I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch grande for pick up. I walked in the store and the girl behind the register said to go down to the very end which I did and it was not my order. They asked me do I have the correct location? So I picked up my phone and asked what is your address and none of them knew what the address of where they worked, so I showed them on the phone that I did in fact have the correct location. The manager told me to go back in line and wait as she scratched her hair excessively during the conversation. I went back to the same cashier who then told me hold on a moment and went to the drive up area picked up my order after a long wait in line I got into my vehicle and proceeded to drive and sip only to find that there were no caramel crunch bits in the order that I placed. read more

Had to pull over to write a review, the ladies this morning (moments ago) were absolutely phenomenal. My mommy brain was spazzing and I was trying to figure out a different drink. (Plus they laughed at my mom jokes, so bonus points) Luckily there was nobody behind me in line so I was able to chitchat for a second to figure it out. Waited on drive through line for 10 min while 4 cars ahead of us were helped. When we pulled up to the window she said we're closing due to short staff meanwhile there's 3 people working it was only 5:19 and there hours are till 9. At the end of the night it's only hot coffee in my opinion no one wants to work the staff is rude and I will no longer give any business to this establishment. The proper way to shut a business down ahead of time would be to send an employee out to cut off the line so that the people who were waiting don't get fucked. Super nice staff. They Always make my drinks just how I like them. The only drawback is that most people use the drive thru and you're waiting forever. Just easier to park and run to get your drink. They are near a racetrack so on race days it can be extremely loud and scary if you're with kids. Just something to keep in mind. read more

I go to the Starbucks every morning on my way to work, I would say for the past two years. The staff is always friendly, no matter how overworked and busy they are, which is very often during the holidays especially with their drive-thru. Spent 30-40 minutes on the line. The employees were extremely unprofessional- didn't greet me, tell me my total at all, kept cursing, and spent a long time messing around, discussing things and procrastinating on orders. They were very slow with their tasks like they were high or something. Starbucks is amazing, and I hate to leave bad reviews, but this Starbucks was something else. From waiting about 25 min for a drink when everyone else behind us already got theirs, to the mess of the store, the employees were extremely rude when I asked when I was going to get my drink. To be specific, "we're in the middle of a peak, so If you don't like it get a refund." Horrible customer service, and working in customer service I know how hard it is to serve during rush but that is not way to talk to a paying customer waiting so patiently. When I asked for a refund they told me to get in the back of a line meanwhile I was already there for 30 Minutes. I left without a refund or a drink. Never had this experience with Starbucks before. The only Starbucks near my job, if it was I wouldn't be going. The drive-thru line takes 20 minutes for 4 cars, and if you don't do the drive thru then prepare for a looooooong wait. Not only does in store do all the mobile orders first but if you park near the building you're blocked In due to the drive thru line. I want in today, I was the only one online. My order was taken right away (7:30am) I waited for my one coffee for no lie HALF AN HOUR! Yeah. My coffee didn't come till 8am ! Within that time 12 mobile orders were made and waiting. I was the only one in store and it took half an hour. It's not the first time either. Let me begin by stating that I am a Satellite, so I take my Starbucks very seriously. But so should they. I am nearing the end of a 5 week stay on the east end and and made the 12 mile drive to the Starbucks nearly every day, for the wonderful convenience of their drive-thru. That's an extra 8 miles than the closer, much better store which does not have a drive thru, and would require me to unload and load the boys just for my coffee. Trust me, even with only one star, it's worth it. However this place takes the cake for the worst Starbucks I have encountered. I drink a Non-fat Vanilla Latte. Not that complicated. It's been wrong at least half of the times they have made it. It's been so wrong 5 times (I've been about 15 times total) that I've either had to drive back around or go inside to have it remade. 1. Not once has anyone ever apologized for the drink ever being made incorrectly. 2. I have always been blamed for the drink being blamed incorrectly. -I didn't say "non-fat loud enough" -If I order non-fat I should also order sugar free -My drink is too complicated 90% of the time the drink is not made with vanilla and instead of offering to remake the drink, they grab the coffee and just pump it in and hand it back to me very annoyed, and unstirred. When I tried waiting at the drive-thru window, the man tried waving me by, behind the closed glass, as if I was sitting there for fun. Finally I had to drive around and talk to him through the speaker!! This one is a classic...when I told him I was waiting for him to open the window again, he said "oh its way too hot out there. The more we open it, the less AC we get". Um, okay. Finally, after the last wrong order, I went inside. My patience was running low so I wasn't friendly, but my no means rude when the barista told me I have to tell the drive thru operated non-fat several times if I want it. How about repeating the order back?? Ever heard of decent customer service? So I asked to speak to a manager. Guess who takes off his headset? The drive-thru operator! And that, ladies and gentleman is why you have a poorly run Starbucks. It ALL starts with management. If you have a manager you couldn't care less about customer service then what kind of example is he setting? He threw me a $4 gift card to shut me up, that didn't even cover the cost of my drink, while he also blamed me and made excuses. I'm sure he treats his employees really well too, if he treats his customers that way. Where are my Starbucks people? You would never see this in Seattle! Anyway, sadly I can't say I won't be back because it's the only drive-thru around. But really, get some new management in there and some more training. For the love of coffee! read more

Worst Starbucks ever! The only reason why I keep going here is because of the drive thru and close proximity to 495. I have written the corporate office a few times and have received drink coupons due to many incorrect orders but that's not all! I have been here about two dozen times. With no exaggeration, I probably received the correct order at the drive thru only 3-4 times. After driving away to find the wrong order I have now learned to sip and check bags before leaving the drive thru and having the order corrected BEFORE driving off. I have gone inside to order when the drive thru is wrapped around the building and have found 4-5 employees working but in no organized direction. I have been the only customer in line inside the store and had to wait 10+ minutes for anyone to come take my order. No one acknowledged I was waiting or anything. Then people started lining up behind me because no orders were being taken. What is up with that? I only waited so long because I was out shopping with no where to be at a certain time. I was kind of curious how long they were going to make me wait. The WORST experience at this Starbucks was when I waited the 10+ minutes to order inside (just two iced teas). The barista making the iced teas dropped the shaker on the floor, left it here while pouring the rest of the iced teas, picked it UP OFF THE FLOOR and proceed to shake my iced teas with it. When he handed them to me, I was shocked and brought the fact that it fell to the floor to his attention. He didn't even look up at me, put my drinks aside and continued to make the next round of drinks for other customers. His co-worker overheard me, apologized, went to the backroom to grab a new shaker and completed my order. Again, I contacted Starbucks corporate about this. It's too bad that this is the only drive-thru location in our are of town and the closest to the LIE. If it weren't for that, I would NEVER give this location my business again. read more

I come to this Starbucks pretty regularly since it's the only local coffee place that has coconut milk as a non dairy option. But the inconsistency of this location is getting ridiculous. You have to mobile order here unless you want to wait 20 mins. Within the last month I've had my order "lost" twice .. poor quality a few other times and told numerous times they don't have what I've ordered & offered me a substitute. Today I was told they don't have "blonde roast" & that they don't brew it after 10am . If I wanted blonde roast I would need to wait for a pour over. ... now I mobil ordered about 12-15 mins prior. Have been waiting .. & they couldn't automatically do the pour over ? Or better yet.. why don't they brew blonde roast ‍‍‍ .. at the end of the day this location needs to work on efficiency & customer service. read more

The Starbucks is inside the Riverhead mall, pretty convenient. However, do note that because of that location, there are TONS of people all the time. The wait is a little ridiculous. It's dirty. It's slow. It's slow. One extra star for getting the right drink. I tried ordering with the app, go in 5 mins later still got to wait again to pick up. I go inside and order, I still gotta wait. They are very slow. Even the ordering process is slow. I don't have this problem with any other locations. Maybe they should learn what's on the menu first before taking on the register. I don't think I once heard him say thank you, or acknowledge when I thank him. And since I gotta wait to get my drink, my eyes roam around and notice all kind of gross. The metal surrounding the sink is rusty and scum covered. The divider between me and him(the barista) has a layer of greasy/sticky substance sprinkled with fiber particles and or hair. I come here all of the time since I live close by. I agree that sometimes the line is pretty long but usually it goes by fast. The parking lot is just a stupid design which makes one scratch their head and go huh? Who would think this is going to be ok? BUT I have always been treated very nicely and they are never out of what I want. I have asked for recommendations from the person who takes the order and have had some nice drinks I would never have thought to try. AND to make it even better, I have had people in front of me pay for my stuff three different times! So then I pay it forward and pay for the people behind me. lack of customer service is the main problem and they do not even know it, If you were to go to any other type of food service establishment and be served one item at a time you would be annoyed and 1/2 would be cold or warm, depending on what you ordered, by the time you get it, So why would anyone feel it is acceptable here. (restaurants do bring you 1 dish at a time especially for take out, get the point). I paid about $22.00 for four drinks and 3 had whipped cream on them. 1st one come up and the server calls my name, i tell him i have an order of 4 items, he says no problem and moves it to the side. five minutes later 2nd item comes out different server calls my name and again I say I have 4 items, she looks at me like I took her puppy away, leaves the cup and walks away. Another 5 minutes passes and the 3rd item comes out, same scenario except she says - you need to get these off the counter we need the room - my answer was not what she expected by a long shot - I said, or you could put them in a drink carrier and actually provide customer service since I am paying quite a bit of money and it isn't self serve and since they are cold drinks leave them in the cooler and figure out how to make 4 drinks in under 20 minutes. She looked at me like she was ready to pass out since nobody has every had the audacity to tell her what customer service means. I then say to her that since 20 minutes have passed since the first cup came out the whipped cream has melted over 1/2. While I am saying this the 2nd girl puts everything in a cup carrier, not just my order but the next order that was stacking on the counter. The woman behind my could not stop laughing. read more

Everyone that works here is super kind and friendly and always puts special care in to my order. Even when they are (rarely) out of stock of my preferred brew, they will always recommend other things to make up for it. The place is always super clean and the service couldn't be better.
