Not at the same Starbucks but we saw each other at different Starbucks across the street from each other." -- Best in Show (2000) On a recent visit, I placed an order for an iced coffee and it took them almost 10 minutes to make (what?) and longer to make a tall PSL for my friend. The place was not busy at all, so I'm not sure what they were doing. I saw the ladies moving around and it looked like they were making coffees, but nothing was coming out. We worked inside for a couple of hours, which was fine. The place is large inside and has some nice seating and plenty of plugs, which is helpful. It isn't too hot or too cold to work in. Less than a week later, I stopped here on my way out of town and hit the drive thru. Three cars in front of me - 5pm on a Wednesday. 20 minutes from the time I ordered until I got my hot triple non-fat caramel macchiato. I just don't get why they are so slow. By the time I drove up, my coffee should have been handed right to me - nope. I still waiting a couple of minutes after paying. They need more people, or more competant people - I'm not sure which. Well, it is not very easy to write a review for a Starbucks coffee shop as the coffees and other beverages are pretty standard across all the branches. However, there are things that differ from branch to branch. One of the most important one, I believe, is the internet connection! The internet connection here is an ABSOLUTE nightmare. In midday, you cannot even listen to streaming audio from Sportify (which consumes almost no bandwidth). Browsing a youtube video is big no and even browsing regular internet pages can take forever. Another thing that differs across the Starbuks branches is how clean are their restrooms. In that regard, this place is definitely not on the top of the list as almost always the restroom is mess! Other than that, the drinks are standard and there is nothing bad or good about it (that is specific to this branch). read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

I work near this location, so I often stop by in the morning, probably two or three times a week. Their black coffee is fine, but their other drinks are a little off par. I got a green tea latte just now (I get one at least every week), and it was just abysmal. It tasted like warm milk :( with only a hint of matcha. Their iced coffee is hit or miss, too. This Starbucks is consistently below the standard, which is a pity because it's such a great location. Wish you would step it up! EDIT: I just found something hard in my drink! Ugh. I stopped by on Saturday night (1/17/15) and ordered drive-thru. I ordered a grande caramel macchiato, venti caramel macchiato, and a venti cafe latte. They put hot chocolate in the latte even though the sticker on the cup clearly said latte and the grande macchiato was half empty. HALF. The venti macchiato was only filled about 2/3 of the way and they forgot to give me the two pieces of bread I ordered. I parked and went inside to ask for the bread and the guy that was at the counter was very dismissive and the lady that handed me my bread wasn't very apologetic. Drinks have almost always been made right. Good space to sit. Parking at peak hours is a real nightmare. 4 stars because for as often as we frequent, no one there has ever acknowledged us as regulars. Too much turnover? Not sure. Asking too much? Maybe, but spending thousands at one store and remaining faceless makes me think not. Pro tip: if traffic on Windy Hill is a nightmare and you're trying to go/come a direction that's on the other side of the road, use the lights by the Chickfila and hospital entrance to get you there. I had the pleasure of visiting this Starbucks while I was staying at a hotel up the street in Marietta! I love the revamp of the new Starbucks application and the rewards! I was able to search the nearest location to me and low and behold this location was about 0.7 miles away and hopped in my car for that fun 2 minute drive. I suppose I could've walked but it was too windy! When I arrived it was nobody in front of me. I was greeted promptly by the friendly barista's and the one working the counter even made some strong recommendation on the new drinks they had to offer. First off I got to the register to order and the girl just stood there and looked at me. I had to greet her! Then I had ordeeeed a medium coffee $5.25 and only had $100 bill. She said I don't have change but could pay you in $1s and some $5s! I said your gonna give me $95 in $1s?! I said, "Before you inconvenience a customer like that for a five dollar coffee, maybe you should offer a free one this time around!" That way I'll know not to bring large bills and I will come back as your customer service was where it should be. However since they didn't and it wasn't I won't be back. I order from the Starbucks on Windy Hill literally everyday. It was part of my morning routine. I placed a mobile order this morning, and when I got there it wasn't ready. I had to leave because I would have been late for work had I continued to wait. I called to ask for credit for my order, and the representative told me to come back to the location. I called ahead on my lunch break to ask that the order be prepared ahead of time because I only had a 30 minute lunch break. She let me speak to the person "in charge" and she refused to get it ready ahead of time. I told her that I was literally 2 minutes away and I needed to walk in and walk out because of my short lunch break. She again refused to get my iced coffee ready ahead of time. This was a huge inconvenience! Very disappointed with the service today. read more

Normally I don't have any issues with this location, but after today I most likely won't be back. Me and my boyfriend came in to order and waited about 10 minutes for our coffee. The girls were too busy standing in the corner and talking about clubbing that they didn't have time to make it. Finally, they walked back over and called our order. Apparently, they made it but never put it on the pickup table and called it. Oh and let's not forget the rudeness of one of the workers. She called out the name of my boyfriend's drink, looked at mine, and said "I don't know what that is", and dropped it on the table and turned away. I don't know if they don't get paid enough to care for their job or what, but that's just ridiculous. I most definitely won't be back. read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks everyday for about the last 2 weeks and they have only gotten my order right twice... today will be my last time coming here. I ordered a mocha Frappuccino with raspberry and a bacon egg and Gouda sandwich with no bacon. Of course there was still bacon on the sandwich. I told the lady it was supposed to be no bacon so she got me another one as I'm pulling off I take a bite and it is still frozen....... then I took a sip or the Frappuccino and it tasted like pure syrup. At this point I didn't have time to turn around. A lady in front of me had held up the line for about 10 minutes bc she didn't get her points and it looked like they messed up her order as well. I come to this Starbucks locations 3-4 times a week. I've actually never really had an issue with this location. The drive thru is hidden and you have to be careful with cars( it's weired) you have to go through a parking lot and look out for incoming cars. But anyways. Depending on who's taking your order. They could be mighty fast or a little slow. Which I don't mind. Today I decided to stop by like I usually do. I ordered my regular drink(always order it the same way ) hibiscus refresher mix with lime ( no water) light ice. With fizz. They always get it right. And it's always full no matter if I say light ice. Well this Ladie I have no clue if she's new haven't seen her there before. She gave me a half full grande refresher. My husband Had just told me last week this had happened to him. I just said no way. Should have listened. I'll give it another try. But it's just ridiculous how you pay $4.45 for a drink half full. This Starbucks just got blazing fast internet from Google - I did a speedtest and got 50mb down and 15mb up. The service is great also. On my last visit they were unable to make my usual drink because they were out of it and so they made me something different and gave me a coupon for a free drink. I love this location! It's the closest Starbucks to where I live, so I've been here quite a few times at different times of day. The morning crew is my favorite. On those awful days when I have to be at work before the sun is up, it's a guarantee I'm going to Starbucks. The morning crew is always incredibly nice and friendly. They always are conversational, but not overly (I'm not a huge talker in the morning). They have never -- NEVER-- gotten my order messed up. Once, I drove off before they had given me my full order and drove back a couple of minutes later, and they prepared my order again, so it was fresh. Highly recommend this location! read more

I really like the cool relaxing vibe at the Starbucks, and the barista's are always very nice and friendly to all the customers (haven't met a cranky one yet). I haven't had any bad drinks since I started coming to this location, so that's a plus, and I always seem to find somewhere to sit when I come inside... Lol. Today I decided to try the new Caramel Chai Tea Latte (hot) along with my favorite cheese danish. It was very good, especially having a beverage that has always been a favorite of mine's mixed with my favorite syrup which is caramel. It wasn't too sweet, and the temperature was cool enough for me to sip without waiting for it to cool down. The only downside, is the location of this Starbucks. If you are coming from the interstate it is really hard to get on the left-hand side of the street where the Starbucks is located due to the heavy traffic flow always going up-and-down Windy Hill Rd, other than that everything else is great. read more
