I was in the area and wanted some coffee ! I found myself here. I was greeted upon entering. I went with an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and lean n' green burrito. Everything tasted good! My gripe is the $1.10 charge for almond milk, but they have almond milk on the counter for customers to add to their beverages. $1.10 for my allergy/sensitivity is absurd. Yes, I did see this on their menu prior to ordering, but that was also before I saw almond milk on the counter for customers. $1.10 is almost double what Starbucks used to charge for milk alternatives. I wouldn't go out of my way to return here, but if in the area again I'd consider returning and adding my own almond milk from the counter .

Iced Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was so cute and open![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the seasonal iced Brown sugar cinnamon latte, it was pretty good. Service was decent. They had a seasonal apple cinnamon pie which was not good at all. Very processed and gross. Would come back here, probably just for drinks tho!

Staying nearby and don't have the best service so early this morning I searched on Yelp for a cafe with wifi and it led me here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a clean, cute coffee shop with charming employees. Every area of this place is clean. Even the picnic tables outside look like they're scrubbed down. The creamer area isn't even sticky. Everyone clearly does their part and it shows. Details like this matter to me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My cold brew was decent (I think I just don't like cold brew lol why do I keep ordering it) and my friend's iced blueberry hibiscus tea was excellent!

Chai latte

Some items definitely better than others. Good refreshers, but the lattes (chai and espresso) are not all that. Raspberry crumb cake was just ok - white flour and sugar are the predominant flavors. Staff is always preoccupied, and you've got to work to get their attention. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's nice and relaxing to sit out front; the back has picnic tables that are also nice but a bit buggy in the grass.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Some iced creations.

Good ol' Yelp. Always giving you little reminders and updates and things to help with the reviewing process. For instance, on the semi-recent list of spots I've been to on the front page of the app, I noticed "Last review 2 months ago. Share yours?" for the Hampton Coffee Company location over in Aquebogue. Well 2 months is a long time for a new review for a local spot so let's help them out with this one (because it's a good one!). Hampton Coffee Company just sounds like something that should be overtaking the Dunkin's and Starbucks all over Long Island. Unfortunately, this isn't the case, but you can't deny the fact that this semi-local chain is the real deal. With a handful of spots, HCC has a bit of an eastern LI following and rightfully so; they're legit in the coffee (and food) realm. Case in point: my trip to the aforementioned Aquebogue spot (accompanied by girlfriend and mother). We were just starting to wade our way into the pumpkin-flavored waters of Fall as Hampton was offering up a handful of gourd goodies. I went with the pumpkin crème cold brew to start things off which was smooth, flavorful, frothy, and just plain delicious. So was their pumpkin pie blondie (it wasn't technically made by them, but it was still a local spot that's baked up this beauty). I will say I was also impressed with their bacon, egg, and cheese (cheddar) on an English muffin. The bacon was thick and not too fatty while there was a hefty helping of egg to go along with it. This trio of coffee, sandwich, and baked good made for a splendiferous start to the morning and came to a reasonable price. I will also say that though I loved the location of this coffee spot (right on Main Road), it does bode better for the warmer weather. With a minimal amount of space inside, you'd be out of luck if you were hoping to bring your laptop or a book and spend a few hours sipping on warmth and smelling the fresh ground beans in the colder months. Spring and Summer (even Fall) leads to plenty of tables and a garage door feature that surely sets a super mood when the sun is shining. Grab n' go totally still works, just be aware of the setup situation. Overall, Hampton Coffee Company of Aquebogue is a great place to get your caffeine going in the morning. Perhaps it won't fit the needs of all who pass it by, but for a quick stop in it'll do the trick. Now if only I could get HCC to come a little closer to where I live. This would help in giving me just a little more knowledge of their coffee abilities (beyond pumpkin), plus it'll keep Dunkin' and Starbucks honest. Well, until then, I'll look forward to my next trip out east and I'll continue to give some local (review) love to whatever Yelp tells me needs it. Off I go!

Shaken pumpkin creme cold brew

The pumpkin creme cold brew is one of the best pumpkin coffees I have had, hands down. It tasted like pumpkin pie, has that dash of cinnamon on top and was absolutely delectable. They have tons of pastries and sandwiches. I got the bacon, egg and cheese English muffin. It was fresh and hot and tasted pretty good. The girl who took my order asked us if large coffees were okay, which were a bit pricey, I definitely could have gone with the smaller one. I'm not sure if they were out of the smaller size, but it seemed that was our only option when she asked. It was my first time here from out of town so I am not familiar with their sizes, she definitely upsold us. Besides it being pricey, everything was delicious!

I have passed this place a few times while going out east, and I finally stopped the other day with my boyfriend. The inside has signage and spacing for covid. I got the chai latte and he got the matcha latte. The chai was 4/5 stars. It was sweet and flavorful, but I prefer chais to be a little spicier. The matcha was 5/5. I'm not usually a huge matcha fan, but this was unsweetened and really 'authentic', not like the sugared down versions that everywhere here serves. Very 'green' and natural tasting, so it won't be for everyone, but really high quality and fresh. I also ordered a chocolate croissant, which I honestly wasn't expecting to be good (I was just hungry), but it was fresh and moist and flaky and absolutely delicious. The prices are extremely reasonable when compared to other coffee shops and the quality is much higher than Starbucks, Dunkin, etc. Everything tasted extremely fresh and they do have milk substitutes available. I have a feeling this is going to be our new stop when we go to the north fork.

My friends recommended this place to me. We went there for camping breakfast. A cup of good coffee is extremely important for me .Hampton coffee filled what I needed. Thanks!

Overpriced! Overpriced! Overpriced! My husband and I got 2 drinks. He got a regular black coffee and I ordered a skinny caramel latte. Just for me adding skinny syrup was $1.25 extra and almond milk was 85 cents extra. The taste is there but I could get more for my money at Starbucks! My small latte was 5 and change. What a rip off. When my husband confronted the counter people they said, "that's the east end for ya." Um it's not even the real Hamptons hunny! Next time I'll just take my business to starbucks.

Coffee & oatmeal with bananas

Hey Starbucks, if you ever dream of beating this place you better wake up & smack yourself! Twice as fast as SB, employees are so nice & the atmosphere is open & relaxing. In the picture I enjoyed the oatmeal that is delicious as well as filling. Other eats are not in short supply, scones, small sandwiches & wraps are all on display. They even offer kombucha & other cold drinks. When I need a shot in the arm I go to a double cafe americano. Honestly it so good I wouldn't be surprised if they open another location further out on the North Fork.

It's more of a sweet treat than an everyday coffee, but they had many other options for everyday coffee. Along with my coffee, I ordered a corn muffin and a chocolate muffin. The muffins were big, not dry and perfectly sweet. All of the bakery items looked amazing. They also serve sandwiches which I plan to try next time. They have many tables inside, as well as outside tables during the warmer months. I highly recommend stopping here on your way out east.

I really do take far too many photos, but it's helpful because then I remember there are spots I may have forgotten to write up like Macchiato Espresso Bar. I visited this cute Mattituck location back in late August and the results were pretty tasty. You see my wife and I were looking for some coffee and a place that's different than what we've often found on the North Fork and so MEB popped up as an option. Not a ton of reviews were posted, but from the ones on Yelp (and dare I say Google too) made it seem worthy of stopping. The worthiness is definitely there because Macchiato has a nice array of coffee options as well as pastries and more elaborate edibles (sandwiches, salads, etc.). You can find everything on their menus though you won't find too much else inside as the place is definitely small. A couple of tables, some fridge drinks and pre-maid foods, and an area of swag and other items is the entirety of the interior so don't expect any true cozy feels. But hey, you can't drink cozy (well maybe in the Fall/Winter), and so let's turn our attention back to the name of this place and focus on coffee. I went with an iced latte with vanilla while my wife tried the iced chocolate (as it was written on the menu). For me, I liked mine. Nothing negative to necessarily say about it as it had a good coffee kick, but when my wife felt like hers was a little too heavy in the bitter bang before the chocolate took over, I decided for us to switch drinks as I thought the iced chocolate was delightful (I do like my coffee a little stronger). Before finishing up, I do want to mention that we were a bit hungry and so one of the chocolate croissants in the display case made its way into our possession. The funny interaction my wife had with the friendly staff member ("Is that a chocolate croissant?" "You know it is!") added to our excitement and oh did it pay off as it tasted delicious. Overall, Macchiato Espresso Bar had a lot to like. Perhaps they're a little small, but they pack some good coffee and pastry/food choices in an area that really doesn't have a ton of options. I'd definitely return another time when out east and in search of my morning cup of joe along with a desire for a bite to eat. And with that I can now post some very belated pics with this review so the CMs stay off my back!
