We all know what we're getting when we go into a Starbucks, but the baristas at this location are always kind. Even when I can tell they're having a rough day they are so nice to me and appreciative of patient people. My drinks are always correct and normally ready when I walk in or change to the drive thru at the last minute. The inside is small. Smaller than most Starbucks in my opinion, but I still think the people make it! This Starbucks is somewhat difficult to get into and park and honestly that's the reason for the 4 stars which they're not entirely in control of the parking lot/logistics situation. But something you should know especially if you intend on going at a very busy time! read more

There isn't many coffee choices in this part of town, so this Starbucks becomes the default. This location is a little chaotic with the drive thru clogging up the parking lot paired with the mechanic next door... make sure to look both ways before crossing. I've also been stuck in this lot before due to that same chaos. I will say that my most recent visit was a good one. I don't like sweet drinks and generally don't add anything because I don't want that artificially sweetened flavor, but I had a vanilla sweet cream cold brew done half sweet and it was pretty good. I also tried the sous vide egg bites for the first time and they were pretty good. They are also gluten free so that's a win too. read more

Easy drive through, the line can look long but it moves quickly. You do pass in front of an auto repair but you are definitely in the right spot! If you can, there is another Starbucks not far in a Barnes and Noble if you want more of the experience and seating inside. I went to use the Starbucks bathroom and was very uncomfortable. The stall on the left was trashed the toilet seat is covered in God knows what. The trash is gross in there as well. In the handicap stall there is blood stains running down the stall doors. There also is hand prints covering all the stalls ..and to top it off after having to use this bathroom there is no soap.. staff was notified a couple of hours ago and it's still disgusting and trashed. This crew takes great delight in properly caffeinating and delighting me in my daily travels. It's a great location, the drive thru is far better designed than any other I've seen and the parking is easy in-easy out and very different from some other locations I've been. A busy location, but the line always moves fast and customer service is consistently outstanding.

This is a mainstay for any Starbucks aficionado. I won't review the menu because, well it's Starbucks and it's corporate and it's the same wherever you go (give or take a tiny bit). Unfortunately, when driving down highway 17 towards downtown Charleston in the morning, there aren't many convenient coffee options. In fact, on the right side of 17, this IS the only coffee drive through. It is conveniently located across from Mount Pleasant town center. This is a very small Starbucks, with limited seating. There are only two armchairs and seating for a total of about 10. There are a few tables outside that one can sit at. The main problem with this Starbucks is how cluttery it feels. It is located at the end of a garage workshop and so when in line of the drive through to get your coffee, you are literally in front of raised cars with mechanics fine tuning vehicles. There is parking space in diagonal slots in a row right in front of the mechanics at work, along the length of the building. The drive through line also being right here means maneuvering ones car in and out normally results in several honks from a variety of surrounding automobiles. To add to the chaos the patio seating is right next to the drive through line, so there is a constant line of cars at arms length when one sits here. The ordering microphone is beside the patio seating and seems to be louder than your average drive-through ordering system. Be prepared for everyone to know what you are ordering so you may want to hold off on that whipped cream. Rush hour here is chaotic. On average at 7:00am, I spend about 12 minutes getting my coffee. If it weren't for the fact that this is the only drive through I wish to go through, I wouldn't come to this branch. read more

Except for the convenience of a drive in ... this is my least favorite Starbucks location in Mount Pleasant. It's a small store appended to NTB. There's just two or three parking spaces in the front with not much distance for me to back out and make a left turn to exit before I'm close to hitting a car that's in line at the drive up. Sure, there's parking on the side/rear ... but the walk is kind of dicey with drivers anxious to exit. There's just a few tables for outdoor seating, but the placement is close to the curb ... besides, I have a thing about car fumes. Ugh! While the inside is cramped, there is an assortment of hightops, chairs and tables so sometimes I take a few minutes to enjoy a snack and a beverage, though, personally, it's neither inviting, nor conducive to spending much time ... or meeting up with friends. I always find the staff to be very friendly, efficient and competent ... and that's important, too. That's shy I'm giving it 3 stars. Simply, this Starbucks is an in and out kind of place! read more

Typical Starbucks selection of coffee, tea, and sweet goods. But the location is small, and the parking is pretty tight at times. The drive thru always wraps around the front entrance and makes parking even harder. There is an outside patio if you can enjoy the weather here. Inside, very small sitting area, like maybe 4-6 tables. No other chairs. The service here can be so different. At one time service in all Starbucks was always so prompt, friendly and engaging. But here that varies. The worst thing is to walk in with 5-6 people working. Then have to wait to be greeted and acknowledged at the register, yet they are working hard for the drive thru customers. But I am not coming here to lounge around for social hour, so I get my iced coffee and go. It serves the need. Just be prepared for parking issues. It would be nice if they relocated to a larger full size location. read more

This was today's Starbucks choice strictly because of it's proximity to the car wash, which was on my Mother's Day wish list. Lobby still closed for sitting, but fortunately is was a beautiful day, so we sat outside. We were the only one's in the lobby and hanging slightly back to review the menu when a man ran in, and headed straight to the register. He was very confused about his order so we had to wait through all that sorting out. It seems all that unnecessary confusion was out of the staff's control, so moving on. It's always a bit of a challenge to order the deliciousness of a caramel latte or caramel macchiato less sweet than the standard pour. But, this crew seemed to understand the concept of fewer flavor squirts and replacing some of the sweet cream with regular cream. Surprisingly, today our much desired beverages came out as requested. It's difficult to get the exact science down in the drive-thru because it seems to get lost in translation. But today the delivered product was spot on. Thanks for the attention to detail. read more

This location is hit or miss. Today I ordered a grande caramel brûlée hot late and it tasted like hot milk. No caramel, no coffee. I watched the barista make matcha tea for 2 cups and their wasn't e pick for the 2nd cup so he poured some out of the first cup to even them out. Both cups were missing about 2 ounces of tea. A few other drinks that were waiting to be picked up were not filled to the top. For what these drinks cost they should be filled to the top. read more

The bathrooms are deceiving. While the sign outside the door shows a man & woman figure leading you to assume it's a one stall unisex room, there are actually a his and hers with a couple stalls in each down the hall. This location also has a drive thru. The great thing about this location is the friendly staff. They seem to like their job and it carries through to the service. They were happy to make some decaf coffee at 2pm. Great stop and convenient location. read more

The service here is good and they are pretty good at serving your Starbucks favorites; but the best thing about this Starbucks is that it is next door in the same building as NTB (National Tire & Battery formally Tire Kingdom). When I get my oil changed this Starbucks is very convenient to walk over to and have a coffee and when my car is ready get a refill. I guess my main complaint about this Starbucks location is that it is not comfortable. The parking sucks and it is always crowded, the inside only offers a few table, and there are not soft seats or couches for those who want to enjoy their coffee while waiting on an oil change or working online. read more

This is the closest Starbucks to my house. It is crazy busy in the mornings but I don't wait in line. I order form their App and by the time I walk in my drink and snacks are ready. I love this feature and am so glad I can order via the App at this Starbucks. My coffee is made correctly every time and I have no complaints with the service. I honestly would never go here in the AM if it wasn't for being able to order from their App. It is way to busy and the drive-thru is too backed up. The location is not optimum for a Starbucks as with the backed up drive-thru parking can be a problem. I park across the street and walk over and get my coffee and get back on the road. To me every location I tend to go to is hit or miss but this one stays consistent. It's always fairly fast even when there's a line. Parking is limited since it's connected to a busy shop next door so I tend to just go through the drive through. There can be several cars in front of me and it rarely takes more than five minutes. I fell in an unmarked, cement hole picking up an early morning mobile order. It was dark, no cones over the holes, no caution tape to secure the area. The manager of this place did absolutely nothing for me other than sending me a 1-800 number. I have yet to have any resolution to my injuries and smashed phone. I am sure there are many fender benders here because of the tight tight drive through and the tight tight parking spaces of which there are only three or four. I was nearby at Cactus and popped over here for a quad coffee.. The only thing I ever order at Starbucks because the coffee is sugar and cream and not much coffee at all. Enjoyed a croissant even though it wasn't needed after all the food eaten the day before, but it was screaming to be taken out of the case, warmed up, and eaten. Too bad it was warmed way faster than my latte was made because it was almost room temp when I ate it. Still tasty and I know the calories probably disappeared with the warmth - right!? HA! Drive Thru coffee is in most cases preferred over going inside, waiting in line, and then waiting for your drink. I may have to rethink this statement when thinking about this Starbucks - yikes! No time saved at all with this drive thru location. This Starbucks is in a convenient location right off the highway, they make my drink correctly and they have friendly barista's. The drive thru is not located correctly, it is located in such a way that the line of cars waiting for the drive thru impacts the ability to navigate and park in the parking lot. The purpose of a drive thru is for quick service (ideally quicker than going inside), this is not the case with this location, and it can easily take 10-20 minutes to even order, let alone receive ones coffee. This Starbucks is continuously busy for only one reason, the drive thru. Based on my experience I would park and go inside for your order, I guarantee you will have your coffee faster than the people waiting in the drive thru line. read more

Typical cookie cutter Drive-Through focused Starbucks location experience which typically equals busy Monday morning rushes, yet still efficient and typically friendly staff with edibles and some gift shop items, and tiny to no seating area, and the mediocre to average coffee drink. No surprises here, the staff were a bit friendlier than usual, the extra southern service charm that seems prevalent in SC. The downfalls are the location. I am not sure why they wouldn't add a location across the street in the larger shopping complex. The location is hard to find as it is tucked away, and the sign is hidden amongst trees and . It's also located in an unlikely spot- sharing space with an auto dealership. The parking lot is almost invisible, and the long line of cars in the morning going through the drive through make it tight to maneuver through the narrow area. Inside is definitely faster than out, but still some people. read more
