I'm getting a bit too comfortable with this Starbucks! This Starbucks has a drive-through, which is amazing! It makes grabbing a quick drink quite easy. The Starbucks is located in Fields Ertel, near Walmart and a Red Robin. I have been enjoying my time at my fitness studio called Body Alive in Mason, and the Starbucks is just down the street. It provides a perfect treat after a nice workout. Last night, I grabbed a coffee around 8 o'clock. There really was no one else behind me or in front of me in line. I was able to ask the barista for some help on what to choose. She was very delightful and offered some great suggestions. I ended up choosing a flat white with almond milk and toffee flavoring. I was looking for something with not too many calories but not crazy-bold coffee flavored. The flat white is a great choice! With almond milk, it's only about 120 cal or so. I think next time I will try the flat white with honey. The barista's wore masks, and I do believe they also had on gloves. I have used a gift card each time I have went to the cafe, and they have been very nice in seeing what my current balance is left on the card. Its time to update this review, as these guys have moved their location over a block to a newer location that now not only includes a drive thru, but curbside pickup parking! This has really helped improve their customer service game. While I have not gone inside yet, I have consistently had good experiences at the drive thru! The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and my drinks come out perfect! What more could you ask for?!! This location has been recently revamped and looks much more updated now, there's even an added drive through. The bathrooms appear clean and updated. I decided to mobile order in an attempt to skip the massive drive through line this Wednesday morning (8am) which unfortunately didn't work out as smoothly as I had hoped because it was packed inside too. New location looks really modern. Some workers seem friendly, others just seem annoyed. More room in this new location, however that just means more people are flocking here! Tried to come here to get some work done in between two doctor appointments and practically had people sitting on top of me. Maybe try to add more seating and/or better seating with all that space you have in there. But overally, clean and speedy drinks considering how packed they were. We were in the Mason area and I needed a some caffeine. Really like the setup of this Starbucks. The dining area is spacious and not cluttered. Fully staff and waited on right away. I got the tall skinny vanilla latte (only 100 calories) and my husband got the venti ice green tea. We were out of there less than 12 minutes. Staff was very quick, efficient and friendly. It was pretty crowded too. My latte was not too hot, fresh and not too sweet. Made the way I wanted. My husband had no complaints with his. Restaruant and bathrooms clean. I love a good Starbucks and it's the layout here that I really enjoy. There is a clear path up to and around the counter without running into the seating area and feeling like you are in the way. Plus, every time I have been here the baristas have been quick and accurate--this is one of the more efficient Starbucks I've been too. Always clean and the staff is friendly. New location!!! The Starbucks on this road used to be closer to Kroger but it has moved down the road to a bigger building! I will start off by saying that I do not like Starbucks coffee in particular because I find that it is not really smooth, but I love coming to this location to work. Free wifi and this location is incredibly spacious. If you are in a rush though, I would maybe try another location because this one is always incredibly busy, both inside and in the drive thru. read more

I visit this Starbucks at least once a week. It's a great place to get your caffeine fix on the go or to order in and get some work done on your laptop. The wifi is solid here, which is not always the case at other Starbucks locations. The dining area is spacious, so you don't feel uncomfortably close to other people. The staff is great and knowledgable, they are always quick to give good recommendations and have never had any trouble answering my questions about their drinks. I'm usually a big fan of their iced coffee, but for today's review I'm selling the idea of spending 50 cents more and getting the cold brew instead. If you like the iced coffee, you'll love to cold brew. It's a smoother, stronger version of the iced coffee, plus you can still add in the milk and flavoring if you wish Personally, I almost always go for the carmel flavor and milk - it's a perfect amount of sweetness. read more

A pretty standard Starbucks and, unless you count the one in the nearby Kroger, the only location in Mason. Every time we've been in there it's been clean and well kept, and the service is always great. After only being in there two or three times they knew me and what I was going to order as soon as I came in - a fact I really appreciate. The only reason it loses some points are the lack of a drive through and the fact that, while there is some outdoor seating, space inside is severely limited and being the only real Starbucks in Mason it gets pretty crowded. If you're just stopping in for a quick coffee it's no problem, but if you're the kind of person who likes to hang out and get work done or study with a latte on hand you may have to fight someone for a seat. read more

This is a pretty typical Starbucks, although a bit weird to get to since while it's on a main road the complex it's it was designed to discourage you from going in from the main road. I picked up my coffee this morning inside, and there was a barista with very short hair (a buzzed style), I didn't catch her name, but she asked for my name and got my mobile order to me SO quick, and then proceeded to compliment my hair, "your hair is soo pretty!", and she was so warm and sweet, it makes me want to come back again for sure! :) it's hard to find genuinely nice people during a pandemic. she was so friendly and positive. her small gesture made my day so much better. read more

I use the mobile order in the Starbucks app and it has been great. The staff always get my order right only once was it wrong but I think it was a barista in training. They are friendly even with all the drinks and food they are turning out everyday. This may be the worst Starbucks in the chain. Constantly under staffed, long wait lines, poor inventory. If your in a hurry for a cup of coffee, do not come here. Today I stood in line while 2 employees were in the kitchen laughing and joking. This was at 8:45 am- rush time. Worst experience ever at a Starbucks! I guess because I'm not a regular they don't care. I order a venti white chocolate mocha and a warm banana nut bread. 1. They gave me the wrong bread once I got the correct one it was t warmed up. Waited 20 minutes for my drink but not before I reminded the barista that I still hadnt received my drink even though everyone that came before me had. Well, where do I begin? I come into the Starbucks location almost every single day. I LOVE the people who work here because they all work towards making exceptional drinks and giving great service. I love when the baristas can recognize my order and start my morning off with a smile. Now, yesterday I came in to order my usual, plus something else for a coworker and I did not recognize any of the ladies who were working. Bummed me out, but oh well. Upon placing my order, the woman told me she would not make my drink in the way I ordered because it is a health code violation. Really? I order this same drink every single day. Every. Single. Day. I order a venti frappucino with two extra shots of espresso in it. And in order for me to receive all of the espresso that I pay for, I always ask for them to simply put it in the trenta cup so I can drink all of my blended espresso-y goodness. But no. Today it is a health code violation. SO, instead of making my drink how they normally do the barista and her little echo who kept reiterating that it was a health code violation poured all that espresso on top of my drink. By the time I got to my car, the already overfilled cup had gotten some of it's deliciousness onto my hand. I go to take a sip and all I got was straight up espresso that had sunk to them bottom. Do you realize how awful that tastes when you think you're about to drink something awesome and you get a huge mouthful of that bitter espresso taste! Long story short, I was very angry. I called corporate simply to find out if this truly is a major problem or not. The kind woman did some research, and informed me that Starbucks does allow people to get their drinks in larger cups if needed, because they want to make every visit great. How kind. I called my Starbucks location to kindly inform the manager of this information that corporate told me and so that I can continue to get my drink the way I like it. I was so in shock at how rude and disrespectful the manager was to me. She kept interrupting me and was trying to get me to quickly end the phone call by saying "Okay thanks for calling. Have a good day." I wasn't even done talking to her or explaining why I called. Why was she rushing me? By the time I finally told her the purpose of my call, she was very rude and did not care that her employees had ruined my great experiences at this location. Needless to say, I will not return here. There is a Starbucks inside the Kroger's near this one. I guess I will go there and get better service. I am sure they'll put my extra espresso in a bigger cup for me. I will miss my fabulous baristas. So sad I will not be returning because of a rude manager. read more

The worst Starbucks I've been to hands down. For starters, no sign displayed outside of the building indicating there is even a Starbucks located here, very difficult to find. Then I walk in, place is dead quite (probably because no one can find the place) and not a single employee greeted me. Keep in mind there were 5 employees present and no other customers.
