I have been to this location a couple of times and each one has been mated with issues. This time I learned you cannot order an iced drink least you want 90% ice. Nor should you order food unless you want it to somehow be stale. Any money spent here would be wasted. read more

We went in to this SB to get a cake pop for our daughter. This is the first I have been to this store. I was pleasantly surprised how huge it was inside. They had so many tables for indoor dining, all were super clean and glossy. I have rarely seen such spacious SB store. The merchandise shelf was close the register, but the condiment bar area was close to the entrance door. There was no line front of us. We went straight to the register to order the cake pop. The barista handed us the item on the spot. Super quick service. Other customers were getting their orders pretty quickly too, since there was literally no one waiting in the pick up area. First time visiting this location. Only two baristas behind the counter! They were getting the drinks out quickly but the place was a bit untidy. When you're short staffed, something's got to give! Picked up a sandwich and decided to deconstruct it! The sandwich was, in my opinion, a true embarrassment! Two slices of provolone, on top of each other maybe an ounce of turkey off to one side. I ABSOLUTELY understand why this location only has 3 stars. Denise(may be a manger) is the rudest person I've encountered at Starbucks personally. I walked up to the register slightly unsure about the size of the drink (btwn grande and venti) and she walks away to put a croissant is the pick up area. (no problem) she comes back and I tell her the size and I'm literally in the middle of listing what id like in my latte and she walks away and starts making it. like I'm not sure how you can start something if you haven't heard the full order but umm ok. So upset, I walk away and proceed to try to pick up portion of an order ahead order. while I'm there she asked if I want the drink and I express to her that I don't because I'm not sure how it's correct if she hasnt listened to my full substitution and add ons. I never even paid so I know you don't have everything. she immediately becomes a victim and starts trying to debate. umm maam. the dif between starbies and dunkin is the cu service and customization. you immediately failed. i WILL NEVER darken the doorways of this location EVER again. I have to update my review. I just witnessed a crazy encounter. Kudos to all the baristas in there especially the female on shift. She quickly de-escalated the situation by asking both persons to leave the store since neither had masks on. Aside from the fact that this is one of the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever seen. It's also not that busy... I Work nearby and I go in for water every day. I've never had an issue asking for an ice water as I pick up my coffee. The last few times I've been told to go "order water at the register." Today I was told to order water at the register and there was no one in the store... It feels like people pick and choose what rules they want to follow and when. A customer asking for a cup of water should not be a big deal... considering I can't order it ahead of time, if there was a line I would have to wait to order when I already ordered online?? I have been given plenty of cups of free water here by staff and neverrrr scolded for not ordering it at the register. I love going to this Starbucks because the staff is so friendly and they always greet me every time I come. My coffee is always ready on time. You will always see the baristas smile and they are also helpful. I wanted a different type of coffee so gaby made me a small coffee to try for my birthday and it was good. She was very helpful. Great location for friendly quick service. Baristas get to know your name and your regular order, it has become my go to stop on the way to work. I look forward to seeing my friends every morning! I stop at this Starbucks location once in a while because it's near my job. I was extra tired a few days ago so I decided to grab a cup of coffee. I asked for the Veranda Blend but they said it was still brewing so I could either wait or pick something else (there were 2 other choices). I don't like trying new coffee so i decided to wait. Less than 1 minute later, my coffee was ready. I noticed that the 'barista' handed me a small card with my coffee. I read it when I was back in my car-- it was for one free cup of coffee! Not a fan of this Starbucks. There is always new staff whenever i go and they are just as bad as the last ones. They always look and act miserable. They let customers wait forever before even addressing them. I can understand if you are making a coffee when I walk in and you can't get to me right away, but at least acknowledge that you know I'm there ESPECIALLY If the place is dead. The last few times the coffee has been horrible. My last caramel macchiato was cold and tasted like brown water. I didn't sip it while I was inside and was pissed that because I couldn't even drink it and had to throw it away. Also, the store is ALWAYS in need of cleaning. The only reason I continue to press my luck with this place is because I take night classes at the university right there and sometimes I just gotta have some coffee. read more

This one is located off route four and early in the morning the team is always on point and ready to get you caffeinated. Service is sometimes inconsistent and not everyone is the most pleasant but the drinks are made correctly. I've lived in Bergen County for 4 years now and started going to this Starbucks 2 years ago. I stop at this place between 640-7am Monday - Friday's on my way to work. Sometimes there is a short line, sometimes I walk right in and out. This is one of my favorite Starbucks, likely because the people they have working there in the mornings over the past 2 years are great. They are friendly and smile and are helpful if you have a question. They just renovated it 2 months ago and it looks great. I can't say that parking sometimes stinks like others because I go before 7am when everything else in that location is closed. However, everything parking and traffic wise is Bergen County stinks so I can assume The parking here does also when the stores are all Open. Updated May 17, 2018 So, after 7+ years of stopping here in the morning for my cup of coffee I am going to be heading elsewhere. In the past few weeks as they began transitioning a new manager in to replace the wonderful existing manager Kat, who is now on leave due to having a baby, the overall environment and ambiance of the store has diminished. When I pulled into the lot in the mornings, it was obvious over the past few weeks which manager was there by the amount of cars parked in front of the store. Few cars there, Kat was running the show, 10+ cars, it was transitioning manager and an easy longer wait when going in the store. New manager has shifted or adjusted the hours of seemingly all morning staff which has led to longer lines, slower service and a diminished atmosphere as there is little interaction or smiles with customers and a sense of completely being overwhelmed. The inviting and want to go there for coffee experience has been taken from the morning regulars. One can only hope corporate gets their act together her or Kat and the regular morning crew return quickly! Til then, quick chek makes a great cup of coffee in the morning, and another Starbucks location will get my business when I need a coffee in the afternoon. read more

It was a typical busy Saturday afternoon and they seem appreciative. They need a raise. Highly recommend to have them make your coffee. read more
