Ok. I'm a douche. I reviewed this location from the tourist perspective and gave recently been able to view it from a different angle. The staff here is top notch, hard working and empathetic. I've sat at Starbucks every morning over the last several months and have witnessed the kindness that I didn't see in my previous review. Sitting there for hours you see the staff say " good morning " when people walk in the door. Even if they're flat out crazy busy someone on the team says it. I've witnessed the employees call people ( recognize them) by their first name and lists. To their customers. I e seen people ( manager perhaps) have a heartfelt conversation with an older gentleman that was obviously in the place where he needed to talk and it ended with her giving him a heartfelt hug. I've watched these baristas and stock people and team members perform in a way that I've never seen Starbucks employees before. Maybe it's all in the way we perceive things in the moment we're in and I wasn't I the right frame of mind in my review 11 months ago. This is a conveniently located Starbucks if you need to stop for a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast on your way to the beach. The building has a LEED certification which means it was designed with environmentally sound concepts and materials. It has a nice outdoor patio as well as a drive through. Inside there is a long banquette with tables which is a great spot to work at a computer. It offers some loose tables and chairs as well. They also offer the draft coffees at this location. I love that Starbucks offers egg bites! It's a great low carb option. And having almond milk as an option for your lattes is a plus. Starbucks is always a reliable source. read more

Ordered 2 hot teas with no issue and taste was fine compared to other Starbucks that I've been to. Only complaint is we did not give a name upon ordering so we were left scrambling to figure out cups at pick up spot since the workers didn't call out any names. read more

I know they're super busy that's why I always give them extra time and do an mobile order ahead. I order at 9am. It said my order would be ready at 9:43 so I went to pick up at 10am, first of all they don't even acknowledged you when you get there, not even to say "I'll be with you in a minute" it took me 10 minutes to grab someone's attention and once I did, they were bothered and RUDE! Very friendly staff however the inconsistency in my coffee is slightly frustrating. I now work near this Starbucks making this my closest one and I always order a salted Carmel cold brew at least twice a week. Out of the last 5 times only 2 times was it made correctly. Drew makes it right and I don't think anyone else knows how to. One time it was literally just ice coffee and another I had them remake it but it turned out the same. Usually I never have problems here but their customer service is not great at all. Today tried 5 times to get their attention after waiting for an online order, raised my voice because I needed their attention including another customer and they insulted me becaused I yelled. Sorry if raising my voice to get your attention bothers you, but your customers come first. And that crapy excuse of the machines are not working is no reason to ignore customers, at all! read more

I can't believe the reviews for this Starbucks are so low?!?! I love this one, it is located right near both of my jobs. I stop here almost everyday in the afternoon. The afternoon drive thru staff are the BEST!!! I love them, they are super polite and get me in and out of that line very fast. Went to Starbucks like I have ever since this location first opened, but it seems to have taken a huge turn for the worse. Ordered a tall latte today and the charge for my beverage came out to be $4.01. I gave the "barista" a $5 dollar bill. Since I had gym shorts on with a tiny pocket and no change, I politely asked if the barista could give me a dollar bill for change and that I would go to my car to get a penny. A normal reaction to keep a customer satisfied would be to say "no problem, I'll give you a dollar and I'll just take the penny out of the tip jar". The barista instead acted annoyed and said "go ahead and go to car". I went to my car and had no change at all. I then came back into the store and asked again if the barista would give me a dollar and that I would return afterwards and give the barista back a penny since I live across the street. Surprisingly the barista "doubled down" and made some lame excuse as to how thy could not take any money from the tip jar. Finally I asked if the manager on duty and if they could give me a penny. The manager gave me a penny and finally the "barista" reluctantly gave me a dollar. Never have I had this kind of a reaction with a transaction over a penny. Usually with change, a clerk or checkout person would say" keep your penny it's easier and less time consuming to give you a dollar bill." Starbucks needs to do some serious customer service training with this employee. People in the store were alarmed not by my reaction, but by the extreme pettiness of this employee. I have lodged a complaint with Starbucks customer service line and hope to hear from the regional manager. Starbucks has generally been customer friendly with the locations I have gone to in Southwest Florida, but I seriously feel as though there is something seriously wrong with this one at 850 Old Trail Drive in the Parkshore area of Naples,Fl right by Tide Dry Cleaners. read more
