cheap, 4.50 for most items. They also offer cake rolls in boxes, fresh sandwiches in open face refrigerator, fruit parfait, and etc. There are a lot more items to try. Standouts include croquette, almond croissants and sandwiches, of which I am partial to the chicken salad with cranberries. It can get very busy in the Lynnwood location but lines move quickly. Would love to see them open up in the city as well! read more

They must still be working out the kinks since they are still new. I noticed that many items were empty, and there seemed to be only one person doing the restocking of items, so things were very slow to refill as well. Because of this, I didn't get to try many items. I walked out with a couple of items from their cake display, and only a couple pastries. $30 for about 5 items. The items that I did try tasted okay. Looking at the selection of items on their menu, there is not much that I would come back for. I would prefer their competitor just for menu items alone. read more

I waited a few weeks for them to work out any grand opening kinks and eventually found myself in the area last week so I decided to stop in. I found it odd that you have to use a plastic glove to grab what you want (there are no tongs). The price difference between the US and Korean shops was also very noticeable. I used to love coming here, but the service really ticked me off today. Three times they tried to service the customer who came AFTER me. They also ran out of cake slicers for me (the person who came first) because they prioritized giving it to the person who came and paid after me. I could tell even that some of the employees were annoyed by the weirdness they were pulling. Other employees kind of just did what their boss asked them to.
