    Cheesecake

Looks amazing from outside so we decided to go in and take a peak. Slices were around 11 dollars each. They were getting ready for closing up so I'll take a guess and say selection was light based on that. Customer service was okay, nothing great. Nice bright lights, conveniently located next to Escapology. The cheesecake itself honestly tasted like it had been previously frozen. The berry on top was delish and fresh and the chocolate addition wasn't that great either. For the price and what it was I felt it wasn't that great but I'd be willing to give it one more try but not at closing time.

Great place to get a variety of different pastries, and even hot items, and drinks! Clean spot, lots of parking, I highly recommend and I would come back.

Sweet and savory treats! Yum. (See review update)

We recently got another blueberry yogurt cake and also stopped by to try some of the smaller treats. The blueberry cake was, as always, light, flavorful and delicious. We tried a variety of smaller treats. On the savory side, the ham and cheese croissant was the standout. We also tried two different curry items, which didn't suit our tastes as well - but, I'd put that more down to personal preference. On the sweet side, the chocolate croissant and cherry w/ cream cheese danish were all-stars. I will definitely be back for an encore on those! Service was with a smile and helpful during each visit. We'll be back! The missing star? Pricing. Although, to be fair, most places are now very expensive and the mall location is certainly a premium cost.

What a beautiful assortment of pastries. What a fun way to select (most of) them--the Mexican bakery method: grab a tray and some tongs, and pick what you want (a method brought back to Asia by Asian immigrants to Mexico). And what a bright and inviting modern space. Looks great, but... the flavors are mostly lacking. Some items are decent, but most are bland and border on flavorless. If you want to eat just okay pastries (they do not taste bad) that won't really satisfy you but look pretty and are decent, then this is your place. I found the novelty enough for one visit, but nothing here calls me back.

Great food! Service was speedy. A bunch of people come in waves but it doesn't feel too crammed and everyone gets out fast- especially for a Saturday morning. Plenty of seating. It's like 85 bakery where you self serve pick whatever pastries you want The assortment is really great and I love that there are plenty of savory options. If you get the app your first pastry is free

One of those grab a tray & tongs and get whatever you like-kind of establishment. It's well known in country like Taiwan, China, and Mexico. This place is a Korean franchise, boasting over 4,000 locations worldwide; to compare, 85°C Bakery Cafe, Taiwanese franchise, is sitting at a modest +1,000 locations worldwide. Hot Dog Roll: Best pastry frank out of all the options they have. The bread is crispy and the sausage they use is Portuguese which gives a little nudge of spice. Ask for them to heat it up! Pain au Chocolat: Flaky, airy, buttery; however, very skimpy on the chocolate. Latte: Depending on which adolescence barista is on bar, they either let the machine automatically steam your milk, or have the confidence to do it themselves. Lucky for me, it seems like mine was handmade--it was okay. I asked and they said they use a medium roast. If you're not looking to gamble the quality of your latte or cappuccino, then I'd recommend getting the iced variant. Korean Milk Coffee: Very nice and refreshing--specifically this summer season. Not too sweet. Inside is spacious with ample seatings. I came in the morning so service was prompt and had no issues finding a table. Cleanliness: Tables are generally clean but some chairs and especially benches have crumbs on them. The display counter could use a wipe from time to time as bits and pieces fall out whenever people grab pastries or whenever someone refills them. Overall, pleasant experience, the pastries are more expensive than at 85°C. PB does have more options--no vegan or vegetarian savories. Lastly, to incentivize anyone to try it out--and to reward *you* whom read this entire review, they're currently running a $2 pastry happy hour from Mon-Friday, 3pm-6pm. You'll also get a free birthday cake slice and a free pastry upon joining their free membership.

I think this Paris Baguette has improved since opening. There are certain items here that I enjoy and would return for such as: 1. Matcha Latte - I am addicted! It's probably not the best matcha drink in town but I do love it a lot. I get it with whole milk and extra foam and it's just delectable! (and yes, sinful, I know) 2. Chocolate Supreme Croissant - among the sweet pastries, this is our favorite. 3. Pepperoni Pizzetta - I like this a lot! I heat it in the air fryer and it becomes somewhat crispy. 4. Coffee Bun - love the texture and the coffee flavor is just right. 5. Croissant Donuts - these are good too. 6. Baguette - we usually grab one when we're here and we have no complaints.

Love me a stop here for dessert. Came for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. My wife and I got several different slices of cake. I can't remember what the other slices were as I only remember how amazing the red velvet cake was. The cake was still moist, as it was the end of the day, close to closing. The frosting was light and whipped, and not too heavy. This easily is one of my top red velvet cake slices I've had. Oh, and the pistachio sweet cream cold brew was delicious as well.

    Burnt garlic croissants
    Shey Y.

1 star for very poor customer service and burnt croissants. Their garlic croissants are my favorite and I get them all the time. This time around they tasted burnt, I know how they should taste as it's what I always get. After spending $60 I thought if I told them they'd have the courtesy to offer me to trade them. They said it's because of the garlic and they can't trade them. I left the croissants with them. Gross customer service. I'll support a local bakery next time, not worth it. Also, inflation must have hit them badly because quality of everything has went down lol.

    Tiramisu Cake
    Britt B.

We ordered a tiramisu cake for my mom's 78th birthday this week. She loves tiramisu, so this was a good find. I placed the order online and it was ready at the time that we specified for pick up. Everything inside the bakery looks wonderful and I'm excited to go back and try other things. We thought the tiramisu cake was very high-quality and delicious, but there was one problem: Despite being "soaked in espresso", there was no detectable coffee flavor whatsoever. It was a little strange. None of us could taste it, and if you know tiramisu, you know that is the very essence of the dessert. So, while I would recommend this bakery for the quality, I would caution you to ask around from others who have tried certain things before going for it, especially if you have a certain flavor in mind.

    Strawberry Croissant, $5.99 - 4 Stars

I knew about Paris Baguette from the Bay Area, so we were NOT one of the people standing in line outside. In late Dec, I was happy to see no lines, so we went for the first time. Selections were reasonable at 4:30 on a weekend. Self-service to grab all the items, and pay at the counter where they pack. Fairly standard practice nowadays. The interior is café-cute with several tables to dine-in. The Food: Strawberry Croissant, $5.99 - 4 Stars Fresh, delicious, spendy. Might buy again. Strawberry Peanut Crumb Bread, $5.29 - 4 Stars The custard kicks it up a notch. Will buy again. Sesame Tapioca Bread, $2.29 - 1 Star Full disclosure: Ate the next morning. Hard as a rock. Never again. Coffee Bun, $4.29 - 3.5 Stars Legit and flavorful. Will buy again. Crab Meat Croquette, $4.69 - 3.5 Stars Greasy croquette, even after a light re-bake and wrapping in fresh napkin. Likely will still buy again. Curry Croquette, $4.69 - 3.5 Stars Curry version is greasier than the crab meat version. Will not buy again. Strawberry Mochi Donut, $4.49 - 3.5 Stars Surprisingly respectable mochi donut. Not as good as Mochinut but acceptable. Will buy again if choices are slim. The food averages to 3.3 stars. Rounding down.

Busy for a reason! Full cases with lots to choose from for both the savory and the sweet tooth. From mochi donuts to croissant delectables of all sorts. Of course there's coffee and tea, hot and cold as the perfect compliment to your baked treat. Lunch and to go item available in a cooler, including prepackaged macaroons, and roll cakes. Prices are a tad high to make this a frequented spot, but the flavors in everything was divine!

Soooo yum. We went there on a Tuesday afternoon and they were pretty stocked still with many treats. As soon as you walk in, the decor is so cute and you're greeted by Paris themed chairs and tables. The service is nice as they are always making sure the cases are presentable and cafe is clean. The price is kind of steep but they are too cute. The strawberry cream supreme croissant was so good and filling. The mochi donut was tasteful, kind of soggy but I get it, I went in the afternoon. I bet it's so good fresh. I tried their blueberry matcha and how refreshing and flavorful.

I'm not sure if it's because something changed on the side of the bakery (maybe recipe or personnel changes?) or on my side, having tried more bakeries around the area. On our last visit we bought two loaves of bread to accompany a butter tasting. Both loaves I found to be not nearly as high quality as I remember previously. Pane Bello ($9) - The crust basically doesn't exist in this bread. It's soft and leathery and doesn't give that satisfying crispness of a well baked bread. The interior, while having good crumb structure, is particularly dry and almost crumbly. The taste is mild, perfect for pairing with higher end butters. (3/5) Parmesan Black Pepper Sourdough ($9) - This batard has similar texture as compared to the Pane Bello. It has the addition of plenty of black pepper baked inside, spaced out rather evenly, allowing a peppery bite every time. There's salty and fatty parmesan baked on top, giving a caramelized salty umami. It definitely has more flavor than the Pane Bello, but suffers from the same textural issues. (3/5) We purchased both loaves at 10AM on a Sunday morning and they were consumed within 2.5 hours, so I don't think it's an issue with storage. I ate a bit of their regular foccacia at a work event too. It has a good crispy exterior and is salted well on the top. Unfortunately the interior isn't the best, having a really dense, chewy crumb. I'm honestly not sure what happened. I really loved The Cottage when I first moved here 1.5 years ago. Now? I have a number of bakeries I'd choose over here in a heartbeat.

They have pretty typical Korean bakery fare and pricing seems to be just a bit higher than competitors, probably somewhere around a 10% premium compared to similar family owned bakeries. On my visit I got two pastries to try: Soboro Cream ($3.49) - Instead of a delicately crackly cookie crust, this bun has a much softer, almost moist topping, which may be due to them placing the bread in the packaging before being fully cooled off, allowing the bun to steam too much. There's a bunch of sweetened stabilized cream inside that's sweet and oily. The bread itself is kind of dry and crumbly, either not a typical milk bread recipe or perhaps it had been sitting on the shelf for too long. (2/5) Corn Mochi ($5.99) - This comes with six pieces. The corn mochi has a nice chewy tapioca flour base. There's black sesame sprinkled throughout giving a burst of nutty flavor. I expected to see whole corn kernels baked inside but I think they just use corn flour in the dough. It's way less sweet than the soboro. Texturewise, the inside is bouncy while the outside has a harder baked crust. (4/5) Overall Le Bon Patisserie is a pretty average Asian grocery store-paired bakery. It's more of a place to buy bread for convenience rather than anything special, but it does the job decently well.
