The owner made me a latte with a double shot, sweetened with maple syrup and that was one of the best lattes I have had in a long time (wish the cup was slightly larger) haha. I went in that day hoping to get the kimbap, but they only have that on Saturdays. What did I do? Head back on Saturday morning for two orders of kimbap. And guess what? It was my first time even having it, but I knew from photos I needed to have it and would really enjoy it. The first day I went, I had the croissant bulgogi sandwich that has bulgogi, eggs, arugula, chili spread and then it's pressed! It is very good! Paired with my perfect latte and I was for sure going back the next day! The next day, my latte (still the same order) was not the best, but I am aware that it is really in the hands of the barista haha! I got the bulgogi kimbap and the tuna kimbap and it was really good! The sauce that is paired with them was great. I liked the bulgogi kimbap much better, but I am glad I was able to try two different kinds as my first experience. I was feeling a bit under the weather and needed a good coffee to soothe me and give me some energy. My Latte w Lavender Syrup was so delicious and well made. The espresso was pulled well, it was creamy, and balanced overall. Luckily, we came on a Saturday and were able to try their Saturday special - Kimbap! We got the Bulgogi Kimbap which was made fresh with an assortment of traditional ingredients from vegetables to egg to carrots to pickled radish and more. It was served with their house-made soy sauce which was lighter and more fragrant, almost like a vinaigrette. It was savory, tangy, and grew on me with each bite. I usually have this with gochujang or a spicy mayo sauce but this was refreshing. All in all, great try! I will absolutely be back.

But there are metered parking lots nearby. Monday-Saturday, you can't park in the parking lot in the back, but on Sundays, the library is closed, so you could probably park there (at your own risk!). But metered parking is also free on Sundays and it's less busy on Main St.

Ordered: Iced Lavender Latte (~$7): with pistachio milk…read more12oz Pistachio Latte (~$6) Aya's take: Koocheh is a fairly new Persian coffee shop and I've been meaning to give it a try! I got the Iced Lavender Latte which was super delicious! I loved the boldness from the espresso along with the creaminess of the pistachio milk (this was the default milk choice for this) and just the right amount of lavender syrup to enjoy this latte. Great floral flavor and gave me the caffeine kick I needed. The Pistachio Latte was basically a regular latte made with pistachio milk. It's a bit misleading as there's no pistachio flavor/syrup actually in it aside from the milk. I found the Pistachio Latte to be quite subtle in flavor and tasted more like a regular latte and it actually could've used some sweetness to enhance the taste. Good try and hope they do well in Hoboken!
