It was less than enjoyable because of all the flies! Ugh! Didn't like that! I had coffee with my sister who traveled from Glenview to Normal. They also changed the seating around the corner too. I like it better before. Will try again but the flies are so annoying!!!!! read more

30 minute wait for 2 drinks! Have been coming to this location for well over a year and it's always pretty decent but they seem to always be so short staffed for such a busy location so usually a 10 minute wait or more but we Just waited 25-30 minutes for 2 drinks. Wasn't happy to wait that long so we ended up leaving as it seemed the mobile orders were more of a priority than the people ordering in person which seems ridiculous and not very efficient. No telling how long it would have been before our order came out. Definitely don't mind not going back to that location especially after the visit today. No reason why there's 6 mobile orders made before my order and everyone else waiting in line. Only 1 person came to pick up a mobile order that was made before all of our orders. And I don't know what they did to their pumpkin spice latte but it's a waste of time and money at least from this location maybe it's just Starbucks. Either way plan to wait anywhere from 10-30 minutes for your orders. read more

Customer service is great. Everyone is so friendly. One even wished people a "sparkling day!" One barista noticed I was sitting there for a long time and gave me ice water. It was a hot day so greatly appreciated. Only negative is there were like 4 flies that were constantly flying around (seemingly biting people) that could easily be remedied with one of those air vents at the doors. read more

7 staff, long line outside, no line inside. No customer service. Dirty. No eye contact at the counter, told me to scan my item, didn't understand what she meant, she was rude and did it herself. I said, "you don't scan items anymore." Actually curious. Glare. I worked at Starbucks in the 2000's in San Francisco. Things have changed. We focused on providing excellent customer service, cleaned the bathroom every hour, made sure things were stocked. And made drinks using a real espresso machine. I'm disappointed in the overall poor management at most Starbucks now. It's rare to find a clean and friendly and well-managed one. read more

I go to college a few minutes away from here so this was my first visit to this Starbucks location in Bloomington-Normal. I did an online order. It was fast and overall my drink was pretty good. The barista Aiden was the absolute BEST Starbucks worker I have ever encountered at any Starbucks I've ever been to. Aiden absolutely made my day and I will be coming back!! read more

Absolutely love this location! All the workers and manager are super nice. I come to this location a few times a week, including early in the morning before work. Like any Starbucks it does get busy depending what time in the morning, there can be a rush. Even so the workers are still so nice and so helpful, this is for sure my go to location!!! read more

Awful customer service. I only come here once every few months when I'm on my way to Chicago because it's conveniently located off of I-55. The first time I've visited, their sticker machine broke and instead of going back and confirming everyone order that may have been missed, they kept taking new orders and I waited nearly 30 minutes for my 1 drink. The most recent experience was today. Ordered 2 drinks and 2 hot sandwiches. The drinks were made quickly but our sandwiches sat near the oven for 10 minutes. There were employees who weren't taking care of customers and didn't bother making our sandwiches. No one acknowledged us, in fact they avoided us despite us standing near the espresso machine while every customer after us came and went. I'll never go back to that location again. read more

Staff was incredibly kind and were working in overdrive to keep up with the amount of customers. Nothing but good things to say about the staff members and their work ethic. However, today was the second day in a row where the drinks were more than 30 minutes behind despite the app saying 5-8 minutes. If people are using mobile order, chances are it's because they are short on time. Yesterday I wasted money on a drink I couldn't get because it would have taken longer to wait for my drink than it would have to drive to my own house and make coffee myself. Today the same thing almost happened, however luckily I had the literal 20-25 extra minutes to kill. What's going on in management at this store? I can't say I will be returning to this starbucks, it would genuinely take less time to go to the starbucks that is 10 minutes out of my way and to order there in person after waiting in a line than to even place a mobile order 15 minutes ahead of time at this Starbucks. Im not sure if management is penny pinching by short staffing because they think corporate actually cares about them personally, but this was clearly not a result of the employees lack of hard work. It seemed they were heavily short staffed to a point they were 30 MINUTES BEHIND on hot drinks. I hope management is happy because instead of "wasting" their money on properly staffing the building, they've shifted those costs to the consumer by making me have to leave the store to go to work because without the drink i already overpaid for because my drink is 20 minutes late and I can't wait any longer and I certainly don't have time to wait in their line for a refund at that point. Either management is employing predatory tactics to waste consumer money instead of store money to look good for corporate (which is awful), or more likely management is short staffing so much with such a lack of respect for their employees incredibly hard work that it is causing this starbucks to become locally known as the starbucks you only go to when all the others are closed or too far away. I will be avoiding this Starbucks like the plague until management gets their act together and stops overworking their employees who are clearly understaffed. I love starbucks and I've had nothing but good experiences at all the starbucks in town except this one, I would love to return because this starbucks is closest to my work but until it isn't faster to go 10 minutes out of my way to go to a different starbucks I will not be returning. read more

My husband and I went through the drive thru and our order was incorrect. My husband asked for sweetener for his coffee, but we were told they were out. They were also out of just about everything. We got half of order, and while we waited for the other half the employee at the window proceeded to stick her hand down the back of her pants to apparently scratch an itch...$18 of coffee in the trash. read more

It's been a while since I've been to a Starbucks that has bad service. But this one does. It seems like the employees are scatter-brained and do not know how to multitask. I ordered a mobile order 12 minutes away and when I got inside I still waited 5 minutes before the barista started my order. There were 3 customers inside, and nobody in line. All I have to say is don't be in a hurry. This is by far the SLOWEST Starbucks I have ever been to in my entire life! I love Starbucks, but if this location happens to be the only one available to go then I would have to pass and get coffee from a gas station than wait in their lines. The staff is dry on top of having you wait 22 minutes in line because the drive through doesn't allow you to exit after your order is taken. Needless to say if you are in a rush avoid this location!!!!! read more

Barista named Derek was not welcoming or positive at all when I came to the window. I come to this Starbucks quite often and this time I was angry enough to write a review. I was redeeming my birthday coupon and as I approached the window, Derek basically complained to me that I didn't forewarn him that I would be using my birthday reward. Proceeded to get frustrated and then made me feel super uncomfortable. If I come back to this one, which I most likely will, I am Hoping I get better service. read more

We went to this location this morning about 10:00 a.m. There was no one else in line at the counter. There were about 7 employees milling around and we waited at the counter but no one even acknowledged us. I finally stopped someone and asked if they had any gluten free items. The girl rattled off the name of something and walked off. We couldn't find the item anywhere. So we're still standing at the counter and the seven employees aren't doing anything. I finally asked why no one was waiting on us. One of them says to the others, "who is on the counter?" No one answers her and she never even looked at at us and no one bothers to come wait on us. They can see that we are getting upset, still no one acknowledged or spoke to us much less apologized. Needless to stay we left. We will NEVER again set foot in a Starbucks. We have never before been treated so rudely anywhere. read more

Nice, new and clean location. Stopped by here after running in Constitution Trail. This is not the location I normally stop at. Ordered my drink and also got a couple boxes of pods for my Verismo machine. The staff was friendly and my drink was exactly how I ordered it. I have been disappointed by this Starbucks before... until TODAY! In previous experiences (earlier this year) my drinks would be made poorly. More times than not when I come to this location they mess up my order which is unfortunate as it is so close to my house. They messed up my order today in the drive thru, so I went inside and they were very rude I almost thought they weren't even going to make my drink. This is the second time we've visited this Starbucks and had to wait over 25 minutes and our drinks were never prepared. There were at least 3 employees working and it wasn't busy. We were in for parents weekend and I needed my Starbucks fix. We had just gotten off of the highway and there was a Starbucks yahoo!!! What a nice location however the barista we got a chance to meet I think her name was Livi awesome!!! She was so nice and recommend a cold pumpkin spice. I have given this place so many chances because it is the coffeeshop nearest to my house and its on the way to hop on the interstate. Never once have I left impressed by the service or the product. First, they are *always* out of my favorite type of tea. Second, their coffee is so strong that by the time I add enough cream to make it palatable, its not longer hot and there is not microwave to warm it up. The employees always offer to add more coffee to heat it up. But I'm trying to avoid the taste of your coffee! Please don't add more! And finally, the point of me ordering a drink in my own cup is NOT to make the drink in a plastic cup and then pour it into mine and throw that plastic cup away behind the counter!! read more

Let me tell you about my Starbucks story: One brisk autumn morning, all I wanted was a flat white. As a previous Starbucks employee, I had made plenty of these in the past. So, I placed my order and waited patiently along the other customers. As I observed the barista, I started to become concerned. I had watched her steam almond milk without sanitizing the steam wand from the previous drink. I thought to myself ...how unsafe. I let this go and continued waiting for my drink. FINALLY, my name was called. In excitement, I lifted the lid of my drink expecting a white dot, but I couldn't have been more disappointed. There was no dot, only 2 inches of foam!!!! Obviously frustrated, I took the drink back and asked for a new one seeing as this drink was nowhere close to what I wanted. When my new drink finally came, I checked again for the small white dot and, again, was disappointed to see a drink even messier than before. Clearly, this barista did not know how to make a flat white. While I understand the pressures of making numerous drinks at once, I am extremely disappointed that I received the wrong drink not once, but TWICE. Will not return and do not recommend going there. read more

I only gave this place two stars because their drive thru isn't as topnotch as the others in Bloomington-Normal. I was the only one in line and 6 minutes for one tall latte is a bit of a long wait. The two girls working inside seemed more interested in talking with the patrons inside than they were with making my drink. read more

Worst Starbucks I've been too! Unorganized and poorly managed. Placed a mobile. Said 4-9 mins. Got there 5 mins later. 1 of the drinks was done and was waiting on the other. Only 1 girl making drinks. 1 watching the microwave cook stuff. 1 working the window. 1 cleaning a bathroom. 1 standing in the back room. And there was a full drive through line, 5 people waiting for mobile orders, 3 people waiting for inside orders, 5 people in line ordering.
