Oh my god the service, attitude and product was horrible at this location. The gentlemen working the drive through window was rude and not helpful at all. Definitely not what I'm accustomed to from Starbucks. Then yo top it off, the drink was only half the size I ordered(see picture) I ordered and PAID for a grande and got a kids size in a grande cup. I visited your establishment located on Rancho Vista & Lowes Drive in Palmdale, CA and was quite impressed with a young man named Kimmon. His customer service is exceptional and his new drink creation is DELICIOUS! I just wanted to give him a public shoutout because he convinced me to try something that I would normally NEVER even consider drinking. Ask him what's in it. (Actually, I took a picture of the order specs if anyone wants it, but I'm warning y'all...it's an odd combo that tastes like a party in your mouth!) Kimmon asked me to name it and share it (not sure if he tells that to everyone who tries the drink but whatever ) so I'm naming it: "Kimmon's Vanilla Spice Frap" And to my friends, TRY THE DRINK and hopefully Kimmon is working when y'all order it! Horrible customer service. Every time I stop by they all have bad attitudes. Literally charged me 15 cents for a straw because apparently my drink wasn't supposed to come with a straw... Overall the staff is quite friendly but all of sudden I am being charged 70 cents to add milk to my coffee, but the next person wasn't charged at all. Yesterday refills for a ice tea were 50 cents and all of a sudden it's $1.90. I was going to buy gifts today, but they passed on 100 bucks over 50 cents. I brought my teenage kids for coffee, and my son could not decide and said nothing. I felt so bad, but then the amazing barista Kimmon over heard and offered my son to make a specialty drink! This Starbucks is the worst. I waited in the longest line to get my drink & my kid a cake pop with a screaming baby in the car (obviously not their fault) but when I get to the window my toddler asks for his pop I completely forgot to order one so I asked the guy at the window to add it on and he looks at me like he can't process what I'm asking him. I asked him 3x before he looked at his manager and this dude just shakes his head without even looking up. He said sorry I'm not allowed to add anything on at the window??? drive through here takes forever so if you're on your lunch break expect to be stuck in drive-thru for good 10 to 15 minutes. Overall it's a Starbucks so they got you covered on coffee tea and dessert. I do wish the drive-thru was faster the parking lot is a little confusing so be careful. If you do want to park there are spots but they have multiple drive-through facilities in this location so I recommend being very careful when you park. read more

The service wasn't that great today considering most working in night shift don't really listen to the customers needs and automatically get offended when told that my order was wrong which isn't the first time this has happened. Then when I told the barista my order was wrong at the window they persisted that we go back around just to retake the order again, I've worked on drive thru before and I know that was not necessary and you can take the order at the register and just call it up, not only were they persistent on my going back around to the drive thru but changed their tone to a rather threatening one. I noticed this quickly and asked for a manager when the manger came they also persisted that they overheard what the barista was saying and tried to reason over just retaking a order I don't know why they made it more difficult than it was but the service was overall bad and I sadly won't be going to this location at that time anymore just to be explained of my already complaint at a different perspective. Just listen to the customer instead of assuming you're always right own up to your actions this seemed very childish. read more

I stood their for a good solid 10m or more waiting for a drink that's as sitting at the counter but the name was covered by the sleeve. Yes I could have moved every sleeve on every drink but employees should be assisting so not everyone's hands are on everyone's drinks. This point is wedged between a Popeyes and Wendy's... barely any parking and smaller interior-- this is essentially a drive thru bucks. I had great service from barista named De Jour and they got through a long line in the drive thru relatively quickly. This location also has something I've never seen before- reserved spaces for mobile app orders with 10 min max limit-- this is pretty cool for those of us that use the app a lot to order ahead and we just want get in and out quickly. read more

This is probably my least favorite Starbucks to have to go to. As every time I have visited (drive thru) it is extremely slow. Not just maybe one person down slow but, ten minute delay slow. I am patient and understand at times things happen but on multiple visits is mind boggling. So, I only visit this one if I am hopping on the freeway from that area. Recently moved to the area and usually prefer to go through the drive thru. I then decided to try their mobile app and this place is always on point. And just recently decided to go inside to sit down and read a book. I was helped by, I think her name was Vicky, she was very pleasant. She made some suggestions and I took a leap of faith. Thanks again Vicky, that hot chai tea was just what I needed! It was very tasty. Definitely recommend this Starbucks in comparison to the others I've gone to in the area. Sells expired food to customers and then the manager will not swap it out. I went through and bought a snack box and got to work and later went to eat it and the date was expired. Right away I left work to return it but the manager refused to accept it as I did not have my receipt. Why would it be ok to do this. I go through this same location every morning and they know me and what I get. She was just to uncaring to make it right. A new starbucks opened down the street off Rancho Vista and I will be going there from now on. Good service, baristas here were nice. It was easy to locate, Google Map took me right to the location. There is decent amount of parking available since it shares a private parking lot with several other businesses. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato which was on point and their chocolate croissant. Usually I don't do reviews of franchises however since my work requires me to travel from Tulare Co. to Temecula to Blythe it thought I should give Starbucks its due props. Starbucks has become a safe haven for wifi access, bathrooms, coffee, and a decent and healthy snack. This one was no different and lived up to expectation. Large seating area and good service.
