I'm not sure if I would even rate this with 1 star. I was excited to go to starbucks to order a drink I had seen someone else order on social media. A match with strawberry purée and strawberry cold foam. I was planning on ordering it through the mobile app because I thought that would be easier for the workers and myself, not having to ramble that all off at the drive thru screen but there's no option for strawberry purée in the mobile app on matchas. I pull up to the speaker and the man on the speaker had the worst tone ever and was being very short so I ended up just ordering a regular matcha because I was nervous to add all of the extras. He continued with a very rude tone and didn't even say thank you after I said please multiple times. I'm not sure if this location just needs some better management to treat their employees better, or if this man was having a bad day. But after I grabbed my drink from him, I said thank you and he said nothing. Not even have a good day. The workers are always rude. Drive thru or just inside. My drink had caramel all down the side of the cup. I went to take a chair from a table that had boxes all over it and the worker yelled and me and my friend. I was zoned out one time and a worker yelled at me asking why I was staring at the counter. This morning I waited 15min.at the drive up,I asked what's the problem the reply was that the coffee machine was not ready!!! This is probably the worst Starbucks ever from the long drive-thru line to the long wait inside to order and sometimes getting the wrong order... Most recently, on 07/14/1990, I went through the drive thru and ordered a venti cold brew with sweet cream. I took a first zip and there was legit a dead fly in the coffee. Instead of going inside and causing a mass hysteria, I went back through the drive-thru and explained the situation. The girl at the window was super apologetic and issued me a 'next drink on us' which I thought was nice until I saw it was only worth $4 - less than my venti cold brew. Any who, I went to redeem it later the same day bc I'm a Starbucks addict but obviously at a different location and the card wasn't even activated. I usually don't complain but a dead fly, a less than what my drink was worth gift card and really a gift card that wasn't even active doesn't sit well with me. I spend a crapload of money at Starbucks. At least like myself, avoid this Starbucks like the plague. read more

Since the beginning of the pandemic this coffee shop has been inconsistent at best and totally incompetent at worse. One of the things I use to like about STARBUCKS was the reliability and f their product I could expect my favorite drink to be the same in Albuquerque as in Minneapolis. I also found the staff well trained and personable. This is seldom the case at this location. Sometimes surly employees take my order in store or drive thru only to have me wait an unreasonable amount of time to receive my watered down frappacino often in a sticky cup. My patience is at an end. I will go out of my way to get better more consistent service at another location. read more

Wordt service. Did a mobile order got a grand coffee with cream and 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup. Went through the drive thru and they honestly took forever but whatever I let it go. I get my drink and drive off, about 2 blocks away I decide to take a sip. Black coffee. Open up the lid, yup, no cream no syrup. Sunday mornings in the drive though. Two older women, who I swear are high on prescription pills are so very slow at their station. I ordered a large coffee and even said "large". I corrected her because I paid for a large coffee, she tossed my medium in a larger cup and sent me on my way. Great and friendly staff and environment but they never get my order right. Something as simple as classic oatmeal with all the toppings come back as watery classic oatmeal with only brown surgir and nuts or sometimes just the nuts. I even stopped buying my green tea lattes from there. Never seem to make it how I like it. It's cool you can reach out and get it re-done but if you're getting food right before work or class it's kinda hard to wait and have them redo it. I think once Starbucks expanded their menus it got to be too much on these baristas. Not sure but that's my assumption because I've never had so many problems with my drink in 7 years or so. I honestly hate to write a straight-out BAD review of any Starbucks, but I have NEVER had a decent drink here. Never. I used to stop at this one all the time in my travels, but after...say...the fifth or sixth horrid drink, I started skipping it entirely. Do you have any idea what it means for me to actually *pass* by a Starbucks, denying my central vice? Inhaling that sweet scent of caffeine as it drifts through my open window, beckoning me with its siren song? Yeah, it's *that* bad. The straw that broke the camel's back? I ordered a soy cappuccino. As anyone who exclusively drinks non-dairy milk can attest, with one sip you KNOW whether or not you're drinking "the real thing". When I confronted the young (and perhaps new?) barista about my concerns, she flippantly replied "Oh, yeah. Well, we were out of soy milk. So it's non-fat."
