While this location is generally very busy, they work swiftly and keep the drive thru flowing. On average it take about 3-7 minutes to get through the drive thru even when it's back to the entrance. Have always loved Starbucks in general, but this location is absolutely horrible! They took 10 minutes to make my drink when I was the only one in the drive-thru. The woman working the drive-thru window was very rude and did not give pleasant service. I ordered the violet drink, which has berries in it, and the berries were brown and rotten. One of the better Starbucks that still has that hint of coffee aroma inside. This place is usually crowded inside with the better furniture seats occupied. That's why when I go here I choose to grab my drink and take it to the patio under the green umbrellas. The patio is great for gorgeous days and they have outside speakers to enjoy the music, free wifi, and people watch. The staff is usually friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and the wait time isn't that long. The baristas move out quickly. I have yet to encounter any negatives here aside from the lack of indoor seating. Usually tho, it's way too cold to want to sit inside anyways. read more

I was very disappointed with this Starbucks location. Not only was the register line slow, but also the waiting line for drinks was even slower! Due to the "mobile orders," which had been prioritized and had a whopping SIX drinks, we waited 30 MINUTES for our own orders to be completed. Likewise, because of the six mobile orders on top of the in-store orders, the baristas actually messed up the line and served those behind first. I heard they are planning to open up a drive through or something of the sort, but if they cannot get their staff to work efficiently and swiftly, then this particular Starbucks does not have a chance. The one star is given for the quality of the drinks, but the lack of a higher starring is due to the apparent slowness of the servers. read more

We come here every time we're in town visiting family. A year ago, it was under construction. The new place is bright with lots of seating. All the baristas are very friendly. My fave SBUX location to frequent daily. The café is nice to sit inside to relax or catch some sun out on the patio. Some days very busy and have to park across from the store, but that is minor. Unhelpful. Tried to overcharge for a drink. They wanted to upcharge for syrup in a kids drink. A kids hot chocolate comes with mocha syrup (and a pump of vanilla), so why wouldn't a cold chocolate milk cost the same amount? It takes less work to make a cold kids chocolate milk. I tried to explain this to the two girls behind the counter, yet they were adamant they had to upcharge for chocolate syrup in a kids chocolate milk. Not friendly or helpful. Been here a couple of times. The staff are super friendly and make my drinks perfect every time. There's no drive through which is not a big deal for me because I always like to go inside which is nice and spacious. These folks do not know how to make speciality coffee and know nothing about cafe culture. There's NO passion in their coffee drinks, the line is ridiculous and service is slow. It's always a 15 min wait for a Latte, the outdoor seating faces the parking lot and sometimes has bums and homeless people hanging around. (nothing against the homeless but...) I once saw this rough looking family just hanging out on the seats and the teen kids were climbing all over the chairs. The employees are disturbing; noisy and loud mouthed, ruining any cafe experience you thought you were going in for. But alas, this is Palm Coast, what do they know about cafe culture! read more

Stopped in while driving north on I-95. It's not too far off the freeway although the one way streets make it a little inconvenient to get to. The baristas were quick and I really liked my sweet cream cold brew (first time ordering it). The cashiers were friendly but slow, causing the line to back up. While visiting the area, I have been to this Starbucks 3 times ordering the same thing. Grande Starbucks Doubleshot over ice...the classic recipe which the staff should know. The standard recipe has 3 pumps of classic syrup in a grande. Each time I have visited, NO syrup has been added. How can that happen when it is a standard recipe? Today, the same thing happened. I placed a mobile order (which spells out the recipe clearly) and picked it up only to have no syrup. I told one of the staff, and she promptly put 4 pumps of syrup in it, which is one more than the recipe. I said...no...too much, and she said...that is what a grande calls for in that drink. I tasted it, left, too sweet....so I went thru the drive thru to have it remade. I specifically had to tell them 3 pumps of syrup. Why does this store not know how to make this drink???? The brand new store on hwy 100 near the new Aldi makes awesome drinks and they always get it right. Worth the extra miles to go there. By the way, barely an apology. UGH!!! read more

The thing I don't like about this store is some of the staff have brought their New York, New Jersey attitude with them. Like it or not, much of the country finds aspects of New York City and NJ unappealing and some of the staff here need a lesson in friendly customer service. I am a fan of Starbucks generally. I like their drinks, but really enjoy the social aspects. They are designed to encourage interaction and conversation. The Palm Coast store is no exception, with one glaring difference; the noise level. They keep the sound level of the "background" music up so high that it is distracting rather than relaxing.This means the voice levels are raised in order to talk over the music. This is a common complaint I hear from other customers as well. I have complained to the manager on several occasions, with no results. This morning was the final time I will deal with it. If I have to have a Starbucks I will drive to Ormond Beach, 10 miles away, but I will not be returning there. I don't understand why the management of this store is so unresponsive to customer concerns. read more

We stayed near there during all of February. At first, I was not impressed. It didn't seem like they could keep everything stocked (milk containers, napkins, even toilet paper) and I was inclined to rate it low due to some annoying banter at first. But after a month of coming here each day (there's really no competition in Palm Coast either), I have to hand it to them. This place gets slammed all the time but the baristas are fast and accurate. You don't wait long in even a long line. They know how to make a cappuccino (lots of places don't) right every time no matter who is on duty. They are very pleasant. We sat outside often and inside when it was too cold to sit out. Fine either way. But I would say that due to how busy the place is, what's less than perfect is their ability to keep things up like milk, napkins, etc. That's why not 5 stars. But I certainly recommend the place. They work hard for their money and give excellent service. If the coffee is the main thing for you plus the wifi environment, this place really will work for you. (By the way, I wrote a much more negative review four weeks ago that disappeared from Yelp. What's that about? So I came online to amend it anyway -- so here's the new improved version.
