Worst Starbucks I've EVER been to. Waited in line for about 45 minutes. Repeated my order 3 times, got to the window and had to repeat my order AGAIN just for them to just then make it. There were 5 baristas and still couldn't accomplish a simple task. I've been to Starbucks with 1 employee and still is quicker and makes good drinks. The drink was still trash. Horrible place. I'm a big fan of Starbucks, but this location was not the best. The person who took my order input the wrong drink- I ordered a pink drink, and we even had a conversation about it, so I know I conveyed what I wanted, but he input a regular acai refresher. When I went to pick it up (after a really long wait, my husband had gotten his drink several minutes earlier) it didn't look right. When I asked if it was a pink drink the staff seemed annoyed. They told me the printed label sticker on the drink said acai refresher. The guy at the register vouched and accepted responsibility. But then the person who made the drink grabbed it, fixed it (added coconut milk, not sure?) and gave it back to me. It was gone in 2 sips- the cup was 90% ice. I was so disappointed. As someone who doesn't often spurge on Starbucks I won't ever stop by this location again. read more

if i could give this location no stars, i would. for starters, we waited in line about 30 minutes which was fine because im patient and i understand some places may be short staffed. however, what i don't understand is drive through employees being rude. i paid for extra caramel for my husbands drink and when handed our drinks you could clearly see there was barely to any caramel, let alone extra. my husband precedes to ask "is there extra caramel?" and the lady states "i don't know, i didn't make it." needless to say, she should be thankful we had a game to go to in Chapel Hill. read more

I have been to this Starbucks several times and am usually quite pleased,however, this visit was disappointing. I visited about 6:30 pm on a Sunday night and waited in the drive through line for 21 minutes. I ordered two drinks and both were subpar. The first was a hot Mocha and tasted like black coffee and the second drink was a hot cinnamon dolce latte that tasted like butterscotch. I order the latte several times per week and this was the worst one I have ever received. I am hoping this was just a bad night for this Starbucks. read more

I stop at Starbucks when I'm on the road, because I like a consistent drink. This location was easy to get to, I pre-ordered, using my mobile app, my drink was ready quickly, and exactly as ordered. The space is large enough to work comfortably, if that is what you need, there is a drive through, and it is clean. My favorite part about my visit yesterday was the customer service. The barista handed me my drink, used my name, smiled, and wished me a great day. That is the sort of customer service I love to see when I've been in my car, driving for four hours, and need a quick pick-me-up. This visit made my day. read more

I came to this Starbucks with my 2 friends for coffee. We went inside and ordered 3 drinks. It took 30 minutes for us to receive 2 frappe's and an iced tea. There were 3 people working and there were a lot of people ordering inside and the drive thru was busy as well. The problem was that there were people who walked in 10-15 minutes after us that received their drinks before ours. Also, apparently someone didn't show up for their shift, which employees were talking and complaining about very loudly in front of everyone. For a caffeinated pick-me-up on the road, this is a very convenient spot for those needing a little something to stay alert. Starbucks is great for caffeine and sugar after all! Our experience was as expected...maybe even a bit quicker than we'd expect! We went through the drive thru for our drink order. Everyone was polite, and our order didn't have any mistakes. The drinks themselves are on par with those in this chain as well. Some of the other reviews state that this location still needed a lot of improvement from their opening, but - at least for us - it seems they have things running smoothly. I frequent a lot. Because I'm on maternity leave and it's the closest Starbucks for 20 miles BUT they are extremely slow. Once you enter the drive thru you are trapped. I'm talking 10-15 mins in drive line and you can't exit the line. Twice in the past two weeks I've been given the wrong coffee. I also recently watched them (with the drive thru window open) talk rudely about a customer attempting to order a traveler thru the drive thru stating "some people are so stupid." Not cool Starbucks. Generally, I wouldn't review Starbucks as it is a pretty consistent corporate chain. Today, however, my husband and I received such great service that I had to. Wes truly made our day! This used to be one of my favorite Starbucks locations. But the high rate of turnover and the lack of coordination unfortunately has left the shop very unorganized and inefficient. Many times in the last couple months, my order has taken much longer than usual to complete, drink isn't made right or the food was forgotten. I hope that it'll return to its glory soon. One time I could believe was extenuating circumstances but 2 times is one too many. The person at pickup area should not step away for any reason. The last two times I was here I asked for a peppermint white mocha...I got regular mocha instead. This time I asked for a Frappuccino and got it as a late instead...? Poor response with emergency issue. The lid was not on securely on my pour over. As I grabbed it, it gushed all over my hand. I was yelling for help, as I did not want to drop it and have a bigger problem. They just stood there, staring at me. They were not busy. I asked for ice, so one disappeared to the back. The other walked over to the microwave to get another order. I again asked for ice, the ice machine was right there and one finally handed me a cup of ice. Brand new Starbucks in Mebane, convenient when meeting the 'rents from Raleigh or popping into the outlet mall. Also nice to not have to deal with the nightmare that is the Sheetz parking lot to get a coffee. The staff was really friendly, but you can tell they're having a hard time keeping up with demand. Several associates were bringing cases of milk from Walmart to use, presumably because they had run out of their own. There's a drive thru also, which is a bonus. read more

THE WORST Starbucks I've ever visited. This location is consistently out of a lot of menu items and notorious for being slooooow! I sat in drive-thru for almost an hour (because once you in line you can't leave with the way it's set up) only to be told they were out of my drink. I like this Starbucks and, based on how busy it is every time I go, so does everyone else. Generally orders are filled pretty quickly though. I have had a few times my order was wrong or missing something but they have always fixed it for me right away. Also, occasionally they will give me an extra pastry for free, especially if I'm there at night and they are getting rid of those that expire that day. The staff has always been friendly, polite, and helpful. My only suggestion would be to add more "comfortable" seating as there are only 2-3 plush chairs which always seem to be in use. read more
