I was in the Vaudreuil-Dorion area and decided to get an iced black tea before I headed off to shop. I did a quick search and found this cafe. I decided to check out the drive-thru. It looked so new and inviting from the road. I placed by order with a cheerful barista. They switch effortlessly between French and English. She made sure that there wasn't any lemonade in my drink, which I appreciated without any prompting! There is a lot of parking. I parked briefly just to take a picture of the cafe's entrance. The location is a bit hard to find but it's really nice! The lighting didn't make me feel very productive though, it's more chill for a coffee with friends. I don't think I'd get much studying done here. The good seating is most likely to be taken if you don't show up early, and they don't have outlets everywhere. I do want to visit again to get some food though, they have a lunch menu but I arrived too late to try it and I didn't want pastries.

They even have a burning candle in the bathroom with organic hand soap, which may not be a big deal to some but I really appreciate when bathrooms are clean and smell nice . Also, whoever made the music playlist deserves a raise, the tunes really set the vibe. The staff were very friendly and made my drink perfectly! I also really like how they serve their beverages in cups or glasses if you choose to stay. The prices are fairly reasonable, an Iced Matcha Latte is $5 which is cheaper than a lot of places I've been to. They have a selection of baked goods which isn't huge but honestly I rarely come to cafe's for their food, it's all about the drinks for me. Though I'll admit, their croissants are great! Buttery, warm and crispy. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so it's not too hard to find a place to sit, unless of course you come late in the morning on a weekend. I'll continue coming to Myriade because it's always reliable and comfortable.

On this particular day, the community gathered for one of the World Cup games. It was very fun to witness. I've never thought to watch a game at a coffee shop EVER, but why not? Even passers by had to stop from across the street to try and catch a glimpse of the game. I made a very long journey for what some Yelpers claimed to be the best cannoli but it was the smallest thing I've ever seen! I guess that's a thing in MTL. Small or large. There was no option here, but another MTL bakery had that option. As opposed America where one size fits all --- XL always. Anyway, quite disappointing but tasted alright. I suppose it's hard to beat a cannoli from Boston's North End. The coffee was well made but wasn't worth the journey. Perhaps I just had such high hopes. Otherwise, a great coffee shop and would definitely stop by if I was in the area.
