Recently they came out with their March specials including this irish cold brew as well as a cool fun lucky charms drink! The inside of this coffee spot is what really draws me in the most perfect place to relax and enjoy the plants inside as well as the sunshine coming in from the windows! The staff here are all so welcoming and eager to help you choose the best drink in terms of what your tastebuds like! Took my elderly friend out for our usual biweekly lunch date and decided to opt for a coffee shop, a new experience for her. It was nice to have plenty of room for her and her walker to navigate. She had a drip coffee and danish and I had a matcha. It was disappointing to drink from paper cups however, when we clearly were dining in. I spent $22 which is a bit pricey honestly for our order. Not a complaint, as of course I saw the prices before I ordered, but just full disclosure. Maybe consider adding some proper cups for those folks, would add a lot to the experience and help justify the cost. It was interesting to see that one half of the large space is seemingly available for rentals, so I will file that away. Clean restrooms and friendly service. The Blend was open at 7am which was super helpful as we arrived at 5 minutes past and spent an hour working out the plan for the day. Friendly baristas made a latte for Mrs. K. that she enjoyed in a proper coffee cup. My cortado was the proper two shots with steamed milk, served in a small ceramic cup. Unusual serving container but still delicious. We enjoyed a cheese danish and some wifi and some peace while we woke up and got ready to attack the day. Five stars for The Blend! I'll start off by saying, I saved several pictures from the countless times I've been to the blend and was planning to write a five star review. Lately though, I've noticed they have went through a management or ownership change and I'm afraid it's not "the blend" that it used to be. What was a coffee shop I highly recommended to everyone is not no more. Customer service is okay, it's just a place your order & give you your drink type of service. Not as friendly as the other baristas used to be. A few of the aesthetics are still good, but the new touches they have added are unpleasing. The coffee as well is displeasing. Our drinks have not tasted the same, once forgetting to add espresso shots to my latte. I truly hope this place can once again be a coffee shop we can love again. read more

While visiting North Carolina on a work trip, I of course had to find a local coffee shop. The Blend & Co is adorable, and located in downtown Burlington. I went on day one to grab a coffee, and picked up a smoothie as well. It was delicious. The next day I tried a spiced rose latte. I thought it sounded so interesting, and it was fabulous! I also tried one of their green smoothies, which was the perfect breakfast. Their menu also includes some food items like sandwiches, salads, bagels, and diff toasts. Service was super friendly, and it was beautiful inside. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be my go to coffee shop. read more

Good vibes and a great place to get some work done. Menu has a good variety without being overwhelming. I got the snickerdoodle latte which was good and not too sweet, and the coffee cake which was a little sweet for me but still very tasty. When I went to visit my friend in Burlington we stopped at The Blend & Co twice! It's incredible. They have a variety of nondairy milk options (like macadamia nut), smoothie bowls, and breakfast sandwiches on the menu. The food and coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. You can buy bags of coffee or coffee items like pour overs, French press, etc. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice and tons of plants! They even host other locals shops outside for various events or farmers markets. Overall a really cool cafe to work or hang with a friend. read more

Wheelchair accessible floor and bathrooms. Sensory friendly environment with quiet corners, a variety of seating choices, and natural lighting. FILLED with impressive beautiful plants. I wanted to live here. It's simply enchanting. The couches were buttery soft and comfy, there was room for small friends and big groups. I ordered a iced peach tea and it was delicious. I will absolutely be back to work here more. Such a creative and inspiring environment. Every time I am in Burlington or driving through, I always make time to stop in at The Blend. It is one of my favorite local coffee shops. All of the drinks I have had there have been on point. Over the weekend I tried their Blue Moon latte and it was the best blueberry latte I have ever had. They also added frozen blueberries to it which was a fun touch! I have not tried any of their food, so I will have to do that soon. They have lots of cozy seating inside as well as a cute garden right outside with benches and tables. It is always easy to find street parking downtown but there is also a parking lot behind the building. read more

Nice ambience and the girl at the register was nice. There is an 18% gratuity added to the bill if it's $20 or more - which is insane to me. If, hypothetically speaking, the service was bad, it would automatically charge me gratuity anyway? Ridiculous. We spent $34 on two large Mexican mocha's (that were more of a medium size), with oat milk and two cheese croissants. The coffee was great, but it doesn't justify the price. It was much better than the cold brew but had a slight sour taste I assume is from the oat milk that may have started going bad. A hidden gem in downtown Burlington! Burlington NC has a historic downtown district that, unfortunately, not enough people take advantage of. We discovered Blend & Co. almost by accident and were blown away with how good the coffee was. They also have a light breakfast menu. I can personally recommend the Mexican Mocha and "Charlie Brown". The atmosphere is very zen and soothing and the seating is comfortable. A great place for a quick bite or to hang out and unwind. read more

This is a cozy coffee shop located on Front Street in Downtown Burlington. I visited here for the first time in an effort to find somewhere comfortable to write. I ordered a tropical fruit smoothie and a red velvet cupcake. The smoothies was perfect. One thing I like about it, is that there is no added sugar. Many smoothie places add sugar and uh ruins the flavor. The cupcake was also tasty and well displayed. The staff people are nice and my order was done rather quickly. After receiving my order I found a table to sit at. There's plenty so seating here and several of the tables are located near outlets which is perfect if you need to use a laptop or charge your phone. They also have Wi-Fi available at no cost but it's password protected. Just ask the staff for the password. Plenty of parking nearby as well. All of the street parking is limited to two hours but there's a parking lot across the street that has some all day spaces. read more

This is a favorite place when I want to spend some time sipping coffee while reviewing work documents in a quiet setting. Parking can be a bit limited at times, and there are some mornings when I can't get an ideal parking spot close to the entrance. The only concern there is some of the local homeless population are in the nearby vicinity. I understand the Blend can't control that, but it is a factor that sometimes keeps me from visiting. read more

Happened upon The Blend & Co. while we were trying to kill time due to a train delay. I'm glad it there was a delay! Especially since we definitely stumbled upon this special place in Burlington. I'm always a sucker for the smell of coffeehouses and this place is no exception, the smells flood your senses with all of the goodness they offer here. I was looking for a pick-me-up and decided on a chai latte. Luckily for me, the barista? (Do they call them that here... not sure) but she offered the seasonal special chai latte that had pumpkin spices in it. Win-Win. Super impressed with the really relaxed and cool vibe of this place. You can easily meet a friend here or just get some work done - I'm assuming they have wifi - but they had plenty of nice sitting areas... even a semi-private large table for maybe a large meeting of 6-8 people?
