Typical Starbucks. Friendly customer service. Friendly and smiley fellow patrons, too, who welcomed me to sit at one of 2 areas with slightly hard but sleek arm chairs positioned around a small table. I got the peach hot tea and a string cheese. My total was a bit over 5 dollars. I am satisfied with the value for the products. The hot tea was a bit too hot initially, so I waited for it to cool down and then it was perfect. Very nice to have delicious hot tea on such a cold afternoon. The string cheese was fine, it tasted good. Nice ambience and mostly very clean except for some questionable drops near the toilet on the restroom floor and a few crumbs on one of the chairs. The employees seem on good terms with each other and they chatted in a warm and friendly way to each other throughout the duration of my visit today. In my opinion this camaderie among the employees added to the ambience in a nice way. I don't frequent Starbucks often, but I was in the Redmond Ridge area today for an appointment, so I thought I'd stop in today. read more

They charged our 13 years old via Starbucks app when the app did not have enough funds, then did not credit the amount back, and just told him to come back again tomorrow if the refund does not happen ... I would like to see them trying that with an experienced grown-up - surely it is easy to brush off a 13 years old. I hope to other comment is needed here ... read more

A perfectly acceptable Starbucks on the ridge, where the drip doesn't taste like garbage. I'm sure they actually change the coffee here every hour like they're supposed to. This is also one of those Starbucks where they actually make conversation with you, and don't seem to be put out while doing so. I've had lattes here and they've been as good as any I've had at Starbucks. The only better latte I've ever had at Starbucks was from the Carnation location, way back when. But that's when humans actually pulled the shot from the original La Marzocco... and those days are long gone. *sigh* read more

Really lame. On December 9th, Starbucks corporate sent me an email for a free birthday drink or food item. I had two days to use my reward, expiring today, December 11th. I was having trouble with my app so I showed the email to the person at the counter (Ruth). Ruth was also unable to get the app to show the coupon. She told me to shake my phone and it will show up. **News flash** Ruth, Androids don't shake. She finally told me "Sorry, there is nothing I can do". I left without my birthday reward. It only takes one experience to make you not want to go somewhere. I don't always go to Starbucks, but I know how the drinks are supposed to be made, even if I didn't though, it didn't quite merit the customer service I received. In my experience people don't go to Starbucks for the quality food or coffee, they go for a quick drink or bite, and they usually continue to come back for the customer experience. This particular young woman (I didn't catch her name), young, dark, long hair up in a ponytail, definitely new, was extremely unpleasant. I had ordered a Caramel Macchiato, and she honestly did all of the wrong things. She queued the espresso shots at the beginning while steaming the milk, which just burns the shots, she dumped it straight down the middle of the drink, and you're supposed to pour it around to spread the flavor, and I don't think she put in the caramel on top. Not to mention, I mentioned the comment about the shots to her; "Hey, just a friendly piece of advice, I wouldn't let the shots sit too long because then they burn, and some customers don't like that." She responded with a rude "What?!" and asked me to repeat what I said, then rudely shrugged her shoulders and said "Okay then!". Definitely not going to want to come back and give them my money, especially if she's there. Just be aware that some of these employees don't care about, not only being a nice person, but just valuing or practicing good customer service. What is it about Redmond Ridge mall?! Most everything tastes better or looks better here, compared to Tacoma anyway. :oP Although the space is long and slender in terms of sitting space, and there's not enough outlets for my pink iPad, they do have an outdoor patio under trees that look East toward the Cascade mountains. I don't think there's any cafe outside of Switzerland that has such incredible views. The staff are really polite and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, want, or that Santa might have missed on your Christmas list! I think this is the best Starbucks I've been to, ever! :o) read more

The women that work here in the morning are so nice and friendly. They do take their time to talk to you and they're very pleasant! The mochas and lattes that I've ordered have been great- as good as any other Starbucks (awesome!) They close rather early though- 7 pm on some days. Very nice little Starbucks. Here we are in Trilogy, a 55+ community, and this Starbucks has the handicap ramp. That's how customer service oriented they are. The store is neat and clean. The barista's are always smiling and it seems to be a gathering place for the neighborhood residents and the residents all have smiles! I don't think I even waited 5 minutes for my Spinach, cheese and cage-free egg breakfast sandwich and decaf vanila latte. Definitely a spot I would stop at whenever I am in the area. read more

This Starbucks has always been good to me. I came here all throughout high school, and I would sit and study and do homework for hours. It gets really crowded in the mornings, but in the afternoon the shop starts to clear up and you're likely to find a place to sit. By then, it's perfectly quiet, but not too quiet--a great place to do work. The workers are always friendly, and the place is always clean. I'll miss this Starbucks for sure! read more

It's ok. The batistas are not naturally friendly. I was made to feel like an idiot 2x for workers here making up their own, unique Starbucks drink policies and pricing. Call corporate and report it. They don't go out of their way to get to know you. It almost seems like an elite club you must belong to to get them to say anything extra aside from, " what can we get you?" I love Starbucks. People are always friendly. Only thing I would change is it's closing time. The closest Starbucks that is open late is in Kirkland, which is a 25-30 minute drive. I would love for this one to stay open till at least 9. I totally think that more people would go if it was open later. read more
