    Turkey panini with tea!
    Amanda C.

I like coming to The Brick when I have to work in Naples. I can usually find parking nearby and they have plenty of options. I got a speciality coffee at first but hung around until lunch and had a turkey panini. I also got a raspberry black tea. The servers are friendly and there are plenty of places to sit and plug in your computer if need be. They also had good WiFi and music. Worth checking out if you need a place to hang out and have some coffee at.

Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Parking was fairly easy. Food and coffee were good! Breakfast and lunch items.

Cute little spot on 5th Avenue. They have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The coffee was so so, but we needed and afternoon pick me up. I've definitely had better coffee, but it was okay! I just thought it was odd how they made their cappuccino.

Quaint coffee bar along 5th Ave a few doors down from Shelly's. The raspberry truffle mocha and turtle mocha are excellent bevs for after dinner or dessert. Indoor and al fresco seating. A+

What a cute little coffee shop! First impression is that the barista is so sweet and makes some good coffee! My caramel latte was just right and not to sweet! They have a pretty large menu for a coffee shop so there is something for everyone. Sandwiches, pastries, and more! Vibe wise it feels like a really cozy coffee shop! Nothing gimmicky or flashy, making it perfect for a relaxed cup of joe! There is plenty of inside seating for those hot Florida days and street parking right out front! And the best part is FREE WI-FI! Will definitely come again next time I'm in Naples!

Turkey Breast sandwich is very good.

Popped in during the St Patrick's Day parade to grab a sandwich. They make the sandwiches to order. The turkey was fresh, as were the veggies with it. The chicken salad was excellent. Both came with chips. Service is friendly and efficient. Both indoor and outdoor seating and in addition to coffee they serve beer and wine.

Foamy, rich and decedent. The coffee to foam latte is perfect. It does make you want more though. And the foam is so thick it's scoop-able! People complain that it's not enough coffee and way too much foam. It's supposed to be like this. Plus, the ethnic feel of the place and the love put into every drink is well done and these drinks are NOT American in a sense where you know what to expect from Starbucks. Bloated, and over sugared. Don't get me wrong. Starbucks has its own style and that's ok! There's a time an place for sure an the wifey love it. When we want a real treat however, we don't go to Starbucks. We go to The Brick. If your in Naples, or are traveling though, come here. The food: It's passable. The muffins are decent. The savory food is OK but the coffee is where it's at.

Lox panini - too dry. No exciting fillers.
    Zita M.

My panini was as dry as a toast. The chips that came with it wasn't even put on my plate but a small bag of Lay chips was put next to my food. I don't know where that dirty bag came from - please don't put it next to my sandwich. Also why Lay ? It's the unhealthiest brand. Do a kettle cooked or baked instead of the horrible conveyor belt deep-fry. Being so close to the ocean I expected this place to be more eco conscious - meaning no styrofoam cups and plasticy packaging. Almost all restaurants in the area use paper straws and eco friendly containers.

This is some of the worst coffee I've ever had. Super bitter and not consumable. The inside is fine- a good place to rest and use the toilet after some shopping on the main drag in Naples. Otherwise, can't think of a reason to go.

Heard they had some crazy sandwiches. Located inside a strip mall, parking was relatively easy. The decor inside was punk grunge style I would say. I asked for what their top sellers were and they directed me towards "The Twang". Which was sliced chicken breast with honey mustard, onions, American cheese and crushed bbq chips. I was told the way to get it was toasted and so that's how I got it. It was a good sandwich or hoagie but I'm not sure if maybe I'm spoiled from living in Miami but crushing chips and putting it on a sandwich is not what I would consider creative. And I thought $15 for a 12 inch without a soda or a side seemed a bit much. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. And hats off to whoever calibrated the soda machine. It was perfect balance of syrup and gas. Overall it's a good spot but nothing I would rave about.

After my experience on Thursday, February 12th, that's over. At 6:05 PM, I placed a small online order (mozzarella sticks, a calzone, and a sandwich) through their website, as I always do. Estimated pickup: 29 to 34 minutes. I arrived at 6:41 with my wife and kids in the car. Food wasn't ready, but "five more minutes." Fine. Five turned into twenty. Twenty turned into forty. During that time, I watched the staff take phone orders and quote every customer "20 to 25 minutes," no matter the order size. When I asked what the holdup was, the staff, who were genuinely doing their best, explained that new kitchen staff were struggling. My son was starving, so I left to grab him food elsewhere and came back about 30 minutes later, confident my order would be waiting. It wasn't. At 7:35 PM, ninety minutes after placing a three-item order, nothing was ready. I asked the staff why they were still quoting 20-minute turnarounds when the reality was 90+ minutes. I suggested they pause online ordering to let the kitchen recover. They told me the owner, Jared Grifoni, has instructed them to keep online orders on and to continue telling customers 20 minutes, despite knowing the kitchen is nowhere close to meeting that timeline. That's not a bad night. That's a policy decision to mislead customers for the sake of revenue. I requested a refund. As it was being processed, two of my three items finally came out. When the staff asked the kitchen about the last item, the answer was: "I have no idea when we'll get to that." I left at 7:46 PM, one hour and forty-one minutes after ordering. To be clear: the staff on the floor that night are not to blame. They were put in a no-win situation and handled it as well as anyone could. The issue is ownership making a conscious choice to overload the kitchen, deceive customers about wait times, and let the staff absorb the fallout. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full. When I left, it was almost empty. I won't be adding myself to either count again.

5+ Star Review for Mercato Italiano…read more From the moment you walk into Mercato Italiano, you know you have found something special. This is not just a café. It is an experience that brings authentic Italian flavor and warmth right into the heart of Naples. Let me start with the espresso. The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the quality in every sip. It had that true Italian profile, bold but never bitter, and it set the tone for everything that followed. Now the food. I ordered a croissant sandwich, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The croissant itself was fresh out of the oven, light, flaky, and buttery in all the right ways. Inside, I had two sunny-side-up eggs cooked just right, paired with prosciutto, bacon, and ham. The combination of flavors was incredible. Every bite gave you a perfect mix of savory, rich, and slightly salty notes, all brought together by that warm, delicate croissant. What really stood out was the presentation. This was not just a sandwich thrown on a plate. It was carefully arranged on a platter, clean, inviting, and done with pride. You can tell they care about every detail. The atmosphere completes the experience. The energy inside is welcoming, relaxed, and full of character. It feels like a place where people come not just to eat, but to slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment. Whether you are stopping in for a quick espresso or sitting down for a full breakfast, the environment makes you want to stay. The experience was outstanding along with the service that made you feel like Family. If you are anywhere near Naples, this is a must-visit. Mercato Italiano delivers on flavor, presentation, and experience at the highest level. This is easily a 5-plus star spot, and a place I will return to again without hesitation.
