Came here today (a Saturday) and it was fairly busy, as usual. While I've never had a really bad experience at this location, my experience on this day was exceptional. We were helped by Elise. My girlfriend purchased a chorizo breakfast sandwich but the sandwich was not heated all the way through and was cold in the center. They were all out of chorizo sandwiches, otherwise Elise would have prepared a new one for us. My girlfriend told her it would be acceptable to reheat the already bitten sandwich. She made an honest attempt to do that using the oven but in the end she wasn't comfortable serving us that reheated sandwich as it didn't come out as well as she had hoped. That was respectable, so we agreed and she offered us a replacement item of our chosing. My girlfriend selected the egg white bites. Elise surprised us shortly after with two orders of the bites, with two forks (she must have noticed that we were both looking hungry!) and my girlfriend and I enjoyed them together. Probably the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Slow, inefficient, and not necessarily rude, but they're definitely not the friendliest either. I am a Starbucks junkie, with that being said there are definitely better locations. But the staff here is very friendly. Like many of the other reviewers, I agree they are really REALLY slow. Even when I'm the only car in the drive thru I still end up having to wait for one reason or another (most times it seems that the baristas are having such great convos with each other that they forget that I asked for soy milk and end up having to start all over again, also yes, there was a hint of sarcasm in that). Anyway, most time they are very apologetic for the long wait. And if there are more than five cars in the line, I really hope you aren't in a hurry, because you are in for a 10-15 min wait! And tbh I actually gave two stars because although my fraps are made fresh right in front of me, they are always super watery/melty. Be prepared to wait either ways, inside or drive through. The place is really under staffed. Best advice: order whatever you need on the app and choose pick up. It will save you a great amount of time. Trust me, you will thank me later. Other than the waiting time, the barista usually does a great job making the drinks. Parking can be hard to find since there are two other restaurant right next to it. The place doesn't have enough seating for the amount of traffic it gets. Worse experience at a Starbucks ever. We pulled up to the establishment and saw a huge drive thru line so we decided to go inside. Once we got inside, we noticed a lot of customers waiting for their order and ones waiting to order. While we waited in the order line, it took us about 20 minutes to place an order. we took a seat to wait for our order and it took an additional 30+ minutes to get my white chocolate mocha. I think this location could have great potential considering it is in a very populated area with several daily peak times. My first mistake was walking in at 6:20 am on a weekday. In my defense, there was only one person in front of me! It shouldn't be that bad, right? The drive thru had a maximum of 5 cars, compared to the 10 or more I saw in line when I left. Mobile orders are the key to ordering here. People whose mobile order ticket just came in were being made drinks immediately. Meanwhile at this point there are about 10 people who walked into the store and ordered. How long did I wait? I had enough time to use the bathroom and then sit for another 10 minutes at the counter, watching the in-store orders pile up, see several drive-thru orders go out, and notice the ready mobile orders just sit there because those people hadn't walked in yet. I was ready to say, "hey, did you forget about me?" and I rarely feel that way at Starbucks. One guy walked in, asked if I was waiting long and walked out saying it was the same way yesterday. He said they have a lot of new people working; I don't know how true that is but I did hear one barista ask the other how to make a few of the drinks. Consistently slow service both in the drive thru and inside. Drive thru took 30 minutes!! Inside took 27! Yes we timed it because I've never been experienced service this slow. Either staff accordingly or work on training your staff. We tend to stop here during our trips on the easy coast because it's a good half way point. I've been to Starbucks all over the United States from Las Angeles to NYC and everywhere in between. Not all are stellar but most of them at least make a good cup of coffee. The Starbucks in Pooler Ga is an exception! This store, right in my own neighborhood is by far the most consistently BAD Starbucks I've ever visited. They can't seem to figure out the simplest thing, like making coffee! They constantly screw up the orders and cop a huge attitude and when you ask them to correct THEIR mistake. This is truly the worst Starbucks in the massive network of Starbucks stores in the US. If I had 20 minutes I would be able to explain everything they have done that portrays putrid customer service, unacceptable mistakes, and the fact that they are constantly out of everything. I have placed an online order 35 minutes ahead, for Egg Bites and an Iced Espresso and on multiple occasions it is not ready. When I address them they are flustered and go make it. Yesterday during "Happy Hour" they were so flustered (12-15 ppl total in store), they turned off the online-ordering system on the app and told everyone ordering it would be 15+ minutes per order wait because it's happy hour and everyone wants (2) drinks. I would give zero if I could- this place is always an absolute mess, by that I mean it's dirty, just straight filthy. Their Service is horrible and Workers have been straight rude on multiple occasions. Making comments about my son and how he looks like a girl cause he has long hair... Let me start off by saying I love Starbucks, however this one is horrible. The building is way too small for the amount of people that stop here. I know that can't be controlled now but when it was built they should've taken into account how popular the franchise is. The staff is extremely slow. I've had wait times of 30+ minutes on most occasions at different times of the day. It seems that no matter what the time or the line you're going to be here a while. The staff desperately needs more training so that maybe they can pick up the pace some. In addition to being slow the staff isn't exactly always the friendliest. I understand customer service is in most times a thankless job but I wasn't the one who was rude to you. I always smile and am nice even though you've kept me waiting for a minimum of 30 minutes. I travel all over the country and find this, the Starbucks where I live, to be the absolute worst one I've ever seen. Yes it gets busy however that's no excuse! I just spent an hour and 10 mins (3:12PM- 4:22PM on 12/26/19) trapped in drive-thru. When I went to confront Ryan the manager (who decided to sport the "Where's Waldo" look for the day), I realized this was the same dude I saw come out of the restaurant, hang-out with some girl for 20 mins, and go back in. I also noticed that during the 5 minutes I was in line, 8 people were served. He gave me some excuse about happy hour and mobile apps. When I asked him why only 3 people have been served in drive-thru while I just saw 8 in the last 5 minutes inside, he said, "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about it". I told him, "Yes, you can. This has got to be the SLOWEST Starbucks I've ever been to. I've tried giving them a chance, but OMG! The last time I was there, the line was ALLL the way outside the parking area. Can't get out or turn around once you get to a certain point. Just north of Savannah tucked away from the outlet stores stands this Starbucks. Very clean with as warm atmosphere the staff smiles and greets the incoming patrons. My rating is based on one experience at this Starbucks. We just stopped here as we passed through on our way to Florida. I went inside and asked the girl at the counter to make a Smores latte, which is not something that's on the menu but every other Starbucks I've been to has been happy to do. The girl said they couldn't do that and I told her that other places have before. She asked the barista if they could do it and she immediately said no as well. She said it wasn't even possible. When I told her that other places have done it, she said she didn't know how they could have. So I went ahead and ordered something else and went on my way. My poor review is because the barista didn't bother to try to make it work or make any effort to be accommodating. She didn't seem to give a you know what.
