I've been to this location over a dozen times. Service is always lacking. The customer service is not home.

Absolutely terrible again, the drive thru line is always SO long and it takes forever to get through. Going inside isn't always an option because sometimes they lock the doors so no one can come in. Don't go here if you're on a time crunch, even if you place an order on the app, you'll be there forever. read more

Ordered 2 Venti Vanilla Bean Frappe with 2 shots of expresso each. Got charged for them. then they tried handing me Grande Frappes......uhh NO! Im a coffee lover don't upcharge me and then give me a smaller cup. So I asked for my order to be fixed. Barista was apparently upset because all that was done was dumping the grande into a venti cup and handing it back. no effort to even fill the cup up. just tried hiding the difference with whipped cream. Definitely not worth the $18 I paid. didn't want half a cup of whipped cream. read more

The worst service. They could not be slower. 20 min wait time for no reason. Avoid if you have places to be.

Really bad service. I walked in to order around 11AM on a Friday morning. I was the only person in line inside. There were 4 employees all with headsets on. Nobody greeted me for 7 minutes. Finally one of them said "we'll be right with you," but it took about 5 more minutes for someone to actually take my order. I've never stood at a cash register for 10+ minutes waiting to give my order at a Starbucks before. There were only two people waiting inside for mobile orders and the other patrons inside the store were all seated and enjoying their drinks already, which tells me all 4 of these employees were too busy focussing on the drive through line. The manager needs to organize the team and everyone's respective roles more efficiently. read more

After arriving when the Starbucks app suggested, my mobile order wasn't ready. There was 5 employees and only one making drinks. Took me roughly 30 minutes waiting inside and the employee making drinks started complaining at the people waiting saying do not bother them or they'll have to wait longer when no one was bothering them. Don't bother wasting your time or money here. It would have been quicker going to Dover and back then waiting for a simple order here in Rochester. read more

Yesterday I went to this location, only my 2nd time visiting. It was however my first time using the mobile app and picking up my order via the drive thru. I ordered a venti lemonade, with apple juice and a pump of raspberry syrup. I did this on the Starbucks app which was very easy to use. A few minutes later I arrived and was in the drive thru line. Long line but we moved fairly quickly. The lady taking orders was super bubbly and friendly! When I got up to the window the lady greeted me by name. They are still practicing COVID safety, and handed me my drink in a plastic holder. Service, 5 stars! The lemonade was delicious, but like with many places you pay a good amount for a heavily iced down drink. Next time I think I'll order light or no ice. Lemonade tasted fresh and my additions just added to it! Very good. Almost $5, a bit steep but as a treat, it was worth it. I'll be back and trying new drinks! read more

A few weeks ago, 3:00 pm on a Sunday waited (and I timed it!!) over twenty (25) five minutes in line. The (ADULT) packed car from MAINE in front of me, ordered (6) six! drinks in the drive thru. Complicated drinks that were apparently ALL made incorrectly because ALL of the DRINKS! were returned to the cashier & had to be redone! SIX DRINKS.............. Come on customers, if you are ordering SIX COMPLICATED DRINKS YOU GO INTO THE STORE NOT THE DRIVE THRU. After Sbux began begging for employee tips, I have really limited my purchasing here. Rochester Starbucks is the worst one to go to unless you have unlimited time. If you have unlimited time, I would, still suggest going through the drive-thru even if it is around the corner out into the street, it will still be faster than going inside. They are quick to take a thousand orders but why would you and have them all waiting, stop taken orders and help with making the drinks. Manager needs a different job. I just got word that my local Starbucks just reopened and normally I would have been super stoked at this news. However since before this lockdown was in place, where all businesses closed, I had an experience with Starbucks that has me not even interested in going back. I went to this location March 21, 2020 at 8:44am and ordered a pink guava tea, my usual daily drink which I enjoyed. The servers were never warm and personable but rather professional - not that I mind. It's Starbucks, not a small local business - so to be honest, after my MANY visits to this chain, I know what to expect. However all that aside, I was never prepared for someone to be so RUDE to me as this girl was right before lockdown began. I had ordered my tea via mobile order, which is my normal routine. I get to the window and the girl hands me a brown drink that looks NOTHING like the drink I get regularly. I tell her this, "my drink doesn't look right, this is supposed to be a bright pink" and she goes "that's how the drink is made, that's a pink guava." I tell her that just from looking at it, I can tell it's not right. And sorry but for the $4.63 that I pay for this drink, I would like it correct. So I tell her again, I think it's wrong and she goes. "That's how the drink is made, ma'am" and walks away from the window. I drive up and take a sip, it's wrong... doesn't even taste like guava... it's gross. I haven't wanted to go back since. Now Starbucks is open and I have 1199 stars to use and I really dont want to go back unless I can get a couple tumbler cups and call it a day... I won't be going back anytime soon. Customer service is huge and I won't support a location that treats people like crap. Not acceptable. All she needed to do was say sorry and remake the drink, end of story. That's the right move in that situation, no excuses. I wasn't being rude, raising my voice, and/or making a scene. I kept my mouth closed about the incident - but decided after hearing they were open today, that I would share my experience. I suffered the misfortune of receiving a gift card to Starbucks when I won a Halloween costume contest at work. After Christmas, I had a good variety of gift cards in my wallet, so I decided to use them up to get rid of the clutter. I visited my local Starbucks in the new shopping complex on Route 11. Granted, I was raised in New England, where I am accustomed to Dunkin Donuts, but why does it have to be so complicated to order something at Starbucks? Their bizarre coffee lingo makes it impossible for a novice to figure out what to order. At Dunkin, I simply say, "extra extra," and we're done. What does that equate to in Starbucks talk? The dude behind the counter at this Starbucks did not know, or would not tell. I then thought I'd skip the stress of ordering a coffee, so instead I looked at the food. None of the food on display was identifiable. There was no menu. I was unable to read the far off small print on the distant wall. All coffee looked like it was $5 or more. Not knowing what the hell to order, I simply asked for "coffee with 3 sugars and a lot of milk so it will be lukewarm." I spent the rest of my gift card on a couple packages of "Via," which at least I can use when I go camping. When I got to my car to test my coffee, it was scalding hot. It took about a half hour of driving before it cooled down enough to drink. Why, Starbucks, why? I love the taste of your coffee, but I don't know how to order what I want. Took over 15 minutes to get my drink. Then after finally trying to hand it to me was half melted. I asked for a new one and I got a "ah sure" followed up with a dirty look, and an extra 5 mins. Probably the worst starbucks I have ever visited amongst the dozen plus or so that I have frequented. Between the crappy service and the crap tasting drink I am all set with that location. I ended up just throwing it away. They for sure need more training on the drinks, and customer service because both were a joke. Aside from being a building full of Karen's that won't let you sit, the coffee tastes like mud water. This is by far the slowest of all the Starbucks I've visited. I'd recommend that if you have an appointment that is within about 48 hours if stopping in this location, his the Aroma Joes down the street instead. Very disappointed, the past two days I have been told they are out of almost everything and it's impossible to order when they don't know what they have and don't have. I asked for a ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant and got a ham and cheese croissant, asked for vanilla iced coffee and got hazelnut in it. Before they shut down due to covid I never had an issue with my order but since they opened back up I feel like there's always something wrong. Starbucks isn't cheap compared to other coffee shops but I feel like I'd have better luck with Dunkin' Donuts at this point. read more

I have been to this location countless times and the baristas are always so pleasant. My dog loves it too and they accommodate with pup cups!! I only ask when it isn't busy :) it is one of the only drive through places where I have never had an order messed up. Can't recommend it enough. read more

I go to this Starbucks location 3-5 times a week. Everyone is always super friendly and quick with their service. I've never had a truly bad experience. Maybe once or twice I had to wait a little longer than usual... but that's about it. Coffee is always consistent! I'm so glad there is a Starbucks near me now! read more

The coffee wasn't bad- but my boyfriend who has never been to Starbucks before asked them while ordering what current latte flavors they had (because I told him sometimes they have good seasonal flavors) she named a few and he picked one, and while we were waiting behind the car in front of us to get our order we heard the girl who took our order at the window saying to the customer in front of us loud and clear "oh don't worry you guys are fine, the car behind you literally asked me to name off all of the flavors when like the menu is right there; so yeah believe me you guys are golden." I'm sorry but it's pretty unprofessional and rude to talk badly about your customers to other customers. I have experienced excellent customer service at this new location each and every time I have visited (about 10 times so far) since they opened. Each staff person has always been friendly and courteous to me on both drive thru orders and orders placed inside. In fact, today, I had placed an order via the app to pick up in the store. Upon arrival, due to an issue with the app, my beverage had not been made. The barista quickly made it for me and when I approached the manager to pay for it, she pleasantly told me I didn't have to worry about it as I was inconvenienced. I appreciated her professionalism and willingness to make the order right even though it wasn't their fault at all. I love this location as it's close to my work and it's not mobbed like the Dover location. read more

I'm s huge starbucks fan, and was so excited for this location to open. I've been to the drive threw multiple times, and inside 3. First I think there baristas need more training, I have yet to get exactly what I've ordered off of the specialty menus.. so I tried getting just coffee either iced or hot. Still never the same twice. We again went this past Saturday, not busy inside, drivevthrew had some activity. There were maybe 6 employees, 2 working hard at drive threw. A young unprofessional girl (very messy and unkept looking) finally took our order, after waiting 5 mins (my in-laws ordered infornt of us) or I'd of left. Anyway 10 mins later we still hadn't got out coffee and my brother inlaw hadn't got his sandwich. I complained. I felt bad for the barista. The young girl was taking out a half empty trash, came back never washed hands and made the sandwich. All this while the manager stood there texting on her phone.. seriously my complaints should of been addressed by the manager. We were in a rush so I didn't push it, though I am contemplating going in this week to speak with a manager. read more

This location is super pretty and everyone was friendly. HOWEVER. I brought in a screen shot of the order I wanted, it was low carb and sugar free, which I specifically told her it needed to be, and she said there was a better way to make it while keeping it low carb/sugar. I thought that sounded great. I got it, drank it, loved it. Later on I look online and find out that my drink was loaded with carbs/sugar. I think if you're going to make recommendations on orders you should be more informed. I also should have just stuck with the order that I knew was safe and going forward I definitely will do that. read more

They got my order right on the FOURTH try. Venti iced decaf nonfat latte one raw sugar. First try was an iced coffee. Second was a venti iced decaf nonfat latte with FOUR white sugars. Third -- now at this point I have left the drive thru, parked, and gone inside to walk the barista through it -- and right in front of me she starts with the white sugar. Fourth time they got it right. The whole thing took 20 minutes. I remember the day they gave you a coupon for a free drink if they got your order wrong ONCE. But that was back when Starbucks was trying to distinguish itself from Dunkin Donuts. Nice facility, great parking, great drive thru design, horrific employee training and customer service. Someone else on Yelp said she would rather go to Dover. I would rather go to Tilton where they have their act together. This Starbucks will be out of business in a year. read more

I've been going to Starbucks for years and never once have I had an experience like I have it this one. Everybody is so friendly I use the drive-thru often but I didn't have work the other day and when I went in to get my coconut mocha macchiato everybody was perfectly friendly as usual other than the fact that the person making the drinks seems so displeased that that's what I ordered she looked more irritated that she had to make a drink which is her job then she did to be at work. I asked for an extra shot am I drink and I only saw her put one in. By the time I got the drink there is caramel all over the side of the cup and the lid and it looks like it was slammed down on the counter because there was a good amount of the drink on the counter. I'd rather drive to Somersworth to get my coffee then deal with this person again anybody that comes to this one look out for makayla (this thats how its spelled). This place just keeps getting worse. I have been a few times now thinking maybe the staff was just having an off day, but after today I think it's evident that this place just sucks. I pulled into the drive thru at 6:32am, by 6:50am I was leaving without my order. Another time I had gone, I got my breakfast sandwich (after waiting several minutes) which looked like it had just been thrown on the floor and then scooped up and thrown into a bag.
