I've been here for 20min waiting for 4 drinks. I have watched 3 phone in orders come in and go out ahead of me. I have also watched 4 customers who ordered behind me leave and there have been at least 10 cars go through the drive through as well. I guess I should have stayed in my car.. Be prepared to wait a looooooooong time for your order if you go to this Starbucks. I've never had to wait as long at any other Starbucks as I have at this one. Granted, there are always tons of cars in the drive-through, which obviously slows things down, but it's always been like that and management should have figured out by now that they need to schedule more workers to help speed things up. But when you finally get your oder, it always tastes great, and even with them being slammed my order is always correct. This location is a bit odd because of the design of the building/parking lot. The drive thru is usually very busy and because of the design, the line literally wraps around the building. This also makes it risky to park in the three spots directly in front of the building because you can get blocked in. They renovated the interior in 2019 and made the seating area smaller. Location is the main thing this place has going for it, otherwise you should go to the other O'Fallon location on US Highway 50. read more

I have been to Starbuck's stores all over this lovely country of ours, and usually receive excellent service, and delicious coffee. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for this particular location. From the management down through the ranks, rudeness and condescending attitudes abound at this store. It's as if they all could care less if you patronize the place or not. Nearby locations that meet the usually excellent Starbuck's experience are in St. Clair Square Mall, and one located in the Target Store; both located in Fairview Heights, IL. Really great! My only issue is the employees at this specific store are very obviously instructed to have in-depth conversations with customers at the drive-thru window as they wait. Employees here are OK. They really seem to try, but this place is tiny, parking lot design is AWFUL (can hardly get in and then, once you are in, you can hardly get out!). There is always a line to place your order and the wait to get your beverage is even longer. And, what is with people who can't see everybody standing around waiting? You just placed your order.....why are you standing right in front of the counter, blocking pick-up? Do you think we are all standing around waiting because of the atmosphere here? Oh, how I LOVE me some Starbucks! There isn't one where I live so I always make sure I get my fix when I'm near one. Their service was super quick and staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had trouble understanding how to use my gold card and the barista walked me through everything which I really appreciated. She also introduced me to the green tea latte - yummy! I have had better experiences with Starbucks, so I am pretty sure the problem here is with their staffing. I arrived to a busy store and waited in line for my turn, I placed my order and moved over to the waiting area. While waiting I noticed two other customers, who had ordered after myself get the same drink I had ordered get their before me? Overall the drinks are what you come to experience from Starbucks, my complaint is about the service. Another problem with this store is the way that the its setup, the Drive Thru is a total mess and often blocks regular parking during peak hours. I have learned to never park in spots close to the building, always park in the spots away otherwise you risk getting blocked in by drive thru traffic! read more

Your "third place." It's like your "fourth meal," but with comfort and class. Starbucks isn't just where your order your caffeine fix and leave, it's where the baristas know your name, drink and ask you how your kids are doing in school. They are constantly trained to perfection. They want your drink right every time at every location. Consistency is key. If it's not right, they will make it so and compensate you for your time and money spent. Starbucks isn't all about profit, it's about you. You're the one spending $5 on your daily latte -- it should be perfect and if it's not, you should let them know. I am a little biased, seeing as I used to work for this company, but every time I walk in here, I feel like family and the vast majority of the partners have no idea who I am. Fantastic Starbucks. They not only have a drive through but also outdoor seating as well. They are the quickest Starbucks I have ever been to. Some things that I noticed a little differently at this one than the Starbucks I have been to in the past is that all four employees wore headsets, I am assuming to communicate with each other. They also print out little stickers and place them on the cups of what you are ordering, verses writing it out with a sharpie marker. I love the convenience of the drive thru window. The employees are very friendly, always smiling and give me my coffee quickly. Today I tried the grande caramel flan latte with an extra shot of espresso and skim milk. I like my coffee strong! No need for any extra sweetener because the coffee already caramel flan goodness in it. It was delicious! This is my second day in a row getting this treat! Hopefully it will fuel me to ace my online nutrition test here in a min. All in all, you can't go wrong this Starbucks location. Even during the busy hours the staff is on their A game. Coming from a person who used to be a gold member yearly. This place is awful, not only is it really packed All the time. The team members in here don't give a shit about the quality of your drink. I've given this store now 5 times since I've moved to Scott. Every single time I order fraps, they come out extremely watery, I mean like half of the drink is liquid. Yesterday I decided on asking to get more ice to counteract this problem only to have the lady add three scoops of ice and then realizing that the blender got stuck only to pour it anyways. After that she ended up leaving about 8-9 oz of crushed ice left in the blender. Which meant my drink was extremely watered down by all that extra unneeded ice you carelessly blended . So much for me trying the cherry blossom drink, ONLY reason I wanted to try Starbucks again. This girl handed off as well watered frappes to these group of 5 girls that were celebrating her birthday. How can you care so little and why does management not put her in check. I know you definitely are wasting so much product I can tell, I don't understand how the manager does not educate you to properly measure drinks. Pouring drinks are not hard, I have been in your same spot for three years! This is why I have avoided going to Starbucks at all these past three years I've been stationed at Scott. read more

I usually don't comment aloud about poor service at restaurants, etc., but after the consistently bad service I've received at this Starbucks I couldn't hold it in any longer. Too often there is at least a 15-20 minute wait inside the store only to receive a mediocre drink. Earlier last week I went inside after seeing 7 or 8 cars in the drive thru. I stood in line behind one person for almost five minutes before one of the 7 people working came to take our orders. After ordering, I waited another 15 minutes to get my drink because the workers were busy socializing with each other. Even then, my drink was incorrectly made. Today, I wanted Starbucks again as I was on my way to work. This is the closest to my place of employment so I left with plenty of time to make sure I would get my drink. I waited in line after four people, and while that part went fast, I had to wait ten minutes to get my drink. I ordered an iced black tea lemonade and was served an iced black tea. I had no time or patience to tell them that once again my drink order was incorrect. In the future I will be avoiding this Starbucks at all costs when possible. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon out of sheer boredom. Service is friendly and accurate but the tables need to continually be cleaned. Someone was sweeping and cleaning when we first arrived but within 15 minutes nearly all tables needed a good wipe down. As a tip, the new Chili Mocha is really tasty. This Starbucks is aways crowded, which isn't neccessarily a bad thing-it IS the only Starbuck around. I suggest NOT going through the drive-thru because there is always a long line. If you want to drink a cup of coffee, and you are near it, you gotta try this Starbucks place. Man, they have a LOT of coffee! I didn't see Maxwell House on the menu (totes my faves), but I bet they have it since they have so much coffee. Only complaint is they seemed to have a lot of coffee from 3rd world countries. Must be cheaper?? These places aren't usually known for quality products. My wife goes here way more than i do, to do her homework and such, but so much i think she works there as a regular customer! ha. I have got a couple drinks from this place and have never been disappointed yet. i enjoy the strawberry's and creme frappe as well as white chocolate mocha and other frappes. the atmosphere is just like any Starbucks, nothing special just a little coffee shop with some tables and free wi-fi. i love that they have the free wi-fi here. the people are friendly workers and customers, the places is clean, and they have a little outside area to sit as well. read more

I am passing through and stop at Starbucks across the country every day. This was awful service (I could have gone through the drive through 3x in the time I was taken care of with my order of only 2 simple drinks. I specifically ordered an Americano (paid more money) bc I was told the dark roast would take 10mins. Then I waited well over 25 mins and a guy comes in, orders, the girl who took his order had googly eyes for him and he literally walked out a minute later with his drink. Unacceptable! A guy waiting even longer than me walked up and demanded his money back and the manager (rather than listen to our concerns and the mans recommendation to handle the front end better), she told him she was the manager and "don't talk to my partners like that!" WHAT??? He didn't even say anything that was rude other than to show his dissatisfaction as a customer. I was in complete agreement with him! This store needs to improve and it may start with the manager making her "partners" accountable! read more

I'm not sure what happened, but this Starbucks used to suck majorly. I used to wait sometimes 15 minutes in the drive thru with 3 cars in front of me! And, if I went inside, I used to feel like I was intruding on the staff - the attitude was sort of like "oh crap, another damn customer". Now, however, something has changed. I went there today after lunch at Aroy Thai and the staff was friendly, fast, and great! I actually felt welcomed to enter the store, rather than loathed, as before! And, the service was quick. I felt compelled to hang out with the fun staff, rather than grab my drink and run the hell away, as before! I am a renewed fan and can't wait to order my next quad tall cappuccino! Yousa! read more

This location is the third busiest store in the entire Midwest. The baristas here are HUMANS. They all may have a bad day from time to time, due to angry customers constantly interrogating them on when their drink will come out. Them looking for your order will only delay yours and everybody else's. Please be understanding. There are only three machines to run and hundreds of drinks to be made. Please be patient with them. If you are running late, you should never stop for coffee. Do NOT blame baristas. You couldn't possibly expect to get your drinks in five minutes, when there were 15+ people in front of you (most likely with 2+ items each - this includes Mobile Order & Pay) in line, right? Service was utterly and unapologetically awful. Wait time was long given the amount of people in store. What was an issue is after 23 minutes I was given the wrong order. I suggested the order was incorrect and I didn't want it. Server would not apologize for the fault. Said she'd make another but at that point almost 25 minutes later I asked for a refund. While there in the 25+ minutes this happened no less than 3 times. Getting orders wrong and either having to give away free drinks or throw away drinks. This is not the spot to grab a coffee on your way to work, unless you're willing to be late. Also double check your order especially with food- last week I ordered the bacon/gruyere egg bites and they gave me the roasted red pepper bites This location is completely disorganized and has ridiculous wait times with slow service...I've been to literally a dozen other locations across several states that are always on point with fast, friendly service. I had a friend go to the Starbucks location to get a Venti iced latte for me. They were out of the Venti iced cups and my friend asked if they could do 2 grande for the price of the Venti. They would not and did not accommodate for their ordering or supply issues. I usually do not get Starbucks but today called for one. They were also rude. I rarely leave poor reviews. In fact, I can't remember the last time I took the time for a bad review. But this Starbucks is woefully inefficient. We've waited 30min or more in the drive through and an hour inside on nearly every occasion we have visited. They lose drink tickets, get swamped with mobile orders, and just generally cannot seem to move customers through in the way of every other Starbucks store in every city we've ever been to. The drinks are made the same, but don't bother stopping unless you have a LOT of time to kill. They have far less customer traffic than several other locations we used to frequent (in bigger markets), but they just cannot seem to handle what they do have. Hopefully the new store opening in town will distribute the work load and help them out. read more

Incredibly long line at 10:30 in the morning. I can deal with that. Incredibly slow service compared to other Starbucks. Employees trying their hardest. Management needs to staff appropriately and analyze efficiency for operation. I am now on 30 minute wait and no signs of my coffee coming out soon.
