Small place but worth going. We had a breakfast sandwich and a burrito. Fresh coffee and orange juice. Well priced and everyone was very friendly. Definitely a must visit.

I went in for a quick bite (grabbed a bagel and an iced latte) and was charmed by the service. The man, and I wish I'd caught his name, was so sweet and patient. I didn't know which latte I wanted, and he didn't rush me. The bagel was what you'd expect: nothing fancy or special, but it hit the spot. The latte was yummy. The silly straw looped into a knot added a bit of whimsy I appreciated. Note that the prices have changed. From the most recent listing on Yelp, everything is about $2 higher.

Great attentive family style service. Great and affordable breakfast options. Cozy and great local hot sauces available.

Heyyyyyyyyy you guyyyyysssssss!! This is a small mom & pop spot and it's perfect for a quick breakfast sandwich. Ran by son, mom and pop who are a total pleasure. Service was great, friendly, fast and yum! We opted for a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and a bagel with cream cheese. Let's eat!!

Perhaps the best find since arriving in the area! Small diner, 1 of 1, very much local color and feel. It's places like Zaba's that give a tourist area some depth. The owner served us, was gracious and provided us a working knowledge of the datil pepper and its history. He also has a range of self-made sauces and a mustard that will change your life (for the better, if there were any doubt). If you come to this area and don't visit, you'll have missed a one-of-a-kind experience. We will be back, and often!

We chose this spot for breakfast/brunch and what a fantastic find. The atmosphere is beautiful and upscale without feeling like you need to whisper or worry that you're holding your fork incorrectly. I went with the Gruyère cheese and ham omelette, and honestly, I'm not sure how they managed to make eggs this light. The omelette was delicate, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The kind of breakfast where you take a bite and immediately start thinking, "Well, now I'm going to have to compare every omelette I eat from this point forward." My wife ordered the spinach and mushroom quiche, which can only be described as decadent. Rich, flavorful, and the kind of dish that makes you slow down and appreciate what's happening on the plate. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service was spectacular, and the entire experience felt like a special occasion even though we were simply there for breakfast. French Pantry was a fantastic find and absolutely deserving of five stars. If you're in St. Augustine looking for a breakfast or brunch experience that feels a little elevated, this is one to put on your list.

Cafeteria like decor, with a large bar area. Some might like this atmosphere, but the food quality and decor, were a turn off to me. As St. Augustine has so many dining choices, I wouldn't go back to The French Pantry.

Friendly, attentive, efficient and professional. She made our experience here seamless and very enjoyable! You couldn't ask for better service. She gave great food recommendations. Also, Jeff (the manager) stopped by our table, took the time to chat with us and made us feel right at home. We appreciated the old-school St. Augustine Southern hospitality that has been lost since the inevitable growth of the area. You definitely can't go wrong with their Fried Shrimp and Chicken Wings (loved the flavors of that buttery Garlic Parm)! Both seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ample outside seating steps away from the beach, feeling the breeze off of the Atlantic Ocean, a truly laid-back atmosphere, sunburnt tourist watching and counting all the Jeeps heading out to brave the soft sand while enjoying an ice cold beer or sweet tea...so priceless.

She started us out with baked oysters and they were good, but it was too much bacon and cheese for me personally. It overwhelmed the oyster flavor, but if you're trying oysters for the first time or wanna please a picky group then these are good. My daughter got the stuffed flounder with corn casserole as we called it, as her side. It was delicious! Probably the best thing ordered! Tacos and kids grilled fish was great too! Definitely a solid amount of fish nuggets in the taco. The fries were some of the best ive ever had. For the seafood feast, we ordered scampi style and it was good, but it reminded me of a clam sauce style, not really buttery and garlicky. It was still good, but what disappointed me was the melted plastic bag served at the table. It was difficult to open, even our server had trouble opening. Idk why everyone loves serving food in plastic bags. It's sooo hot from the steam that plastic leaches into the food. I don't get the infatuation with this, unless you're ordering to go. The fans upstairs are a nice and necessary touch and not too hot up there, despite being summer in July. I would go back and order the stuffed flounder again! Seriously, that was the best thing we ordered. Ashley was johnny on the spot too!
