Croissant sandwich. Bring No sides.
Maggie V.

This is a little roadside café that's very clean and inviting. I've driven past many times and decided to stop by and try their breakfast. The entire staff was super friendly, and the environment was very relaxed, outdoorsy, and chill. They are very pet friendly and the service was phenomenal. I had already had my coffee, so I simply ordered the croissant, breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. The croissant was light and flaky, and the inside was basically a nice sized omelette with chopped bacon in it. Very tasty. My only concern was the price. It came with just a sandwich, no sides at all and all I had was a cup of tap ice water. Including the tip,, the simple sandwich was just over $20! I think that's a little excessive for a single croissant breakfast sandwich. I will still consider coming back, but I will look more carefully at the prices. Looking back on the menu there's many more options that are much more reasonable and give you a lot more for your money.

Amazing breakfast spot and lunch along A1A in one of the last stretches of old Florida. They did a great job creating cozy vibes and crave-able bites! I highly recommend the crab cake sandwich, (very crabby and hardly any filler, if any). The onion straws side were the best! Can't wait to try their other options. Service was fast and welcoming! We went on a Friday am. The weekend crowd gets busy. Keep in mind the close at 2:00 pm. Enjoy!

Came for some brunch on a Sunday morning with my mom and sister. We were visiting and saw this place had good reviews online. They were right! This little restaurant on the side of the road in Hammock was fantastic. The servers were all super friendly. We got the breakfast bowl with sausage, French toast, a pancake, and a Caesar Salad wrap. Everything was delicious and freshly made. The price was reasonable and I would come back here again. If you happen upon Rodie's make sure you stop in!

Absolutely Wonderful. We had a Fabulous breakfast/lunch. Absolutely Delicious. Egg omelet that was soooo flavorful w/ potatoes & rye toast ( butter and jelly ). Friendly, comfortable, casual, relaxing.

Super cute little place. Extremely homey and the servers had such a southern charm. We got the French toast, breakfast bowl, and the chicken Cesar wrap. The side pancake was sweet and perfectly toasted. Wrap was flavorful and the perfect ratio of chicken to lettuce. Would come back if I were stopping because of the charm. The chips didn't have a taste but it was alright I was full already!

A Hidden Gem in the Hammock Roadies Place is a fantastic find in Palm Coast's Hammock area. From the moment we arrived, the service was spectacular - our server went above and beyond with his recommendations, particularly steering me toward the Rueben sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. He clearly knew the menu well and his suggestion was spot on. The iced coffee was a pleasant surprise, served with French vanilla creamer at the table so you can customize it exactly to your taste. My wife ordered the breakfast bowl and couldn't stop raving about it throughout our meal. The location offers nice flexibility with indoor seating, outdoor seating, and pet-friendly picnic tables along the side - perfect if you're bringing your furry friend along. It's worth noting that parking is somewhat limited and the lot is mostly sandy, so plan accordingly. Overall, Roadies delivers on both food quality and hospitality. Whether you're a local or just passing through the Hammock area, it's definitely worth a stop.

We were on a trip for the family on the Palm Coast and we discovered this restaurant... luckiest finding ever! The owner and servers were so gracious and repeatedly checked in on us. They even let us taste a sample of the Blood Mary to seal the deal! The food was the best for the food I tried... best Cuban sandwich ever and the next day the best pancakes ever! This place is definitely worth a try! I hope that you're as happy with the restaurant as we were!

For me, this was a quintessential Florida local breakfast spot. Service was friendly, coffee was never ending and always hot. Love sitting outside under the oaks and Spanish moss. The jalapeño shrimp and grits were pretty great. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

5 Stars: Fried Green Tomato Sandwich on homemade bread & Apple Pie Cinnabon- absolutely no notes…read more Will 100% get these again. 4 stars: Curry Chicken Salad On Croissant (delicious but wish it had a little more curry flavor) Latte was good (loved the art). Mango Iced Juice was okay, but seemed watered down. The outdoor seating area is super cute and cashier was helpful. Definitely a new favorite/recommended place.

Cute Vibe and Nice People, But the Food Doesn't Match the Hype (or the Prices)…read more I live right around the corner and I *really* wanted this place to be my neighborhood go-to. The café itself is adorable, the staff is genuinely warm and friendly every time I go in, and the backyard patio is legitimately one of the best outdoor seating spots in the area -- shaded, relaxed, and perfect for lingering with a book or catching up with a friend. That part is spot-on. Unfortunately, the food keeps letting me down. The almond croissants taste exactly like Pillsbury crescent rolls with some almond paste squeezed inside -- flaky but not in the good, buttery, laminated way you expect from a real French-style croissant. The bagels are advertised as "NY-style," flown in from NY - but they're missing that signature chew and density; they're soft and almost bready (and $4.50 a piece!). I've also tried a couple of the sandwiches and they're just... fine. Nothing I'd go out of my way for. The prices are honestly outrageous for what you get. I'm always surprised at how packed the place is, but I guess people are coming for the cute factor and the patio more than the pastries. (I've never tried the coffee, so maybe that's the secret star of the show -- I'll update if I do.) Bottom line: If you're in the neighborhood and want a pretty place to sit outside with friendly counter people, this spot is worth it. Just don't go expecting standout baked goods, sandwiches or bagels. I'm still rooting for them to step it up -- the location and atmosphere deserve better food. Fingers crossed they tighten up their products, because I'd love to become a regular.

We were looking for more than just lunch--we wanted an outing where we could bring our dog, enjoy…read morethe beautiful weather, and stretch our legs a bit. Captain's BBQ at Bing's Landing checked every box. We enjoyed lunch under the canopy of live oaks overlooking the water, then wandered over to the free Mala Compra Plantation Archaeological Preserve for a little local history before heading home. Even Oreo enjoyed the walk. This visit, we both ordered the Cuban sandwich. My dining companion said it's her favorite thing on the menu. While it wasn't my favorite item I've had here, it was still enjoyable. I actually preferred the pulled pork sandwich I ordered on a previous visit, so next time I'll probably go back to that. Now let's talk desserts...because that's where Captain's BBQ really wins me over! Their desserts are consistently delicious, generously sized, and absolutely worth saving room for. I also appreciate that they offer a more interesting drink selection than you'd expect from a casual barbecue spot. Besides the usual fountain drinks, you'll find glass bottles of Cheerwine and Jarritos along with canned ciders, ales, and hard seltzers. Ordering is simple. You stand in line to place your order, then wait for your name to be called at the pickup counter before choosing to dine inside, on the covered porch, or at one of the picnic tables outside. One thing that gives Captain's BBQ extra character is the decor. Take a few minutes to look around inside--the walls are filled with local memorabilia, community awards, and fun Palm Coast touches that make the restaurant feel connected to the area rather than just another barbecue joint. And don't leave once you've finished eating! Right next door is the free Mala Compra Plantation Archaeological Preserve, where you can walk through the preserved archaeological site and learn a little local history. It adds a unique element to your visit and turns lunch into a relaxing afternoon exploring one of Flagler County's hidden gems. Overall, Captain's BBQ offers much more than just good food. Between the scenic waterfront setting, shady oak trees, dog-friendly outdoor seating, delicious desserts, interesting drink selection, and the chance to explore local history just steps away, it's an easy place to spend a few enjoyable hours. We'll definitely be back!

A solid 3.5 since we can only give full stars…read more Good sized parking lot. Ordered burnt ends $16.99 and brisket plate $15.99. Pretty quick service - they call out when your order is ready. We wanted to really like this place and had high hopes due to the other reviews but brisket was a little on the dry side and the burnt ends were a bit hard and fatty. The best thing was the tangy mustard sauce. Big open screened are in back overlooking the water. Noise level not too bad. We were hoping for better but glad we stopped to try it.
