Stopped by this Starbucks while I was waiting for Castrol to open up. I had low expectations based on the other reviews posted but I had a great experience. It was fairly busy and I was able to get in and out within 10 minutes. There were at least 7 staff working behind the counter and the barista who called out my name even reminded me that if I wasn't happy with the coffee to let them know and they would remake. My coffee was great though so that wasn't necessary! I deducted one star because the tables and counter with all the sugars / creamer needed some cleaning. read more

Decided to swing through while shopping today and used the mobile order option seeing as the drive thru is always busy. Well that was definitely a mistake. I ordered and arrived about 5 minutes later; walked inside and waited by the mobile pickup area. As I waited, and waited, I watched 6 customers order and receive their orders, and I still waited. After waiting almost 15 minutes, I finally received my two drinks. During my wait, I observed pure chaos. There was one young woman working mobile orders and it was obvious that she didn't have a care in the world for anything, especially customer service. One lady went to pick up her drink and it said no whipped cream, however, there was whipped cream on it. The employee took a spoon and swiped it off, leaving some in the cup and all over the side. She put a lid on it, swirled it around to mix in the leftover cream and handed it to her. She asked if she could clean the cup a little and the employee pointed to where napkins were. Really!?! When she made my drinks, she had the cups pressed up against her chest while pouring milk and tightened the lid with her forearm. When she handed me my order I said thank you and she remained silent, just like with every other customer that thanked her. I lived in Washington for a few years, so I know I'm spoiled when it comes to Starbucks, but let me tell you, this one wouldn't be in business for more a month or two if they were located out there. 1/2 mile or so off of I-95 so we stopped. what a mistake. more than 20 drinks were sitting on counter waiting for mobile order pickup. 26 people in store...waiting for their coffees. we waited 30 minutes and finally just got our money back. Called "manager" who offered a free coffee lol. I can speak from experience about the Starbucks experience since I am a former partner and Shift Supervisor. I normally give a lot of grace, but not today Satan. Knowing how slow this location can be, I sent through a mobile order app at 8:30 am this morning for a coffee traveler. Arrived at 8:55, only to see a barista and shift supervisor screaming at each other in the front outside seating area. Whoa! Walk in and they are 45 tickets deep, one working the ovens/front register, one on bar, and one covering drive thru. My coffee order hadn't even been started or even acknowledged. Apparently a barista had walked out and wanted everybody to know it. Instead of focusing on maintaining morning rush, the remaining baristas all decided to have a kumbaiyah fest and all hug each other/cry. Never mind the 30 plus people glaring at them for drinks. Never mind the lack of consistently in maintaining operational flow. Business stopped so they could have therapy. Seriously? Two separate customers told me this is the second day in a row this has happened. Management needs to pull It together and the hugging/group therapy/huddle needs to happen after morning rush. Whether you go inside or through the drive thru if you don't plan at least 20 minutes of waiting on their incompetency you've had an above average experience. I'd much rather be anywhere but this Starbucks! By far the most chaotic Starbucks I have ever been to. Starting off, they had one person at the register who was extremely s l o w causing a HUGE line. They were out of every sandwich/baked good we tried to order, and had to check individually for each item every time instead of just writing down what they had/didn't have in stock. Most of the beverage products were also out of stock, I ordered mine with almond milk and no whip, but they put whipped cream on it. When I asked the person to remake it they then made it with whole milk. The third time around they got it correct because I watched. On top of everything else, the entire behind the counter area was dirty and cluttered. Gallons of milk were just sitting out with the caps off, wet/used blenders everywhere and plastic wrappers all over the counter. The floor was also sopping wet. Additionally, a girl came in who obviously worked there but wasn't working at the moment, and all the workers who were working had to stop and talk to her, even with a huge line of customers and drinks waiting. read more

Loooooonnnnngg wait for a quad espresso and a lemon loaf. Plenty of staff. Or at least I've been to similarly staffed stores with less of a wait. And on top of that they had drinks sitting out that had been there for 5 HOURS not picked up. Disgusting. Trash needs to be emptied and tables need to be cleaned. Baristas May have been busy but they were quiet and not friendly which is unusual for most good baristas. Overall take away is that this is a dirty store where the employees don't care. read more

Quite literally the slowest and least proficient Starbucks I have ever been to in all of my world travels. Today was my 3rd visit to this location. My last visit was a 30 minute trip through the drive thru (not exaggerating), I did not even move my vehicle for the first 15 minutes I was parked in it. Unfortunately there is curbing so you're trapped in it. I was actually worried that the Tesla in front of me would run out of juice. Today was my quickest of the 3 drive thru experiences. It took 14 minutes and there was only one car in front of me that had already ordered and was at the window before I pulled in. They made me wait 5 minutes just to take my order. When I got to the window, my drink was sitting there already done and surrounded by 3 employees. A few minutes later one of them finally handed me my drink and then took my payment. Same story every time, one employee running around seemingly doing all the work AND manning the window and two or three employees with their heads up their asses standing in their way. Does this location even have a manager or a local franchise owner? I would be surprised if the answer is yes. read more

I ordered mobile around 9:40 and was there til about 10:05 and then talked about rudely by " Gracelynn" teal sweatshirt on after the guy asked her to make my drink because I've been waiting she proceeds to say " the one staring at us so we make her drink faster " he nodded yes.. didn't catch his name but I responded and said " I wasn't I'm just waiting " which I was never huffed of puffed they were just rude and nasty then when she gave me the drink had the nerve to act all happy & nice like I didn't hear her .. then we're messing up on people's drinks the nerve. This place is the most unorganized establishment that I've ever visited. I literally waited for over 30 mins for a simple black coffee and a simple latte. I saw countless drinks sitting around before given out and countless orders dumped because they were incorrect. Definitely a management fail. Is there a law about beverage temperatures in GA? Ordered two extra hot whole milk venti lattes. One of them was so lukewarm it was not even drinkable. They made me another. Well, it was above lukewarm. I could not bring myself to ask for a third try...but this was NOT up to the standards I expect from Starbucks by a long shot. And it was SO SO SO slow, I felt like it was a human experiment in how much they could delay filling orders before people left in frustration. This has been my go to place for coffee and such since it opened. It is sad how bad this place has fallen. From opening late, being kept filthy and not having things ready for customers. It is pitiful that they just dont seem to care here. I use to praise this location for the service and making customers feel welcome. Now it is more like the customer is a inconvenience. read more

Wait a few miles till the next store!! Quad Venti Caramel Macchiato Their espresso tastes like Burnt Blonde pulled from a dirty machine. With my drink like that and either the espresso took the flavor away or They skimped on the syrup but it tasted like a Blonde Americana. Ugh for 7$, it's not freagin rocket science. Definitely the slowest and least organized Starbucks in the region. They are also probably the busiest, which makes it even worse. They need more efficient employees, and probably better management. They need to take lessons from the Victory Dr location. Mobile orders seem to take about 15-20 mins to get ready, so be aware that you'll likely be waiting, even when you order ahead. After waiting 18 mins we found out that apparently mobile ordering doesn't come through to the printer. I was told the same thing last week, so it appears that they need to get their systems working. read more

Its official this location has the slowest service of any Starbucks I have visited. What's so annoying is I did not order a drink. I ordered one item that required warming in a microwave. Considering there were four cars ahead of me I should have had that 1 item ready to go after I paid. Well NO that didn't happen. I am not sure when corporate will intervene at this Starbucks. This Starbucks is awful everyday, but today especially. I put in a mobile order for a cold brew and 45 minutes later they have no idea when they'll be able to make it. Only 2 of the six employees working are making drinks. A 7th employee had just been walking around having casual conversations with the others. First time visiting this particular Starbucks as I was off in search of gas on the road north to drop my daughter at camp in North Carolina. Convenient to I-95, this location is outside the Tanger Outlets in Pooler - just outside Savannah, Georgia. On a road trip, my daughter and I made use of the restrooms. They were clean and functional with no offensive sights or smells. Store was busy and we waited in line about five minutes. I had a tall Flat White, she had a Chocolate something or another Frappuccino. Drinks were made correctly. Baristas seemed detached and although polite, didn't go out of the way to make conversation. Drive thru seemed exceptionally busy, but I guess this is true of any Interstate fast food stop. Especially one outside a major outlet mall. /s/ William E. Loud due to open constructed ceiling and grab n go nature of this particular shop. They do have plentiful wall outlets and free WiFi. Only one big table and several cafe tables crammed together in seating groups for four. Polite staff and quick, but not a sit and study awhile atmosphere. read more
