Here are this particular location's problems: * It is a local teen hangout and the kids can get a bit annoying and loud. * You could frequent this place every day for a year, and the staff will treat you like you are new customer. Not mean, but just indifferent to the fact that you frequent their store and help pay their paycheck. * They screw up drinks often and sometimes just plain forget about you. The only downside about this Starbucks is the parking. It may take you a couple minutes to drive around to find parking and there's also no drive thru. However, the drinks are very consistent here. I actually ordered a bunch of drinks here for my friends, and they made a drink incorrectly. I called the store, and they mentioned I can come back anytime for a complimentary beverage. When I walked in and mentioned that I had spoken to a manager about an incorrect beverage, the manager apologized and immediately made me the best drink I've ever had from a Starbucks. Great location! Also, this is a great place to come in the summer because you can walk around Park Ridge while sipping on an iced cold beverage! read more

This store is spacious, has ample parking, and outdoor seating. Plus they rock the Clover!! Good lighting for reading and the music isn't too loud. Staff was friendly and informative. As a plus, they have a "made with a mac" photo book of the store's construction and opening. The non-funtional drive thru is an oddity, but that makes the store unique. read more

First time here, Lovely super spacious place and the coffee's not bad either. Well, I wouldn't say they have the best coffee but pretty good. the staff is friendly and ambience is really good. I always order my chocolate Mocha Frappuccino! This time ordered the nut Mocha Frappuccino which was pretty sweet, for those who like their coffee that way - the red velvet and orange cake, and chocolate raspberry cake, which are nice too.All in all, nice place to chill with friends or even when you just wanna be anti-social. By far one of the best Starbucks in Chicago and it's local suburbs. It has/had some of the best Partners for any store I have ever frequented over the years. It almost feels like family. They work very hard to get to know you, and will bend over backwards to correct any mistakes that can happen in a very busy store such as this. Patience is very important sometimes here when they get very busy. The cons: The crowds. It can get very busy in cycles, and some customers expect too much too soon. It has a lot of regulars who continue to return daily, which would explain the crowds. So they must be doing something right. Another con: Too many customers camping out taking up more tables and chairs then they need for themselves because of free wi fi, but you come to expect that at any Starbucks since they created that type of monster. read more

Terrible example of management my phone said it was happy hour today look at the details it was tomorrow but this manager was so rude at the store can't believe she is a decision maker. Ok, I'm not a Starbucks person. I rarely drink coffee, and if I do I make it at home. So when I had an hour to kill with a friend and she suggested Starbucks, I was like "Sure why not?" It was later in the afternoon, so I didn't want caffeine. And, truth be told, I panic when I look at the Starbucks menu. So many choices, and I don't know what 90% of the stuff is. So I ordered an orange mango smoothie. Waited a while. Took a sip. No flavor whatsoever. For 4.29 + tax. And a dollar tip. I've had better smoothies from a McDonald's drive-thru. Seriously. So we sat down - me on the couch, my friend on a chair, and end table in between. An end table with a bunch of trash and a puddle of coffee. Kinda gross. I love Starbucks for many reasons. This Starbucks has a lot of room and its great for studying which is great. I have been coming to this location recently for that reason, but every time I order my drink, which is a very berry hibiscus, I ask for light ice and water. This doesn't mean that I want less of the drink and regular ice, when I order a grande they don't fill the cup to the top, so essentially it's like I ordering a tall and paying for a grande. I am not happy about this at all, and because of this, I don't think I will be returning to this location as frequently as I used to. read more

My opinion that you must be the laziest human being if you can't just park and walk in. There is so much congestion in this area that it would be torture... Hmm what a great place! My gf and I used to go there all the time when we lived in park ridge. We still do stop by this place just because its a great atmosphere and we love the employees there. Things that I dont like is sometimes in summer theres so many young people there so if your trying to find a quite place to read while drinking a hot coffee its not so great. They always try to keep those who are loud quite thats why I like this place so much. I also think they are price but im willing to pay the price because their coffee is just so darn good. (Carmel coffee). I wished we didnt move so my gf and I could go there more often. Now we are going to a different starbucks coffee but it feels different then the one in park ridge uptown. read more

Worst Starbucks in ages. Everyone's order was wrong. We waited for 20 mins or more as they made my husband's drink wrong. So instead of fixing it first, they waited until they served everyone else in line- a good 15 people. Only one girl there (short blonde shaved hair) was really working and knew what was going on. While the baristas here are always friendly and the service is always great, only after last night did I feel compelled to write a review. I had just finished an exhausting first week back at school and had acquired a sore throat. I'm not normally a tea drinker, but thought a hot tea would do me good. Thankfully, this Starbucks is open later than most and I was able to get in about 20 minutes before closing. Feeling bad I was coming in that late, I sheepishly asked if there was any hot tea left. The incredibly friendly barista asked what I would like, I asked him what was good since I'm not too familiar with teas, and told him my kiddos got me sick and I had a tiring week so whatever would help with that. I apologized for coming in so close to closing, but he genuinely said, "No problem!", laughed, and added, "It's on the house. Thanks for teaching our kids. I made you a Peach Tranquility tea with honey. Hope you like it." Wow, just wow. That was so going above and beyond and it was such a wonderful way to end a rough week. I go to Starbucks often. It is one of my favorite places. My favorite beverages from Starbucks are the Double-Chocolate-Chip Frappe, Passion Fruit Iced Tea Lemonade, and the Carmel Iced Coffee.I recomend going there because the staff is very good and really nice environmrnt to be in when you need to work.
