There are a few plants hanging from the ceilings and the walls are filled with adorable art from local artists. I was warmly greeted by what I believe is a husband and wife duo who own the spot. They have a nice list of fun specialty coffee drinks and a pasty corner. I came at the end of the day, so there were only a few muffins left. I got a thin mint cafe au lait and a snicker doodle muffin. Both were excellent! The coffee was perfectly balanced and the chocolate inside seemed like good quality. My muffin was absolutely delicious and the owner offered to warm it up for me a little bit. It had cream cheese inside which ended up being warm and gooey. I sat and did a little bit of work for about 45 minutes before they quit. A few people came in for a cup of coffee and it seemed like such a lovely neighborhood spot. These are the moments that make me really grateful to be a Yelper. My drink was made incorrectly, so I let them know and asked if they could fix it. Instead of remaking the drink, they literally just put some syrup in a cup and handed it to me. No one offered to remake the drink or really seemed interested in correcting the mistake. I completely understand that mistakes happen, but if a drink is made incorrectly, I would expect it to be remade--not be handed a cup of syrup to try to fix it myself. I ended up paying for a drink that wasn't what I ordered and wasn't properly corrected. Unfortunately, this was a really disappointing experience, especially considering how simple the issue would have been to fix.
