They are totally disorganized. Their line is always too long when I go and I have to wait an hour at least to get my order. And if you're trying to order pickup, don't. They don't help you inside, there's just a bunch of drinks sitting at the pickup counter and you have to guess what's yours. Then, they were out of mocha for one of my drinks and didn't even tell me. I had to ask why one of my drinks said no mocha. When I asked the girl she was dude about it. Do not go to this location. I've been disappointed every single time. read more

This is by far the WORST location Starbucks has! Not only are they slow and could care less about it, my daughter just got off of work, pulled up to the location (5 mins prior to closing) to get a single cookie and nothing else. She got out of the car and right before she reached the door, the employee literally RAN down the hallway, to the door and locked it in her face....then proceeded to walk away! I understand nobody wants to stay past closing.....but it wasn't 8:00 pm yet. I've worked in food service as well as retail for the past 30 years. Wonderful staff were quite friendly and helpful. The coffee was fantastic as usual (cold brew with milk), restroom facilities were clean and well kept, and even the patrons were kind. Definitely one of the better Starbucks I've visited, and it's probably the 30th I've been to. read more

Starbucks is Starbucks. The good: It is a clean bright facility and even though I arrived at the morning rush the young woman behind the counter did a good job. The bad: To be fair I am not a huge Starbucks fan and due to distractions I was 20 minutes down the road before I took my first sip. I usually go to this Starbucks 2-3 times a week since it's very close to my house, but after today I'm very upset at this location. I went inside and got a custom drink for almost $8 and they weren't nice, they took 15-20 mins to make me my drink and that's ridiculous. The service here is so unfortunate and they don't even take care of their regulars. I have given this location so many opportunities to improve and hoped they could get it together, but it's been an ongoing train wreck for over a year now. I work 2 buildings down and this is the most convenient coffee shop on my way to work. I mobile order my coffee every morning and typically order before i leave my house to ensure it'll be ready when I get there. This morning was just one example of many, I mobile ordered 25 minutes before I arrived. When I get there, I walk inside to see my order isn't ready yet. As frustrating as this was, the store was visibly busy so I politely asked for the status of my order from the closest barista. I believe her name was Jess or Jessie (She had purple hair but I could not read her name tag entirely), she immediately got an attitude with me and held her finger up at me telling me she was trying looking up other peoples orders and didn't have time to look up mine. She very rudely proceeded to tell me that there were 4 or more orders ahead of mine and that I would "just have to wait until I hear my name called". So now, not only had I given them 25 minutes to prepare my order, but waited between 10-15 more minutes in store. I have been mobile ordering to this store nearly every morning with understanding and knowledge that they're not always the smoothest running business. I do my best to always allow plenty of time prior to my arrival (even though their estimated order completion time is 10 minutes after ordering), I still try to give them near 20 but after my experience this morning, I will do my best to no longer give this location my business. I got my Grande blonde roast and put cream in it.. took a sip.. wow cold coffee... so brought it back to the barista.. she said I put to much cream in it causing it to cool it down to room temp.. Just stopped in to order a vinti green tea. I told them of a fly in their food display case. The young girl said, "we do not get your food out of there". Another lady came to remove it. The girl making my drink stated to make my drink in their small cup and put my 4 honeys in it. I asked her if that was mine and she said, "yes". I told her that I ordered a vinti so she got that cup then turned the small cup upside down into the vinti cup to get the honey out (which really did not work). Then filled it up with the hot water and gave it to me. I just asked for more honey and was given to me with some attitude. read more

Just visited this Starbucks for what (I thought) was the first time. The experience was so bad, so different than what I am accustomed to at Starbucks throughout the world, that I thought "I'd better post a Yelp review and help warn others away". Low and behold, I had been to this location several years ago and only remembered by opening up my previous review. Maybe I need that caffeine more than I realize. Maybe I deliberately brain blocked that previous trip, to forget the horror. Either way, what's really sad is that the review I was planning to write was already pretty much summed up by my previous post. Counter staff never greet anyone, take forever to actually help customers (I had to wait almost 5 minutes after finally being acknowledged because the barista had to finish cleaning something while having a running conversation with coworkers), and generally have an attitude that could be considered FAR from friendly or helpful. Maybe management should reassign her from the register, because the whole store could use some of them cleaning skills. You know it's bad when fruit flies seem like the happiest customers of the day. They were out of something I ordered and instead of apologizing or offering my money back the barista said "well, you can have A or B instead" like she was doing me a favor (neither were more expensive than what I ordered). The beverage I ordered was fine, but not enough to make up for everything this store is lacking. It's a shame, too because this store is 5 minutes from my house and in a very convenient location. I won't be back, even for coffee. I rarely give one-star reviews but their consistent awfulness makes it well deserved in this case! Service at this Starbucks was less than stellar. Girl at the counter seemed to have a bit of an attitude an not a single person was friendly. Drinks came out fairly quickly but tasted very weak compared to what I'm used to at other stores. I know the holiday season can be kinda busy for Starbucks in general, so maybe I'll give this location another chance sometime in the future. Terrible customer service. Initially great service until my family got charged for two extra coffees we did not order. Then the rest of the staff apologized saying "We can refund you and you can just keep the coffees." Right afterwards we all realize all 3 coffees that we're repeated did not even have caramel in them which was the initial order for ONE caramel latte. The staff puts caramel in all 3 at this point, hands them over. Then an African American woman employee asked us "Do u still want the refund?" Which had already been told we were going to receive. She then snatched the two extra coffees throws them away after already telling us we could just take them with us and asks, "Where do u want your money put?" Very disappointing. Used mobile order and pay to order a tall Caramel Macchiato and a Grande Doubleshot on Ice. The former was good. However, the app specifies exactly what the recipe is for each drink you order, and the doubleshot is my girlfriend's favorite drink. It's supposed to be simple syrup, ice and espresso, shaken to create a foam and topped off with a splash of milk. It is supposed to have 2, 3 or 5 pumps of syrup respectively for the tall, grande and venti sizes. When the drink came up with no syrup to speak of, the barista, Ashleigh, took the drink back and squirted five pumps of simple syrup on top of the drink. Not only was it excessively sweet, since Grandes only get three pumps, it also didn't have the consistency one expects since the syrup can't just be splashed on top. We went to the register to correct this, and a smaller woman helped us (name escapes me, otherwise I'd write it since his woman was very nice and helpful) and explained that the Doubleshot is her favorite drink, and would happily replace it and upgrade us to a Venti for our troubles. I wish I would have asked her to make the drink. Ashleigh made the drink in the proper order this time, but proceeded to put in SEVEN pumps of simple syrup. That's nearly five tablespoons of straight sugar. It was insanely sweet and I didn't know what to do after getting the wrong drink three times in a row. I will be avoiding this location in the future. I was willing to give an extra star because the lady at the counter was so nice, but it didn't make up for the barista either not knowing a basic recipe or, for some reason, purposefully putting way too much syrup in. read more

Store #13466 is for lack of a better word, incompetent. The supervisor JoAnna is rude when resolving issues. They often get my drink order wrong. My latest insult came after they disputed putting a simple lid on my cup due to "code." That coffee spilled on myself and the radio screen including all control buttons of my Porsche Boxster S. They did absolutely nothing to compensate. No remake of the drink, no interior cleaning to minimize the damage to my car, etc. I would advise NOT to buy the eco friendly cup they always have for sale because they will never put the top on. This was the worst customer treatment ever by a corporate owned enterprise. read more

I've never given a Starbucks a review before, but the most recent time I've been I was in and out the drive through in (I kid you not) less than a minute. Not friendly. They close 30 MINUTES before posted closing. If you are inside having coffee, floors are mopped around you making you feel that you need to leave. Drive thru lights are shut off way before closing. Worst Starbucks I have ever been to and will not return. Got two stars because at least coffee was great. They need night management! Once again I waited in line for about 12 mins after ordering. I hate that this is the closest Starbucks to my home. I miss my favorite location and the staff always spoke to me each and every visit, which by the way is every morning and sometimes one in the afternoon. It's hard when you spend about $150 a month at this locations and when they can't have 1 drink ready before 10 mins and still charge you for it...I guess I'm used to the location a Bayou blvd. if it takes them longer than 5 mins it seems to get my coffee to me it's free. However they are never this SLOW!! Maybe once in a blue moon. I also just find the staff at this particular location I'm writing about not so friendly. I think I can count on 1 hand the number of people that speak to me. I can't believe since I've been coming here for the past 4 months no one can remember my name. When I pull up at the bayou blvd location they are asking me "How are you today Jennifer, you want your usual". That is customer service and it's something that I don't think will ever be addressed at the 9 mile location. This is my second review for this location and I didn't even get a response on the first one from not even a manager. I've been in business management and I would NEVER conduct my business like this. It's always about the customer and this is something I think this particular location has never known anything about. You have to have a good leader to run a good team and this one is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. So, once you have been to one Starbucks, you have been to them all. Starbucks has much become a "thing" not just in the US, but also around the world. After traveling to Shanghai, China last fall, I was quite surprised that my family has ditched the tea houses and got hooked onto the international "frappucino" craze. Not being a coffee drinker at all, I came to have a tiny outing with my coworkers after insisting on coming here. This location is like the the many others around the world. I do have to say that this location has more seating than the one near University Parkway and Publix. But, one major con is that this location is not very clean. Most of the tables are very sticky and a lot of them had some type of debris left on them. I ended up ordering the "Very Berry Hibiscus" since I absolutely don't do coffee. At about $5 a cup, I felt the price to quantity ratio was not exactly balanced. read more

While two staff stand around and one makes drinks. It was me, one other customer, and someone in drive thru. Took 5 minutes for me to get one latte before other customers because convo was priority. So I thought I had posted a negative review for this store for some of my previous interactions here with long waits and drinks not made to how I requested them. I'm glad i never hit post review for the changes I've witnessed the last couple of weeks. I go to this Starbucks five to six times a week. I do both preordering on my app and person to person ordering depending on how late I'm running. I've had a lot of bad experiences at this location however it has been wonderful the last couple of weeks. You have an awesome crew, positive, engaging, and quick. My personal favorite is the male barista with the beard. I see him mostly working the well, or making the coffees, if you will. He knows me and knows it's my order when I walk in if I've ordered on app. Little things like that make people want to come back. Not the place to go to get your starbucks coffee. This location was very hastily thrown together, it seems. From the great, big "WE ARE OPEN" sign painted on the windows (reminiscent of the sign in Clerks), to the staff's obvious miniscule training on any of the basic tasks or knowledge of their products. Do not expect what you get at the other locations around town. Do expect to be overcharged, not given your cup discounts because oops, they forgot hee hee, or have them stay cool under pressure. I order from the cashier a small drip with room (probably the most basic drink of all) and I get a wide-eyed deer in the headlight look every time. Send them to training, please! Looks like in about a year, they will actually be on point and know what to do instead of running to their manager for help who, in fact, looks like she drew the shortest straw when it came time to deciding who had to babysit these unfortunate recruits.
