this is an adorable place and the coffee is surprisingly good. One tip though is to go during a less busy time. We went late in the day on a busy weekend weekend and most of the cats were just "done" having visitors come up to them... this is completely understandable!!!! read more

Cats on one side. Tea and coffee on the other. Picture windows in between. Each side is great on its own, and the combination is fun. Went with my daughter and cousins. They looooved it. Kittens everywhere on the cat side, super friendly, with towers and toys to play with. All available for adoption, most very young. A few adult cats. Staff were super nice. We went on a Saturday and they were pretty busy, so a reservation would have helped. But we went in two at a time, while the others had something in the cafe, and it worked fine. The cafe side has a ton of drink options, a few baked goods and other snacks, and a couple of sandwiches. I got a caprese, essentially a grilled cheese with mozz, tomatoes, basil. Yum. Also an iced coffee blend, I believe the Norwegian forest cat? Chocolate, coffee, etc. Pretty good. Again, staff were great. A good place if you're looking to adopt, or just want to play with cats without committing to bringing one home. Note: GPS took us to the other side of the mall building. Went to Kitty Brew Cafe with the kids this weekend and it was an experience. I don't know if I've ever been in a room with that many cats before -- It was really interesting to see how they interacted with each other and defended territories. Definitely a good way to choose a cat that fits in with your life. Their personalities shine through bright! They even had some older cats who were SUPER sweet and chill! The cats played really well with JJ and Fitz I was impressed. I sat down in cat lady heaven and snuggled with a meek little black and white kitten. She looks like the rest of my cats . DO YOU LOVE CATS? THEN IT'S SIMPLE: VISIT KITTY BREW. If you are more on the fence about felines, here's what to to expect: A large room filled with cats for adoption in all the range of catness from aloof to affectionate to attacking each other to running across the room and climbing a scratch post just because it's there, to sleeping--oh, the sleeping you'll see. Next door is a barrista bar with the usual coffee and treat arrangement, like Starbucks only better with treats that are fresher and coffee not as expensive. Also, try the Italian sodas for those who aren't coffee drinkers. You can visit the website and see the cats before you visit. (I found a white one with really interesting dark patterns on his head, and it was strangely thrilling him to see him in person). There's comfortable furniture all around, and if you sit there long enough, someone will avail themselves of your lap. Or not. They are cats, after all. More seriously, this is an excellent place to find a new pet and take some of the burden off public animal control (and worse) authorities. The cats are healthy, well-cared-for, and ready for that ride home. Well, maybe not the ride itself (again, they are CATS and hanging out the side window is NOT their thing), but if you have a bed and a couch and window, your new friend will be happy to "share" them with you. (If that sounds a bit sarcastic, it's because I "share" my own home with four. We've been here multiple times. The cats are all spayed/neutered before adoption. Local animal rescues work with the cafe to get the cats and kittens adopted. This place is such a gem. Also they sell cat toys for really cheap, I wished we had known that but we didn't go to the cafe until after our time was over with that cats. The employees were friendly and answered any questions we had about the cats. My only negative about our whole experience is that there were people who came in with half a dozen small children. I'm a mother, I completely understand that you really don't know how your children will react to this environment and everyone should get to experience this. However the cats do not like loud noises or rough play and unfortunately that happened the entire time we were there. The employees had to call them down constantly. Sometimes age restrictions are necessary, this may be one of those times. Overall, I would definitely do this again. read more

It's hard not to love what Kitty Brew is doing for cats in the West Chester/Mason area. Located in the lower level of the strip mall behind Buffalo Wild Wings, the business actually consists of two separate store fronts. The door on the left leads to the cafe, which is open to all and offers a variety of food and drinks plus windows facing the cat area. The menu includes your standard coffee shop drinks ranging from drip coffee to espresso beverages and tea. Drinks come in two sizes: kitten and fat cat. I think the kitten-sized drinks (iced coffee and iced mocha) we ordered were 16 oz. They also have a selection of muffins and cookies available as well as bags of chips and some other snacks. Once caffeinated you can head back outside and into the door on the right which leads to the cat area. There are two sets of doors into this space and signs instruct customers to make sure one set closes before opening the next set to contain any would-be escape artists! The price is $10 per person for an hour of cat time and reservations can be made in advance through the website. Inside there's plenty of seating plus rugs, pillows, cat trees and toys. The cats have access to food and water in the main room, and can escape to two other rooms via cat doors to use the litter box or just get away from the people/each other for a while! It was lots of fun to pet, play with and cuddle the cats. As an adoption option I can see how the cafe offers a huge advantage over a shelter. The cats are free to roam around, play with you and each other, and they seem pretty happy about it! The number of cats we saw sleeping belly-up would suggest they feel pretty safe here. And after an hour in their presence, you get a much better sense of their personalities than you would in a brief interaction at a shelter. When we went they ranged from rambunctious youngsters to super chill older cats. Something for everyone! The staff was great about answering questions on the different cats and keeping things calm. For the most part all the cats got along, but there was one cat that had just arrived earlier that day that had one of the veterans a little riled up. The employees did a good job of diffusing the tension and separating the two when the situation got a little heated. My only recommendations: 1) It would be nice if there were cubbies or lockers to stash bags while playing with the cats. I and the other ladies were constantly moving purses around. 2) Most of the cats were into the toys, but maybe put out some brushes as well for non-play interaction. In summary I really like this place and want to see it succeed! If you're looking to adopt or just like cats, go check it out. read more

This is one of the most amazing places ever! I'm a major cat lover and I have wanted to visit here since I heard it was opening! On Thursday, 1/3/19 my daughters and I came in for a visit to the cat cafe and I was truly blown away by the staff and playing with the wonderful cats and kittens! From the moment you step in the door, the staff is greeting you and willing to help you. The cat lounge is also amazing for the cats/kittens are well taken care of.I could go on and on, because I was wowed! I'll definitely be back for another visit and when the time comes to find another feline friend I will start here. Thank you for opening the cafe and for helping kitties find loving furever homes! This place is so adorable! I would give it five stars but the drink I had just wasn't that good. It was $10 to spend time with the kitties, however, we weren't really wanting to do all that so the lady behind the counter let us go sneak a peak at the kitties. There were so many! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. There was a birthday party going on, but it was our fault we didn't check their social media. Be sure to do this before your visit! We only had to wait half an hour for the lounge to be free, so we ordered drinks and sat to watch the birthday party children playing with the kitties. We also made our way to the comic book store next door after we got our drinks. The drinks we got were fairly standard. The lounge was so fun, tons of toys and hotels for the kittens to sleep and hang out in. And lots of ways to interact with them. I'm actually allergic to cats but I didn't feel my allergies kick in until our time was almost over. The area also didn't smell like there were 20+ cats running around. I'm glad they keep it nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and were quick to tell us about each cat that we wanted to know about. We lucked on our first visit here - it was the first "kids Wednesday" (previously did not allow young children). My son (21 months) LOVED it. Our beloved cat passed away in January and we have been missing her so much. All the cats were incredibly nice, playful and tolerant of children. The owner and staff are super sweet and friendly. The other patrons were equally as sweet and friendly.I didn't even get to try the coffee we were having too much fun! We adopted one of the cats we fell in love with- we have had her a week and she is amazing. The adoption process was seamless and simple. It's such a brilliant concept- for people wanting to just chill with some cats, or if you are looking for a furry addition to your family it is the perfect environment to get to know them. I had visited shelters and agencies looking for our next cat, but had a hard time finding a good fit. I went here with no intention of adopting and "Helen" (now renamed Charlie) was just the perfect fit for our family. She loves monster trucks, reading with our son, hiding in Duplos and pouncing on her feathers. Super nice place- very clean, well maintained, definitely a place to check out! Went here a few months ago and can't wait to go back soon! For the cafe part: I had a cinnamon roll and a mocha, both of which were very yummy, no complaints here! For the kitty part: sooo many adorable, wonderful, fluffy friends. Staff was very kind and let us play with the cats even a little after our time slot. The place overall is very clean, I actually have a very mild cat allergy and I did not have any reaction surprisingly. The cats all had their own personalities and were so fun to interact with. What a good idea from some people with their hearts in the right place. This business has placed hundreds of cats with adoptive families since they've opened their business. So, "well done" on the rescue of these sweet cats!! As much as I love your charitable goals, I must admit that the coffee part of this equation is not as successful. I paid $10 for a latte & a mocha for me & my friend. They were both undrinkable. There was no coffee flavor at all in the latte; a hint of it in the mocha. We had to throw them away. The cats are so cute and well behaved. So friendly. I wanted to take them all home, but we already have too many cats at home. Sushi, Pawl, and Piper were my favorites the day we came in. This was a place my daughter has desperately wanted to visit for a long time so we booked an hour in the cat lounge. It is filled all sorts of adorable cats; most if not all of which are available for adoption. They have all of the cat necessities like the towers and toys and such. Lots of comfy seats are there and interaction with the cats is encouraged (within reason of course.) Most of the cats including Valerie who was my daughter's favourite (Wayne an orange tabby was mine) have been adopted since our visit here. They update this on their Facebook page each and every time this happens. They have a limited menu with some munchies including a couple of panini options which may be more than a munchy I guess. We had some chocolate chip cookies which were delicious and my daughter enjoyed her vanilla bean frappe. All in all this was a fantastic visit for us and it's wonderful what these people are doing for our feline friends. Thumbs as high as can be. read more

From little kittens who are energetic and playful to older cats who are great for cuddling, everyone can find their next cat here! Even if you aren't looking to adopt, it is still a great place to go with friends and get on the floor and play with tons of cats. However PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR SMALL CHILDREN HERE!! Not appropriate place for them. You are supporting such a great cause with their business and there is an entire wall of cats who have been adopted from their place. It is honestly so heartwarming. So great! I absolutely love the Kitty Brew cat cafe. I went there for my birthday and it was the best birthday I've ever had in my entire life. It was a little awkward at first because I was all like "Do the cats choose us? Is it ok to roll around in the floor? Is crying permitted?" But after acclimating, I had a blast. My favorite cat is Pat. He's a little older but has the coolest demeanor. I wanted to adopt him, but I'm not allowed to have cats at my apartment. I asked my gf if she would keep him at his place but she said we needed to live together before I could bring a cat over. So yeah. It cost a little to get in but I don't mind since the it cost to keep that place running... the person with the 2 star review is clearly a psychopath and can't be trusted. read more

I'm appalled by the person who complained about the $10. This place is clean and the cats are happy and well taken care of. I'm not sure how it could function off less than that! Anyways I had a great first visit yesterday. The cafe itself is super cute with its cat themed coffee drinks, cat artwork, and some cute retail. My coffee was delicious. As for the cat lounge, you can tell the owners really put some TLC into this. The cats have plenty of places to sleep, look outside, toys to play with, and space to run around. There is furniture for customers to sit on, and tables to set your coffee on. Overall the staff is friendly and it's a genuine feeling.
