I even added extra sweetener, and I still couldn't get into the flavor. I ended up not finishing it. The empanada, on the other hand, was really good--flaky, fresh, and definitely the highlight of my visit. I'd come back for the atmosphere and maybe to try something different from the menu, but I wouldn't order the white chocolate mocha again.

It hit the spot perfectly on a hot Miami day. It's the perfect blend of strong coffee and not too sweet. Also tried the Tiramisu Latte as well. It was quite good too but not as special as the Gelato Latte. Highly, highly recommend it. I will 100% look out for their other locations across the world. Unfortunately looks like they are only in Miami in the US. GO GET THEIR COFFEE NOW!

Not gonna discuss the one we sent back but don't get the coffee lemon drink they describe as the most refreshing beverage you'll have in your life... it's not. Will give it another try. The coffee itself was good, not the best espressos I have ever had, but 4 stars. My issue with this place was the lack of sensibility. It is a relatively small space, and they had the music firing at such a high volume that you had to shout to get your order in; I feel sorry for the employees having to endure this; for me, I was glad to be in and out in under 2 minutes. So, unless you want hearing-damage volume-level music, I would avoid this place.

The on-site "manager" rang me up for two smoothies without asking (which was strange since I was there alone), taking the total to around forty dollars. When I questioned it, he admitted it was a "mistake" and claimed he'd refunded the extra charge, but refused to provide any receipt showing the adjustment, saying their system "doesn't print that." He was arrogant and condescending doubling down repeatedly, even offering to cancel my entire order when I kept asking for a receipt showing the amount was refunded. When he canceled my order, again he failed to provide a receipt of the cancelation. Only after I started recording did he finally get someone else, a cashier, to actually fix it in seconds. The manager was confrontational, defensive, and at one point even grabbed my shoulder to push me toward the door. Extremely poor customer service. Owners, you may want to retrain this manager on basic honesty and how to treat customers. This experience left a really bad taste. I've lived in many places, and this is by far one of the worst experiences I've had dining out. Stay away from this guy.

Visually, they looked exactly like the ones I remember from New York. Fun fact: In French, "maman" means "mom" or "mommy" ~ a warm, affectionate way of saying mother.
