I haven't been to this location in years, but I was in the area this morning. Everything was perfect. I usually place a mobile order but decided to just use the drive thru. There wasn't much of a wait. My order was perfect (first time trying the iced Dubai latte). The gentleman at the window was very pleasant. He made my day by reminding me that my order came with a smile. This used to be, and remains, my all-time favorite Starbucks location! The barista that worked this morning at around 0515ish was incredible!!! I placed my order on the app and my nitro brew was waited to be poured until I walked in. It was incredible!! One of the many Starbucks locations has reopened... online app ordering is very efficient and safest way to go! I went at about 3:15 pm and the drive through line extended into the Left turn lane! Many java affectionadios (sp?)are out and about on this beautiful sunny day! The iced caramel macchiato is delicious and hits the spot on this hot day! I ordered via the app. If you are new and download the app you will receive a free drink! Pickups are at the side door with detailed instructions on the window... inside the doorway is a table so you can not go into the store to pickup your beverage... customers are directed to wait on an "x" marked on the sidewalk (spaced ~ 6' apart in case there's a line)... open the door give your name... close the door, wait at your spot... open door and pickup your drink from the table. This Starbucks is crazy busy! Not only do they have a drive thru that wraps around the corner, they have a decent size store front that is busy, busy, busy. The location of this Starbucks is awesome being so close to M-5. No matter where I'm coming from it's easy to swoop in and out. Regardless of how busy this place is, I see all the employees hustling with a smile, keeping up with the orders, and all the inpatient customers. Customer service jobs are hard! Especially dealing with grumpy people that want to get caffeinated! I appreciate all the hard workers here. I see different people every time I have come to this location, but the smiles are still there! read more

To be clear, I have never given a review on yelp. But the Starbucks in Farmington across from Riley Park on Grand River have caused me to break-out of my comfort zone, to give others a chance to go elsewhere. My wife and I on Friday evenings enjoy listening to music in the park with our friends, My wife, an loyal Starbucks customer at other locations, swore she would NEVER go back after being served the wrong order, twice last week (with an "Oh Well, shit happens" answer) and this week just not served because the crew enjoyed talking with one another and left 4 other customers just standing, waiting to order. Management, get your act together. If you cannot hire the proper staff, work the store yourself. read more

We had about 90 minutes to kill before our appointment at Henry Ford Walk-In Clinic that requires an appointment. My wife reminded me that I still had some gift cards for Starbucks so I checked and this was the closest location, 0.2 miles away. So we were there in under five minutes. We decided on a couple breakfast sandwiches and a slice of Iced Lemon Pound Cake as well as a large Cafe Americano. Everything was up in under 5 minutes as it wasn't too busy when we arrived about 4:30 pm. Their sandwiches are precooked and then refrigerated until ordered and then microwaved and served. That may account for some hard spots noticed while eating the sandwiches. The display case did have a few gnats inside but they said the food inside was for sample display only and not to be sold or served. Service was great, including a quick refresher on using my Starbucks App and gift cards since it's been a while. read more

Only to find it there waiting at the register getting cold. If you're looking for professionalism you won't find it here. I like the location of this Starbucks. Since the location at 12 Oaks closed, this is one on the way to or from the mall a couple miles down. It is nicely sized, has a decent parking lot (even though the drive thru line will fill and go into the side street), and has places to sit inside and outside. I got the new paradise pineapple drink, it was so good and so refreshing. It reminded me of the old Orange Julius drinks which were more than just orange, it was icy and frothy and nostalgic. I would highly, highly recommend it since it is probably limited. I would also recommend the chocolate cold foam cold brew while it is around, that is really fantastic and tastes like Coco Puffs. I have been working my way through the breakfast sandwiches, hands down the impossible sandwich is my favorite but I am excited to try the chicken and egg. They did have a sign saying "it's back" referring to the cookies and cream cake pop. I am not sure if I have ever tried it, but if you are looking for that one, it is here. read more

We needed to kill time in-between appointments. This place was located at a convenient location. Inside the free-standing building, the display window had a couple of gnats flying around among sample foods. Yuck! I mentioned it to the attendant. She acknowledged (!?) and said that foods in there were for displays only. Talk about NO attention to detail, at a food-serving place, no less! The bottom of the English muffin for the breakfast sandwich was hard, as in perhaps having sat around for quite a while. This type of inexcusable mishap NEVER happens at McDonald's. The only reason I'm giving a rating of two stars, instead of one, is because the attendant was pleasant. Everything else was an unpleasant experience. I blame management for this. Moving forward, I'll avoid this location, and perhaps all other Starbucks as well. read more

My husband I stopped here on Thanksgiving Day after having dinner with my father-in-law. We desperately needed some decent caffeine if we wanted to not fall asleep at at wheel during our commute back to the Flint area after hanging out in Farmington Hills all afternoon. Hooray, this Starbucks was open. Yippee! The place was clean, tidy, well-organized, spacious and seemed pretty new. We were waited on immediately and our coffee orders were on the counter in nothing flat. Thank you for that, Starbucks, because the both of us needed to "fuel up" on caffeine and a snack or else a traffic accident might've ensued. The coffee was hot, freshly brewed and strong. It hit the spot. My latte was perfect. We had no complaints. We didn't stick around very long, so I don't know if the Wi-Fi signal was very good or not, but I spied several people working on their laptops and studying, so I suppose that is a good sign that it's alright. We'll definitely hit up this location next time we visit the family. read more

Not sure why this Starbucks has no reviews so far, my parents say it's been open for almost a year. We used to go to the 14 Mile and Decker/Novi Rd Starbucks but they renovated it, and it's not as friendly to groups of 3+ now, it seems. We tried this one today instead. Lots of comfortable seating, including a communal table plus some armchairs. I had a free drink on my card today so I got a venti chai tea latte. I forgot that as a Green or Gold Starbucks cardholder you can also get a free coffee or tea as a refill, too, so I got a peach tranquility tea on my way out too. Fast and friendly customer service. Bathroom was a little messy but that's more th fault of the patrons vs. the establishment, IMO. I'd come back to this location. read more

Busy just like every Starbucks, but that's not why I'm upset. I drove here specifically cause they had a drive thru and I didnt to go in because I have an injured food and didn't want to limp in there in the cold. (Selfish of me I know) I get there and I'm willing to wait because like I said, every Starbucks is pretty busy, especially around this area. There's a bit of a long line (but I've seen longer even at this location). I get to the screen to order and someone greeted me nicely and told me they would be right with me. Next thing I know someone different comes on the speaker and begins taking my order. I had ordered a cinnamon dolce drink and she responds with "yup. We have that." In a rude tone. Okay fine.. no big deal everyone has bad days. I then kindly asked for a $20 gift card to be added and mentioned it didn't matter what kind of gift card design it was. The same rude employee mentioned "you'll have to come inside to do that".. I asked why and she said "because I would have to get out our WHOLE inventory and pick out the card you want and you can just come inside to do that because we have a very long line to catch up on." I then stated again that I didn't care the card I received I just wanted a card. She pretty much said she wasn't willing to do it and told me again I'd have to come inside. I had already waited for 11 minutes (which isn't even that long in my option) and I even waited for another 10 minutes after I ordered and the line moved up by one car.... Look I understand you had a long line. So does every Starbucks, maybe you are short staffed.. but I was a paying customer and have never had an issue getting a gift card through the drive through.. needless to say I went to the Starbucks down the road and they also had a long line but they serviced me and I was in and out of the drive thru within 10 mins. read more

There is 1 person in particular. A older woman that is so extremely rude. Everyone else is nice but she is a bitter old lady who is so mean for no reason. Both to myself and my boyfriend on completely Separate occasions she has talked down to us and gave my boyfriend the wrong order and laughed in his face after speaking down to him and questioning what he was ordering as if it was weird. This Starbucks was very clean. They have the full menu for food. I ordered an iced mocha and the gruyére bacon egg bites. The iced mocha almost tasted more like chocolate milk than a mocha, but it is Starbucks afterall. The egg bites are hands down my favorite thing they offer. I can tell there was either a lot of caffeine or a lot of sugar in my mocha, because I could not sleep that night. Overall, I'd recommend this Starbucks to anyone who enjoys Starbucks. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I went here to pick up a mobile order and the barista was very rude and condescending. I chalked it up to being overworked at the holidays. However my order was wrong. I went back the very next day to pick up the correct order and the customer service was even worse. I was the ONLY customer in the store, however not one of the 7 or so employees acknowledged my presence when I came in or as I stood at the mobile pickup counter. There was literally an employee right next to me wiping counters who didn't even say hello. No one behind the counter acknowledged me or even asked if I needed help. I was clearly standing in the mobile pick up spot. I could see my drinks waiting. After standing there for several minutes, again trying to give them the benefit of doubt and still being ignored, I finally asked for help. Another employee from the other side of the counter (none of the ones in my vicinity ever spoke) came to help. Again, I was the ONLY person in the store this entire time. I am a black female and for the second day in a row I feel this has been a factor in my customer service. As a minority this is not a first for me, however, as much as I love Starbucks, I will not spend my money where my presence cannot be acknowledged. Today i came and i ordered my usual order 'iced blonde vanilla latte' and i've been ordering this same drink for about a month now and it hasnt been right since the second time receiving it but today was the last straw. The staff is extremely welcoming and also willing to give free drinks from time to time. Drinks are always made to order and have great consistency. You'll rarely find something out of stock as well.
