What surprised me most was that throughout the rest of our trip, despite visiting several other coffee shops, my friends repeatedly said Bitty & Beau's was their favorite. For those unfamiliar with Bitty & Beau's, the company is dedicated to employing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, creating meaningful employment opportunities while fostering inclusion and acceptance. And this is coming from someone who usually likes sweet drinks. At $10, I powered through it, but it definitely wasn't for me. My friend ordered another one of the collaboration drinks and did not finish hers because it was overwhelmingly sweet. Thankfully, my second visit redeemed everything. I went back to an old favorite - an iced matcha latte - and it was just what I was hoping for. Service was excellent during both visits. While the cafe seems to remain pretty popular, it wasn't overwhelmingly crowded. I still love the atmosphere here.
