The couple that owns this coffee shop are so friendly! The wife has celiac so almost everything can be made gluten free. Easy parking on the street on a Saturday morning, plenty of seating indoors. They sell merchandise. The bakery case was full and looks like some items were seasonal. We loved being able to choose our own mug for our lattes. The drip coffee I had to-go was okay, it was a little weak for my personal taste but everything else was sensational and we will definitely go back! read more

This is such a nice little gem in downtown Duvall! I met a friend for a quick lunch and this was the perfect spot. Great small town coffee shop ambiance with big windows, natural light, local goods, natural wood, and cozy spots to sit. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered an iced herbal peach tea and a gluten free veggie panini. The tea was large and refreshing and the panini was delicious! We visited Duvall on a wet day. We decided to warm up and stopped at the rustic cabin. The Rustic Cabin Is very welcoming. we walked in looked at the menu and decided on a couple of lattes. we picked out our cups and went and found a place to sit down with our lattes are being made They were a variety of options to sit, but there were two chairs with a table between in front of the fireplace so we sat there. Did I mention it was raining and we were wet? It was a very cozy spot for us. Our lattes were brought to us. Now, the real test. We have a winner. The lattes were delicious. In the midst of a recent multi-day power outage, my guy Steve and I landed at Rustic Cabin Coffee. It was so peaceful, relaxing, efficient and extremely delicious. We both had breakfast sandwiches that were AWESOME. I had the best pumpkin spice latte I've EVER had and Steve had wonderful caffeine-free blackberry tea that he said was out of this world fantastic! :) We were also served by a very kind, helpful, patient, informative woman that even open the door before their traditional start time, to accommodate us and a few others that were out of power and/or internet at the time. My son Wills and my daughter-in-law Marti came to visit us a few years back and shared that The Rustic Cabin Coffee has the best coffee they've ever had. I can now attest to this as well. We also made a new friend while enjoying wonderful culinary delights. :) If you haven't yet been to Rustic Cabin Coffee, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a definite place to experience for sure!! I came here to treat myself to a cozy breakfast and it was a good experience! It's a cute coffee shop with sandwiches and baked goods, with a great cozy vibe and small town feel. It was pretty lively and busy for a Wednesday morning in the summer. The tables were taken so I found a stool, counter seat in front of the windows facing the street. Hands down the best and most consistent caramel macchiato I've ever had. I order this every time I stop here and it's always perfect. Not to mention the great service and cute decor. The gluten free pastries are delicious even as someone who doesn't have dietary restrictions. Really glad this spot has continued to do well here and hope it stays open many more years to come! read more

It's a cute little place where you can find good coffee, good ambience, and a comfortable place to have a talk or just gather with friends. Order first by the counter on one of their cute mugs displayed. It is fun to feel like visitingsomeone. I got a latte and was nice and warm. They completely forgot my son's order and after I asked about it they said they were working on it when they clearly weren't and proceeded to serve several more customers who had come in after us. Today was my first time in this cute coffee shop and I'm in love! Im in love with the smiles and the warm welcome and great customer service i had a wonderful 20 oz iced breve and a cinnamon oat scone as-well as the crustless quiche and banana chocolate chip cookie all of which were stellar and I'm sad i live thirty mins away and its not on my way to work lol but it will be my destination spit any time I'm in duvall thank y'all for a great start to my morning read more

We love Rustic Cabin! This place has been a go to spot in Duvall for several years for us. We enjoy their sandwiches which are made fresh and warm. I love the veggie and cheese panini. They also have wraps and breakfast sammies. For gluten free folks, they have gluten free bread and also many gluten free pastry options. Service is friendly and the space is pleasant and clean. They also have a section selling local crafts and jewelry. Cute spot! read more

The staff is always friendly. Nice atmosphere too. My SO thinks the coffee is the best he's ever had. I'm not a coffee drinker due to being sensitive to caffeine, but had a sip and thought it was very good. It's mellow and not too strong or bitter, but flavorful. I have ordered the Georgia Peach Roobios tea a few times, which is excellent. I usually don't get regular tea at coffee shops because it's usually very bland, but this one is wonderful. Being able to pick your ceramic cup when you order from a variety of styles is a cute idea. The breakfast sandwiches are fairly good. I think the egg could be cooked better and needs a little salt. I think it might be microwaved. The rest of the sandwich is very good. I've had a few different ones. They also have some dessert items too. Highly recommend checking it out. read more

Rustic Cabin was an experience to remember. I went while visiting a friend during my first visit to Washington State. It has a small town charm and you feel like you are in a Nicholas Sparks book where everyone knows (and loves) everyone. The owners are the sweetest couple and make customers feel very valued. It is the best place to just enjoy conversation with friends, read, or do homework. I also loved how they had so many different options for food and many of the items were gluten free! I recently moved to Duvall and am so thrilled that this gem is right downtown! I have a lot of dietary restrictions (gluten free, low FODMAP)-- their made-to-order sandwiches are delicious (with GF bread available), and they have several different milk substitute options. I really love their egg, bacon, and cheddar breakfast sandwich with an oat milk London fog. Lots of seating both indoors and outdoors for working or meeting for coffee/lunch. read more

Place was really cute and the workers really nice. But food wise I thought it was awful. My sandwich had completely raw bacon. And the hardest bread I couldn't bite thru. And the coffee... :( I must have hit an off day because they were crowded and it looked like a great little place. But I threw everything I got away so it was frustrating. And it was a to go order I didn't open until on the road and we got too far so I couldn't do anything about it. Will give it another shot next time Im there visiting my kids. read more

I'm obsessed with this business! I come to Duvall every Tuesday morning for an appointment downtown and have made a routine of stopping by RCC to grab an avocado bacon chicken sandwich and it is THE BEST I've ever had hands down. It's sad the highlight of my week is a sandwich but when you make them as well as this place does it's hard not to be addicted. The people are always super friendly too. :-) read more

First time visiting, and we were really impressed. We drive past this place too often and finally stopped. The atmosphere is really nice and open, and has a great feel to it. The light is good and they were playing some great music too. My wife and I tried their breakfast panini's and really liked them. The staff was super cool and we had a great time chatting with them. Sweet, small town coffee shop. Fantastic tea options as well as fresh coffee. You pick your own mug off the wall for beverages consumed on site. Warm and friendly staff. Cookies and breads daily. Love their Gluten Free baked goods! Soup and paninis terrific for light lunch. Mismatched tables, games for kids, and all -around comfortable and homey. Tables outdoors on sunny days are my favorite. Again, after waiting some time I returned to Rustic. I was careful to order my sandwich. For a second time I received the incorrect sandwich. I ask for a correction. Then someone from the back came out and said she heard my order. I was wrong. Again, she began to argue very loud. It was so upsetting. Lots of laughing at me. She stopped berrating me when I stopped taking to her. Two times in many. This lady is not nice. I am sorry if I questioned her behavior. I will not return. read more

I grew up in the valley and discovered this place on a visit to Duvall. I'm glad to report the Eastside's high quality coffee boom hasn't left my hometown behind. First - they do a flat white akin to versions I came to love in London and Melbourne. Ristretto shots coupled with velvety steamed milk combine to make a drink similar to, but distinct from a regular latte. In my experience, it's rare to find this drink around the Seattle area (Sbux doesn't count), but they have it and do it well here. Second - nitro cold brew in a pint glass. Even my coffee-hating dad gave this a tentative thumbs up. Third - all the drinks I've tried have been good, from regular/iced lattes to an americano to a caramel macchiato. Finally - this place is run by great people. I've always felt welcomed, and love the community being cultivated in and around the shop. 5 stars for coffee and community. read more

I'm so glad I stopped to try this place! I am always looking for new coffee places to try, and I will definitely be coming back here. I got an iced hazelnut latte and the loaded veggie lunch panini, and both were scrumptious. The espresso in the latte was super smooth and really hit the spot, and the panini--omg, the panini...finding a good savory vegetarian to-go lunch option can be tough, but holy cow did this do the trick! Tomatoes, spinach, onion, avocado, cheddar & havarti cheeses, and garlic aioli...it was toasty, gooey, and just the right portion size for a light, satisfying lunch. (It came with chips, too!) The location itself is also really nice--they have a selection of books, mostly about local wildlife and hikes, available for browsing, and there are also some board games available for if you come with kiddos...or if you are like me and just love games :) Last but not least, the customer service was amazing. The employee who helped me order was super sweet, super friendly, and super helpful working with my brain-dead state that I get in before my coffee. Really enjoyed the coffee and food; the mocha is seriously delish with freshly made whipped cream and awesome paninis. Super satisfied!!! It's new and just opened, yet super popular already. The local Duvall couple that own it (Nate and Maggie) are amazing; you have to meet them. They are such an adventurous couple with big hearts for the community. Usually the staff is kind and friendly and make good drinks. But today we ordered the same drink as always but when we received them we noticed something totally wrong with the drinks, it had tasted like the lemonade had gone BAD, it was sour and had some nutty flavor ?! I'm not one to complain or go back so we tried to ignore it, given we had never had a prior problem, but there was no way we could finish those drinks. I thought maybe it was just a bad batch so i go in by myself asking for a remake and they kindly remade it for me. But then a new problem began once the drink they just made had the same rancid flavor the previous did. By this time my friend and I had both come back into starbucks bringing to their attention that maybe their lemonade had gone bad, they brushed this off by saying "hopefully nothings wrong with it " and walking away from us while we were explaining what was wrong with the drinks. They kept offering us to remake our drinks but we were explaining we didn't want new drinks, just for them to be sure they weren't serving bad lemonade to others. At the end of this we did not receive a refund nor anything else, so be safe y'all i don't know if it's gone bad or what but is sure was FOUL!
