I visited the Starbucks at 228 Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA on a rainy day after finishing work because I wanted a hot cappuccino. I chose Starbucks over Dunkin' because I expected a higher-quality beverage. I ordered a Tall Cappuccino and a loaf of banana bread through the drive-thru. After paying and receiving my order, I immediately noticed that the cup felt unusually light. I opened the lid and tilted the cup to about a 70-degree angle, and there was very little liquid coffee inside. I understand that a cappuccino contains a significant amount of foam, but I did not expect to pay $5.75 for what appeared to be about one-quarter coffee and three-quarters foam. I politely got the attention of a team member at the drive-thru window and explained my concern. She looked at the drink and asked me to wait. A couple of minutes later, she handed me another Tall cappuccino. This one was much heavier, but it contained mostly coffee with only a thin layer of foam on top--and the coffee was cold. At that point, I was very disappointed. The reason I chose the drive-thru was because it was raining and I didn't want to get out of my car. Instead, I had to park, go inside the store, and return the drink. I told the team member that I wasn't asking for more product--I was simply asking for a cappuccino prepared correctly. I value quality over quantity. What disappointed me the most was not just the beverage itself, but the way my concern was handled. I expected better product consistency and customer service from Starbucks. This experience fell well below those expectations. read more

Locked with counter service stood doen? People standing around outside waiting for mobile pickups?! And drive through 25 cars deep! I am hoping for 2017 YELP adds a spot for zero stars because this place is AWFUL!!! There was a line out the door and the 3 staff on duty were laughing, texting, and just goofing off. I thought someone in line was going to jump over the counter and attack them. SOOOO rude, sooooo unprofessional, and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow!!!!! My multiple upsetting experiences at this Starbucks has fully turned me off the chain. Fully documenting the intense aggravation associated with this place would require far too much time. My last three visits sadly are illustrative of my consistent experiences here. The first in this trilogy involved the initially not big deal of the barista putting whipped cream on my frapucino. However, the guy who has made it first hesitated to scoop it off and made a mess of the cup in the process. He then handed it to only to wipe it down with a rag and give it back. Starbucks corporate always giving me intense grief in cases such as this prompted me to not make an issue of this. The next time, I repeatedly requested "seven pumps of toffee with a t syrup" in my venti coffee frapucino. The new hire with no name tag and a dirty untied apron did not indicate any lack of comprehension. What I got was a drink with a label that stated "7 pumps coffee" and tasted very strongly of coffee. I went back yesterday and saw yet another new hire at the register. I asked the older guy, whom I believe is a supervisor and once asked me if I wanted insulin in my frapucino, if he would oversee entering my order. He did so and told me that this store that has been open for at least 18 months is a new store and that the staff still is training. read more

This Starbucks is always severely understaffed. Getting coffee here is never a quick process as lines are often 10 people deep. The baristas work their butts off - but everyone leaves annoyed. There is no other Starbucks in the area so the wait is a necessary hell. Get the staffing situation figured out here! So many people (lost opportunities) walk out/away after seeing the line. This Starbucks hands down has the worst customer service ever! I went in there with a friend and the baristas were talking negatively about a customer that just left to all the customers in line. On top of that they completely forgot my order. Avoid the aggravation and go somewhere else! read more

I walked up to the register and the girl didn't say anything and just turned away from me. She then proceeded to take 2-3 mins and fiddle with the coffee brewers behind the register. She switched out something and moved something else around. Then she casually came back to the register and looked at me. No "how are you doing" or "I'll be right with you". Pretty sad when you have to shut down for training yesterday in regards to racial tolerance- when you should be training your employees to treat ALL people of all colors equally. If we're paying you the inflated prices for your drinks- I shouldn't have to be of a different ethnic background to be treated better. Get real Starbucks. read more

Been here twice and was severely disappointed both times. Wrote the first time off as perhaps a one off but after the second time I will not come here again. Ordered Caramel Ribbon Crunches both times and drinks I got were basically cups of flavorless ice. Asked for no whipped cream on my daughters drink and received it with whipped cream. When we mentioned to the girl that it was supposed to be without whipped cream she rolled her eyes and made a face, took the cover off and used it to scrape the whipped cream off and then shoved the drink back at us in an annoyed fashion. Seriously? Love Starbucks and usually the servers are friendly, happy hardworking people but this place is awful. If you want decent service or a well made drink go to the new one down the street. read more

The staff is pleasant, but..... This is not the location to go to if you are in a hurry. This location is regularly understaffed or staffed by people who don't know how to make the coffee drinks (Target staff). I avoid going to this location if I can. However, I do wish they could get their act together as it's more convenient for me. read more

Wanted some cold drinks on hot day. Ordered the iced green tea. Barista seemed bothered to describe the others iced tea specials, so we just stuck with our iced green teas. Refreshing drink, but slow service. Baristas seemed more interested is gossiping than waiting on their customers and at least serving with a smile or an acknowledgement to the person they were serving. I usually go to the one down the road and do a mobile order, but had shopping to do and walked in to this one. I usually order a Trenta strawberry açaí refresher with 3 extra scoops of strawberries, and it always cost me $5.09. Today I ordered a venti with 2 extra scoops and it cost me $5.99! And to top it all off, it was so watered down and resembled a strawberry flavored water. Never again, I'll just go down the road read more

Honestly the worst Starbucks ever . I think the employees actually work for target maybe that has something to do with it. I've stopped going to the Starbucks but when Im in target , EVERY time , there is some kind of problem with like 10 people waiting . Even on a slow weekday. I've seen outbursts and people screaming for a refund. They have to keep giving free drink coupons because they're so awful, except that holds up the line even more as they run across the store to get them from service desk. SO REDICULOUS. Do not ever plan on coming to this store for coffee, go into emerald square mall on first floor entrance near Belden jewelers. Way faster . read more

Starbucks at Target, North Attleboro- Worst service ever. It took more than 10 minutes to get my order. In 10 minutes, the person making hot coffee produced 4 lattes; not a single frappe produced by the person making the cold drinks. She queued up the cold drinks and mine was behind orders that came after me. I checked the time on my stub. It has been 11 minutes. I said I wanted a refund. Then she completed my drink and added whip cream when my order states no whip cream. read more

The service here is horrible. I ordered a caramel latte and then had to wait at least ten minutes for my drink, only to find after I left that they didn't put the caramel in. The employees were also socializing while they had a fairly long line. Not to mention, the employees didn't seem very happy to be doing their jobs. I HATE coming to this location. I refuse to go here anymore because every single time it's a hassle. I've never waited less than 10-15 minutes for a drink and they are always severely understaffed. Because of this you would think they would be working extra hard, nope. They socialize and laugh and take their sweet time. I'm sure they're all very nice people but I think that they need to be trained better and be better staffed. read more
